hi guys
i have rooted my asus zenfone2 and tried to flash a custom recovery in it but unfortunately i got a system update and installed it accidentally .and entered myself into to bootloop ,while trying to recover from it .i got this usb logo displaying .i think i have flashed the files in wrong order .
how to get the bootloader menu back and recover my phone from hard brick .
help me guys .

As of now, there is no solution for a hard brick. If you can try and remember the exact procedure you followed, it would be helpful for the devs working on fixing a hard brick, because to get one in the first place, is not very easy.
Try going to the service center, I hear people are getting replacements.

[Q] cant get past bootloop

I bought this lg e980 all messed up from a friend who had rooted it and none of the google apps worked and I don't think it has any recovery on it bc when I try the combination keys nothing happens it just asks if I want to do a hard reset and when I try to flash one it just give me a dead android guy. I was using freegee and it said my aboot was not compatible with the list or something so I thought If I flashed another one with flashify I would might be able to put a recovery and see if It fixed it but it didn't . im on a bootloop with the lg logo and I get a message saying file battery_charging_complet.png is missing. and im asking if anyone knows how to fix this problem

Newbie mistake bootloop after update, help? ;/

I'm really new to this, hopefully someone can help me. I rooted my phone via method 3 in the Zenfone 2 resources thread. I didn't want to update but the phone downloaded it and I thought it might be ok. The phone updated and got stuck in a bootloop. I believe the update was Z00A 2.19.40.22 ( it was like 34mb?). I read all the threads I could and came to this one. I downloaded the preroot image Z00A 2.19.22 because in my recovery at the top ,it said that was what was on it now. Did I make a mistake there, should I have downloaded an older preroot image? I followed all the directions on recovering from a bootloop ( This thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-to-apply-ota-bootloop-rooted-zf2-t3127835. The phone booted up after the install and I was able to go through the setup. The phone suddenly froze though and I restarted. It gets past the Asus logo and then is stuck at a black screen with the green led blinking. What do I do from here? Is the phone just dead now? Is there a possibility of saving it?
More info- Before downloading the preroot I did try to factory reset from recovery. I was still stuck with bootloop. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it a lot.

Failed to get PMT info, is it bricked for good?

Hi,
So today suddenly my phone restarted and after that it was stuck on the micromax logo, I coudnt get into recovery either. So I tried to flash the stock kitkat rom using sp tools, it did manage to flash it the first time but the phone after that wont start at all, nothing not even the charging screen.
Is it bricked for good? I tried to flash it again but if I choose firmware upgrade or download+firmware upgrade in sp tools I get the pmt info error. Is there any way to get the phone back to a working state? Any help would be much apprecited.
Note: I did look through the old post on the similar topic where the guy managed to solve the problem by using a latest version of sp tools, Im already using the latest version , no dice.
Did you get anywhere with this to unbrick the device as I have similar with a GDP XP and it wont now boot or show charge its just dead!
Any help on fixing this would be great as we cant be alone with this. ATB

Help my G3 might be hardbricked (hopefully only softbrick)

Hello, I would like to ask if my LG G3 is softbricked or hardbricked. It has been a long while since it decided to boot loop. I tried to fix it but got no results. I tried to factory reset it, but the next day it didn't turn on anymore and got stuck in the logo. Note : the phone was experiencing some heating issue before it decided to screw itself up. I tried numerous troubleshooting from the net, none worked. I also did try to reinstall the firmware to stock again, it did boot but it can't get to the home screen. I then factory reset it again and tried using another firmware also built for my phone (it's LG G3 D855). It failed again at 33% while it was in the firmware update mode. Now that I have left it for a solid year, I thought that it would be nice to try again. Which I did, but it couldn't charge anymore and it cannot boot to the logo. I tried to go to the download mode but no response. I tried connecting it to my computer, but it only detects my phone as a charge only device, it also detects it on only several random occasion. I hope this is a softbrick and it can be fixed at home so I don't need to go to the store to repair it.
I'm sorry for the long explanation, I had been trying to revive it for months now and had no luck. How do I fix this, at least how do I get to the firmware update download mode again? I really really hope that anyone can help. Thankyou so much in advance.
