S-off with hboot 0.85.0024 - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I downgraded hboot from 2.00.0029 to 0.85.0024 in order to gain s-off more easily applying
adb push gfree /tmp/
adb shell chmod 775 /tmp/gfree
adb shell /tmp/gfree -f
Click to collapse
But now that I need to unlock the bootloader to follow these steps I obtain an error
c:\adb>fastboot oem get_identifier_token
...
(bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!!
OKAY [ 0.015s]
finished. total time: 0.017s
Click to collapse
Any idea? How can I achive s-off easily?
Thx in avance

If you had a success message after the gfree operation you should be s-offed supercided and simunlocked so it is not nessesary to unlock your bootloader by using HTC_DEVs way.You could flash an engineering hboot in order to be able to use fastboot commands.
If you steel want to unlock your bootloader with HTC_DEVs way I think you have to upgrade your hboot version to 2.00.0029.
Check this out to upgrade only your hboot version.

It used to work,no lcd or any other hardware problem. It's S-off as you can see.It worked little slow so all i did was a simple hard reset and after that it shows nothing.I tried diffrent official ROMs but no change.
It goes to fastboot but shows nothing.I'm sure coz PC detects it in fastboot mode,it even powers ON and i can hear the startup sound but again nothing is shown. Please help.
By the way which official ROM is the correct one regarding the phone info?

How do I get my base version?
Update your recovery to a newer version.
I'm on the latest TWRP.

You are on 3.28.xxx.x You can tell by your hboot number. What are you trying to achieve?
I don't see a 3.28 in any of those numbers, care to explain? I just wanted to know for when lollipop is released.
I had that as well until I flashed the latest 4.16.401.9 firmware. Can't explain why though. Now ADB shows it correctly.
The previous twrp versions had the "bug" that it made that software version disappear. Reflashing a compatible firmware and the latest most updated twrp versions solves it.

What do I do now? I've tried re-installing the original RUU as suggested by HTC but install fails
EDIT:
Problem solved. I downgraded the RUU and used the AAHK2 kit to unlock the bootloader instead of the HTC method.
