Hello All.
Been using zooper widget for a while now and have created a lot of complex widgets with no issue. Now, after going to CM12.1, all my widgets are resetting to a default location (Eureka) after my screen goes off. I have to manually force update to get the correct location/weather. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix? Thanks

Hello everyone,
i have this weird problem, i installed tasker on my unrooted desire with stock 2.2 and it seems that it's not doing anything... i created a few profiles - nothing happens, i even tried making a widget for a task to set display brightness to 5 but "clicking" the widget did nothing... any ideas what i might be doing wrong?
I seem to have an issue with the stock weather widget. I have it set to refresh every three hours but it never seems to. I tried searching and found similar problems on other phones but not the Nexus. When I go in and try to manually refresh it never does, or it will after multiple attempts at trying to refresh manually. I use WiFi a lot but GPS is always on so I don't think its that...anyone else out there with the Galaxy Nexus that experiences this?
Faintly remember the problem w/ the stock 2.3 weather widget on my G2...
Never used it on the GNex, as 1weather looks about 1000x better. I'll load it up and try.
Ever since I got the update for 4.2.2 I have have to force stop the stock launcher every so often (about 1 time per day) because my widgets will just stop updating. This includes the Gmail, Calendar and Google Now widgets. Anyone else experience this? Wanted to know if there was a possible solution before factory resetting the phone. My Galaxy Nexus is completely stock.
Thanks,
Jay

Click to collapse
Always try a soft reset before a factory reset....pull the battery leave it for a min and reinsert
So I removed the Weather.com widget on my home screen and put back the stock android digital clock I had and now I don't have issues with widgets locking up after a day or so.
So this is more of an annoyance than anything and I was curious if anyone else has this happen. On both the samsung calender and Google calendar I turn off the notifications, after a reboot the notifications are turned back on. Does this happen to anyone else? Am I missing something?
No one else has noticed this? Am I the only one it happens to?
All good here. What Rom are you running ? Did you do a clean install ?
You might be suffering from the annoying phenomenon that I am suffering from. My settings do not stick through reboots. It affects many application defaults settings. To date, I have found no one that can help me resolve that issue.
Yea, I've read your thread too. I was going to chime in there with my problem. I wonder what the issue is and if both are related.
This is still a really annoying problem. I can turn off all calendar notifications, and within an hour to a day they turn themselves back on. Rooted, stock, no mods.
Have you checked the reminder settings on Google Calender on the PC /Laptop ?
Yea, it still does it on Google calendar and samsung calender.
After spending a significant amount of time building a really cool Zooper widget, my work has been frozen, literally. The widget does not update, it's static. The time doesn't change. I have several modules triggered by advanced parameters, which do not take effect (i.e., a play button pops up when I'm connected to bluetooth, this doesn't happen). Even if I try to force a refresh in the zooper app, the widget on my homescreen doesn't change at all. In the Zooper config screen, the preview shows the widget correctly (everything updated and presented as it should based upon advanced parameters).
Everything was working last night, but this morning, it's now frozen. Restart doesn't fix the problem.
I'm using ZW v2.58. Nova Launcher Prime. Note 4 AT&T (nonrooted). FWIWs, I tried using Apex and had the same problem.
Help, please!
Have you tried deleting your widget from homescreen and place it again?
Yes. I've tried also uninstalling and reinstalling Nova and ZW. And the problem recurs. I even tried recreating the widget, but the problem recurs.
This thread is old but I have had this same issue, Zooper Widgets not updating. I have to restart my phone to get them to update.
