International ROMS question - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Hey guys so I don't know if anyone else is running into this issue, particularly for the s6 edge plus ports. On the roms themselves, I don't see an option for group messaging under messages>settings>more settings>multimedia messages. There's supposed to be an option for group conversation but I don't see it and all the messages I recieve that are supposed to be in a group,I get individually from each user instead of one threaded mms. Is anyone else running into these issues for the ports? Any fix would be highly appreciated.

Problems with Handcent Group Messaging

Is anyone else having problems with Handcent's group messaging feature? It has worked perfectly for me in the past, but recently I've had trouble sending a SMS to multiple recipients. The send icon just keeps spinning and the SMS never gets sent. I've been able to receive group messages (messages sent to me and other recipients), and they show up correctly on Handcent as threaded messages, but I have not been able to respond to them. If anyone has a fix or any insight, that would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using the CDMA version of the Galaxy Nexus, on Verizon, and a CM9 rom. Thanks!

I've had this same problem with Samsung SGS3, I receive group messages but when I reply it just flashes and nothing is ever sent. There is some bug in their program.
Both me and my wife had similar issues with handcent (nexus4g and epic4g). We switched to GOSMS and it seems to work better for us for group msg's. We have a few friends that we often group chat with and one of them use's handcent on his droid X and often has issues too.

[Q] Group messaging problem

I ported a Verizon S3 rom to my ATT S3 and everything works perfectly fine except every time I get sent a picture message it comes in as group messaging for some reason and no matter which way I reply to individual or group,it sends the reply back to me also.I see no where in the Message settings menu where I can disable group messaging all together.Does anyone know why it is doing this and how I can go about fixing it? I have also tried putting the messaging apk from 2 different ATT roms in there instead and ended up with force closes. If anyone can help,I would really appreciate it.Thanks
any ideas anyone ?

Where is group messaging???

This feels like such a noob question but I'm at a loss. I know group messaging has been baked into the latest release but it doesn't seem to be working right.
I have the group messaging option turned on in my settings and I can send a group text just fine. But when I receive a group message it looks like a normal text message. I can't see who the other recipients are and so I can't respond to anyone but the person who sent that text.
I've noticed the same thing on several different S3 phones running 4.3 so I feel like either I am doing something wrong or "group messaging" doesn't work the way I expect it to. Are we only able to send group texts but not receive them? What gives?
Thanks.

I have the Verizon version of the S3, so I'm not sure if they behave the same. I went into my messing app, hit the menu to get settings and have the option for "Group Conversations" "Send messages as group conversations by default" checked...mine works just fine. When I get a group text, I have an option to switch it from MMS to SMS and have it be an individual text.

Anyone else having a problem with Group messaging on CM11

I am currently running CM11 on my SG3 with AT&T, and while group messaging works it seems to hang up when I get too many messages at one time. It shows that someone has replied but then it does not display the message rather it show it is downloading but nothing ever comes through. I have attached a screenshot of the reply I get when it hangs up. Does anyone know if this is a phone/software issue or is it service issue with AT&T? Thanks in advanced for your reply.

What text app for group threads

I'm running stock Oreo 8.0.0 on Samsung S9 using the bundled texting app.
When I receive group texts from an iPhone user, I only see myself as a recipient; the other recipients aren't listed.
Also when I reply to what I happen to know is a group text, my reply only goes to the sender rather than to the group members.
Is there a setting I'm missing or do I need to use a different text messaging app?
I use the default messaging app on my stock S9 (VZW) and I don't have this problem. Half my family use Android-based phones and the others use iPhones. Our group conversation work just fine. However, all of the group conversation I am involved in include people already in my contacts. I'm wondering if your missing recipients is related to who is in your contacts?

Nope, the problem shows up even with those in my contact list.
Maybe I'll try a random texting app and see what happens.
Other apps exhibit the same problem. Anyone have any insight into this problem?
