The the moment no, it only supports Strava, Smash Run, and Runkeeper. Aside from Endomondo, it does do everything you ask otherwise though; i use it with my Polar H7, LG Tone Pros, and record with Ghostrunner.

You can export data to ghostracer and import in endomondo web site manually, in this manner we are also imported data cardio.

Has anyone testes it with jabra sport pulse wireless?
A BT headset with HRMbuildin.

Has anyone tested it with the Jabra sport pulse wireless headset which has HRM build in?

I did, it works as advertised. I only ran with the Jabra's like twice, found them very uncomfortable. They work though.

I run often with jabra sport pulse + ghostracer and I find it VERY good.
The headphones have a very good fit for my ear but you will need to experiment with the sizes of the ear buds and wings to find the size that is good for you.
I leave my phone at home, run, listen to music and record my HR, all from the watch.
When I'm finished, I select 'export' from ghostracer on my phone, then use an app called 'sync my runs' to import that activity in to runtastic. endomondo is an option too.

Is there a solid reason why doesn't this setup work with Endomondo?

Works really well with the Jabra Sport Pulse, and now the Google Fit update allows you to track runs and walks with the built in GPS - does anyone know if we can get the Jabra Pulse to connect to Google Fit for heart rate monitoring? (Google say it can track your heart rate if you have a heart rate monitor on your Smartwatch)

[Q] Heart Rate Monitor

I am interested in using the Smartwatch for running as it has GPS and can play music.
What I would like to know is if you can connect a Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor to the watch?
Has anybody tested this yet?
Thanks
At the moment that's not possible.
The only app that works without the phone in "offline" mode for sports is My Tracks from Google. So there is no app to use any Hear Rate Monitor.
The big thing, and I hope it's coming soon is new versions of Runtastic/Runkeeper etc with the same offline mode. Then, may be they let us use chest BT heart rate monitors.
We have to wait.
Question: is it possible to connect HR monitor and Smartwatch (so 2 BTLE devices) to the phone at the same time?
Example: go running, have the phone handle GPS and get heart rate data from a Bluetooth chest strap, and show it on the Smartwatch?
Sent from my D5803 using XDA Free mobile app
Yes. Perfectly possible. Runtastic would show all the info in the watch.
I really hope they add support for untethered mode with SW3. Their wear app is more flexible and better visually than runkeeper.

Cool! Thanks! Will buy it and use it like that with Endomondo until it will be possible to use a Heart rate strap directly with the watch. Don't really need music.
I see Strava has a Android Wear app. Is it possoble to connect i.e. Zephyr HxM Bluetooth Heart Rate belt to this watch?
Bump
I'm using a Polar H7 Bluetooth Smart HR strap together with this watch. Using ghostracer app. Works pretty well now.

I am also hoping that it will be possible to connect a chest worn heart rate monitor directly to the watch... I would be lining up to buy the SW3 if that were the case. But without that feature, what function does the watch serve if you still have to lug your phone around?
Second question, people were talking about off line mode above... Does Google Fit work in the so called off line mode??

Ya I saw that... But I'm want to be able to use it with Endomondo or Google Fit to track all sports and activities, not just running and biking. This is a good sign though.
Does the watch track Google Fit activity when not tethered to a phone?

Looks to me though that you are looking more for something like a Polar M400 or V800... Perfect sport watches and the next update will bring smartphone notifications...

I've been trying for a few days to get my Polar H7 to connect with my SW3 and I"ve had no success. If I go to Bluetooth devices in Settings, I see it available and sometimes I can get it to pair. However, I've never been able to get it to connect, it's always stuck at Connecting.... I know the HRM works fine, I use it daily. I tried turning the phone off, resetting the watch but no luck. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
There's no need to pait Bluetooth LowEnergy (BLE) devices. Enable on the phone in settings/AndroidWear/BetaHeartReate. Then simply start Ghostracer and watch the heart symbol turning from grey to white when it is connected to your heart rate strap. That's all. To monitor your HRM frequency use "customise screens" (you need to buy the full version) and add the HRM from data field "sensors".
How did you managed to get the HxM working with GhostRacer or Endomondo on the watch? I'm not sure I get it...
Do you connect the HxM with the Phone or the Watch?
Do you run the app on the phone or on the watch?
So far I tried connecting with the phone, setting it up with endomondo but I don't get the BPM on the watch (altough I do have it on the phone)
I tried pluging it on the phone directly, but Endomondo still doesn't show it...
I tried opening GhostRacer but I don't even get a pace/GPS reading...
I don't have any options to "enable heartrate monitor" under Wearable neither...
If someone would guide me on this, it would be greatly apreciated!

Connecting HR Band via Bluetooth

Thinking about ordering the SmartWatch 3, however the one let down is the lack of heart rate monitor.
Does anyone know if its possible to connect two devices via bluetooth - Headphones and HR band? That way I could leave my phone at home when I go out running.
someone else mentioned using this with the Microsoft band without problem. And I have used each watch I've owned, this one included, along with my car's bt audio at the same time, so I don't see any reason why not. I will have a band myself pretty soon, so I'm hoping I can.
My Motorola hr strap connects along side my Sony ws613 headphones. I dont get heart rate as no apps support it yet but at least they are both connected at once.
Thank you both for your replies.
Guessing its just a case of waiting for an App to come out to view the HR on the watch now.
what about ANT+ protocol?
Theoretically, and off course depending on your headphone set, and HR strap .. you could run the music app via the Bluetooth protocol, to your headphones, and leave the HR monitor running over the ANT+ protocol..
That way you'd leave music playback to the BE alone.
PS : I am also awaiting for that standalone HR function confirmation. That will determine my acquisition of the device. Any news on that front ?
Has anyone tried any ANT+ HR chest-strap..or optic sensor strap?
Afair smart watch 3 does not have ant+ onboard.

Wrong! Polar H7 does pair and works perfectly.
I will rephrase it. My Polar H7 pairs but inmediately disconnects from my Smartwatch 3. What app are you using in the watch to see the heart rate? How are you pairing both devices?
Thanks.

It's kind of strange, it stops at "Connecting..." but is really connected. Look at "Unpair devices", if your H7 band shows up there, you are connected. I have not tried pairing two devices at the same time, sorry...
Try "Sports Gear Tracker", not a great app but it will show your heart rate anyway...
My Polar iWL shows up at the "unpair menu" but does not connect to the "Heart Rate - Sport Gear + Wear" app.
I think because my Polar Wearlink+ HRM does not use Bluetooth 4.0 (Smart)
Have to buy a Polar H7 instead... Or does anyone recommend a better one?

Wow, that's interesting! Does the HR data seem like it's being recorded accurately and consistently? Can you please provide some screen shots of this?
HRM Works SW3!
I have a MIO Link Bluethooth 4th HRM Wrist strap. If I install heart rate - sport gear + wear (which has a wear app), get the phone app to recognize the strap, start a workout on phone, disconect it, run the wear app, it detects my Mio link and displays the heartbeat value on the SW3. I then even killed the bluetooth on my phone to kill the wear link and the HR still increased. Its a little finicky, but this is very encouraging! screenshot attached.
It starts at 70, but then varys a little...not as accurate as the phone app as it seems to move around more. However it does increase when i do jumping jacks.
Its a start, not really working, but at least wear can see BT HR monitors in some capacity
H7 Connection
As has been mentioned the Polar H7 says "connecting" but does'nt say connected. It does appear in setting within unpair.
Testing with Sport Gear tracker does provide results though they are vastly out. I have no idea if it is actually reading the H7 and just inaccurately translating the reading or indeed if its just spouting other data.

Compatible Hearth Rate Sensors

Hi all,
I would like to know who had successfully paired a BT hearth rate belt with the SW3 (in standalone mode)
I want to workout without the needs to carry my phone, but I already tried 3 different sensors from Amazon, each of this failed.
It would be nice to know - who had no issue on pairing and using the sensor - what brand and model of sensor is using.
So far I tried:
- Arendo V2 with Bluetooth Smart 4.0 (No signal, maybe broken)
- Ultrasport textiler - Newco - Bluetooth 4.0 (DOES NOT PAIR)
- SportPlus SP-HRM-BLE-200 (PAIR and work and tested with ghostracer)
I hope my tests can save time and money to others.

How did you try to pair? Are you aware you don't actively pair them, as you would a bluetooth keyboard or earbuds? It's just a matter of the hrm being on, and android wear initiating the connection when an app requests a HRP connection.
see

Polar H7 and H6 both work flawlessly... But you don't pair them in the BT settings.. Just open the App (Ghostracer for now) and it will detect the HR strap (Only if you are wearing it)
Mio link works with ghostracer.
I'm unaware of any other app that will do this, but I'd like to hear about it if there is another.

Endomondo with hrm

Hrm, GPS and music. I've managed 2 of 3 so far!
Today's run I had hrm and GPS through ghostracer, but I use endomondo for all my tracking so ideally I'd swap back to it. There's a hrm reading on the display, but it remains at 0, ghostracer remains accurate.
Anyone managed to tracking hrm using the endomondo app yet?
On a side note, my sync'd playlist had been dropped meaning I had to download the tracks again. Does this happen often?
HRM works perfectly with ghost racer, I use the Jabra Pulse Sport Bluetooth headphones with the built in HRM in the ear, super accurate.
I texted Endomondo Support whether it would be possible, but they told me that at the moment the only way to connect a hrm is to carry your phone, so that the info could be pushed to watch over the phone.
I even asked if this feature was on their actual road map, which had been denied. But at least it was forwarded to the dev team as a feature request for upcoming releases.

Bluetooth music bug

I have a pair of Jabra Elite Active 65t Bluetooth earbuds. I had no problem connecting them to my Huawei Mate 20 X L-29 and they auto-connect each time I put them in my ears, but I have an odd problem. When I put them in my ears they say "connected" and play a little tune and I can then receive and make phone calls, call up and use Google Assistant, etc., and the voice audio through the earbuds works fine. But if I try to play any type of music, whether it is streaming through YouTube or Spotify, or even playing a downloaded .mp3 file through the Google Play Music app, I just get the sound of hissing and stuttering in my earbuds, no music. If I go into settings on the phone and turn Bluetooth off and then back on, voila, the music plays fine and continues to do so until I power my phone off and on and then the problem repeats itself, again solved by turning Bluetooth off and back on. These same Bluetooth earbuds auto-connect and play music fine with my Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and with my wife's Huawei Mate 8. The problem is therefore with this phone, not the earbuds. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I'm not experiencing this issue. Music/calls/youtube all play fine over bluetooth. I have the China version.
My Mate 20 X (China version, EMUI 9.0.0.137) are intermittent playing music through my bluetooth speaker, even the phone and speaker are next to each other. The speaker is fine playing music with my other Galaxy S8. The songs are stored in my phone, so the internet speed is not a concern.
Hey,
I think this very much depends on the pair of headphones. I have the Chinese Mate 20 X, and I own 2 pairs of BT headphones.
My skullcandy crushers work fine. Crisp, loud, in sync. No problems.
My Jaybird Run earbuds will only work for 1 or maybe 2 songs on spotify before losing connection or turning off. They are basically unusable. I'm not sure if it's the phone's fault or whether its more generally a bluetooth 5.0 problem?
I've tested my Jaybird Run earbuds on my old phone and I have no problem.
There are so many factors, its hard to say what's causing this and whether its the fault of the phone, bluetooth 5, or the headphones.
Same with p20pro ( same bt buds) to the point i just go to bt and disconnect and reconnect everytime beforeci start listening .
I m pretty sure its only happening with thid headset since i had a cheap bt headset before and it was fine .

Which buds are you using?
The P20 Pro is using Bluetooth 4.2
So I've done a bit more testing and have now paired my Jabra Active Elite 65t 5.0 Bluetooth earbuds with several other phones, running Android operating systems 7, 8, and 9. They pair and connect seamlessly on both calls and media. But on the Huawei Mate 20 x they connect immediately for calls, but they don't always connect for media playback. Like the chap above mentioned, this happens whether I am streaming music to the earbuds or playing music downloaded to my phone, so it is not a wifi issue. If I can't hear music going to my earbuds when the phone's settings say that I'm connected to them, I have to do one of two things. The first is to toggle Bluetooth off and then back on - in which case they music plays and will continue to do so until I've powered down and reconnected the earbuds. The second way to hear the music is to go into settings/developer options and change the default AAC Bluetooth codec to SBC, in which case I instantly hear music. I can then immediately switch back to the AAC codec (which my earbuds work with) and the music continues to play. There is no way, however, to change the 'default' codec to SBC, as each time you exit developer options it reverts to AAC. Perhaps Huawei could fix this in a subsequent firmware update and that may solve the problem. I'm receiving two more Huawei Mate 20 x phones this afternoon and I'll test it with them as well to see if the problem is isolated to the one phone or if it is a problem with all the Mate 20 x phones.

My model is L29
To set the Jabra Service to run in the background (or any app for that matter) go to Settings / Battery / App launch, scroll down to Jabra Service and de-select "manage automatically". That will force it to run in the background all the time. It only uses a tiny amount of memory. You will know when you've done it correctly when you put your Jabra's in your ears (which turns them on and autoconnects them) and you see the little "Jabra Service" icon displayed on the top left hand side of the phone.
The L29 I ordered for my wife's Christmas present arrived today and the Bluetooth media connection problem occurs on it just like it does on my L29. I've tried the Jabra's on five or six other phones now and the problem playing media audio only occurs on the Mate 20 x. Must be a firmware glitch.

I do face the hissing and stuttering during play every time when I am near any electronic stores. This issue has been following me from my previous IPhone 8 Plus before getting this Huawei mate 20x.
After pairing up with huawei mate 20x, I still have similar issues like the description above. But it serves me well when I go for my run and gym. I still use wired earpiece while commute to avoid suspicious look talking to myself. Jabra elite active 65t, is my sports companion only.

After pairing up with huawei mate 20x, I still have similar issues like the description above. But it serves me well when I go for my run and gym. I still use wired earpiece while commute to avoid suspicious look talking to myself. Jabra elite active 65t, is my sports companion only.

Thanks. I've just bought thenm and I'm facing stuttering and interruption while watching prime video while in the subway. I previously had zolo liberty and had zero issues while in the subway. To be fair I always have two devices connected to the Jabra. I'm wondering whether that's the problem...but reading your answer I guess they don't seem to have a rock solid connection anyway. I agree with that remark that you stated. Therefore, I always used a wired even though I have jabra elite active 65t in my gym while commuting.
