I stay using ComfortStock v2[ICS], but I will change this for LegendStock Rom v3 this night

i'm really happy with my atomic gb 7.0. very stable and to me better than stock. I'm using no-frills CPU (1.024 mghz max clock and 122 MHz min clock). Is there any way to speed up my phone? I'm getting about 14.5 fps avg. I can play most games smoothly but I wanted to see if there's a way to speed things up to get a better score. my highest score is about 15.2.
I'm not a guru with the play and any help would be great help!

thanks for the reply. I greatly appreciate that. i'm using no-frill CPU and there are no options to go past 1.024ghz max or 122mhz min clock and the options for governor and scheduler that you listed are not offered. am I using the correct app or something else I can do?

seems to me like you are running the stock kernel... i would google on how to flash/install lupus kernel which offers a higher clock speed and other various govenors/schedulers,

Im ising pureslim 4.4 now so no oc for me now but just asking ;p

With an OC your ui will become smoother and games will lag less

There you go.. say thanks to envious_data.. couldn't have explained it better.. Normally the clock for,
2D - 200Mhz
3D - 266Mhz
But we can overclock gpu to obtain,
2D - 266Mhz
3D - 320Mhz
Phone will run with no lag at all.. And it's super smooth.. I haven't tested it's effect on the battery yet though.. I don't actually use it much.. Unless if I want to play Asphalt 8 without lag..

the effect on battery is almost un noticable,
this is because its a small change (as oposed to a cpu oc (much higher frequencys and higher voltages required)
xperia s uses gpu and cpu to display
and finaly most kernels with a gpu oc usualy have a gpu undervolt meaning per frequency step it uses less power as oposed to stock

I get this problem sometimes.. My 2D gpu frequencies cannot be changed.. it might be because of mp-decision but isn't DooMKerneL supposed to have its own mp-decision? if i cant get past this problem, can you give me a link to the latest trinity kernel for Xperia S..? If its not asking for too much..

doomkernel doesent have 2d overclock
doomkernel used the stock mpdecision
also no need for a 2d oc unless you dont like laggy opengl based games

Tweak is of optimization. Tweak can means Overclock, Debloat, RAM optimization, etc
On cm11 tweak (Overclock) is optional because not everyone need high-speed CPU. but Ram optimization in needed by me.

For overclock just flash one of the kernel availabe for CM11 (k2wl's Evolution kernel or xenon92's Nebula kernel)
then press the build number in "about phone" 7-10 times (im forgot). The performance setting will appear in settings menu (not "about phone"). Grant superuser if asked. then change the governor or cpu clock. JUST, dont overclock your cpu too high because its only drain your battery quickly and shorten the CPU life

Is single sim supported? D5303? Hope you can make one too for Lollipop that has Kitkat camera plus improved quality. I wonder if you can make the ui morr smoother like scrolling down the notifi ui mostly in Lollipop mini game where MTK6582 doesent have frame drops where T2 has with SD400.

i dont have d5303, so cant test my kernel on that device, without testing i cant upload on xda forums.
Please support D5303 device add overclock in GPU and CPU. Kitkat ui has frame drops possible to make it smoother without overclocking. Please hehe thanks. T2 has great battery life with this kernel maybe I can go a few more in SOT.

Please add overclocking to gpu and cpu. Please make it for D5303 as well maybe you can emulate Single sim version? I saw Galaxy Mega 6.3 gpu default speed at 500 MHz since its Adreno 305 too maybe its possible for our device. The only difference is the processor used in Galaxy Mega whuch is the Krait dual core variant but uses the same gpu Adreno 305 clocked at higher speed 500 MHz by default.
