I have my S620 (WM6) connected via WiFi to my laptop, and that's connected to my work network which uses a proxy to connect to the internet. What happened is that I entered the proxy password incorrectly when prompted by IE, and chose the Save Password option. So now each time I try to open a page I get the message "The user name or password is incorrect. Verify that CAPS LOCK......". Problem is I can't seem to find a way to delete the cached password, and the registry key mentioned in this link does not exist: http://thinkabdul.com/2006/04/25/deleting-cachedsaved-passwords-in-pocket-internet-explorer/
Any ideas?
I had this program that i downloaded off this site a few days ago that allowed me to put a password on my phone. So that everytime i locked my phone, it would have me put in my password to unlock it. Does anyone know what app this is because i hard reset my phone and its not there anymore.
You can go to Settings / Security / Device Lock. It will ask your password everytime you lock your phone.

Never had to try it, but google search found this:
The password is stored on plain text in this file "/data/data/com.android.mms/shared_prefs/com.android.mms.categoryInfo.xml" either read it or delete the file to reassert the password. Deleting the file will not affect the secure box messages in anyway.

Hi,
I’ve successfully deleted my mi account but i couldn’t remove that account from my phone?
Its asking password and if I entered the old password, the message shows that there is no username found (since i delete the acc). Any possible solution to completely remove the acc and enter my new acc details?
