Anyone who has any idea of where I can find these stock wallpapers of S6/S6 Edge that is on the image attached? These ones have a silver o grayish tone compared to the original ones.
Couldn't find bigger one for the last image.Hope these are the ones you were looking for

I thought I'd start a thread on wallpapers that really make you go 'wow' when you look at the screen.. They have to be at least 720p of course and preferably blend in well with the icons/ICS theme.
Allow me to start:
Edit: Added HD zipped version.
Nice! I just set it as my wallpaper.
There's some nice ones in the apps and themes forum. I think the title of the thread is something like black and bright colors wallpapers

Here are a couple i have used on mine that i found on the net... they are both nice and sharp. The one with the blue cubes match perfect with the colors of the ICS theme...
EDIT: Someone made a good point that the forum compressed the images.. I updated them with the higher res versions of the images... look much better.

The one with the blue cubes is great.
Red really pops on the screen. The Star Fish looks amazing
More. I have tons
None of these posted are high enough resolution for the screen. They should be sized to 1440 x 1280, and if you add them as attachments, you should add the originals to a ZIP archive before uploading, so that the forum does not compress them.
I've attached a few I've collected.
Here are some more
Google released a webpage with design patterns for Android apps. As you can see here, there is a wallpaper which I found really cool, so I decided to copy it.
It´s quite simple, and both blue and red parts are a bit larger pointedly, to fit the screen properly (they get smaller when the image is set as wallpaper). Hope you like it!
Thanks! I actually liked the wallpaper when I first saw it

I currently own both models because I am a US AT&T user and was thinking about switching from a white f400S (korean variant) to the black AT&T D850 model but the lcd looks yellow compared and not as bright on the AT&T version and this is consistent with all of them, not just mine (I work in a store so I have been comparing as I sell them).
Any guesses as to why? And does anyone else notice a very small but definitely noticeable checkerboard look on these phones when looking at a blank screen or over the flat colors? the quality seems poor for a 2k display and I have been satisfied with my f400. It doesn't make sense being that LG wouldn't outsource their displays to different manufacturers.
I bought 2 Sprint g3's and they have different displays. One is more yellowish but seems to have a bit better contrast and the other is cooler or bluer looking and seems to be a little brighter. Its really odd since I bought both at the same time on launch day but one is gold and the other is black.
Has anyone noticed difference in display between few different phones (All Galaxy S6 Edge). I got my Galaxy S6 edge recently and the display looks little dull compared the M9 and the iPhone 6 I have. Especially the white doesn't seem to be white. So I went ahead to the BestBuy store and looked at the Galaxy S6 and Edge in stores. Most of them were brighter that what I have. I was wondering if getting an exchange is advisable in this case. There is nothing wrong with the phone, I just liked the display on the other Galaxy S6's in the store.
I have also tried with different calibration settings and still dull compared to others.
I just bought a S4 mini and flashed cm12.1 as I did not intend to use Samsungs Android.
I immediately noticed that the screen looks dirty/grainy
This can be seen best on the "power control widget" background. It looks like a sand paper texture.
But I see that on every not over saturated single colored area also.
I am aware that all AMOLED display do not have super good accuracy, but it is not that I have to stick my face to the screen to notice.
I see this every time without any effort and I find it ugly. It just looks dirty.
I compared with my PS VITA (1st gen) AMOLED and I really really have to concentrate and try hard to see that dirty look there. It is far more clean than my S4 Mini display.
Can anyone confirm? Or is is just bad luck with my unit?
I noticed this too since I got my first S4 mini.
I have two phones and looked at other ones (store, friends). All are the same - grainy.
It's not because of the PPI, I have other phones with lower PPI and backgrounds are clear.
It's most probably because S4 mini doesn't have the "classic" subpixel layout where RGB are close to each other.
The used arrangement is this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe...pg/1280px-Samsung_Galaxy_Note_2_subpixels.jpg

Hi thanks for confirming and thanks for not telling my that I am crazy
But the reason is not only the strange subpixel layout. It seems to be also just bad quality.
Our strange subpixel layout leads to color edges left right top and bottom of a white square on black instead of just left (red) and right (blue), but apart from that it should produce clean single colored areas (whicht it obviously doesn't).
The Vita in addition to producing better single colored areas has the real RGB stripe layout which reduces color edges. I wonder why Samsung gave up on these. Maybe it was too expensive to build(?)
