Hi there, seeing as i cant seem to unlock the bootloader on my g3 (d855) i was wondering if abyone knows of someone in the Sydney region from australia that can help me out?
G3 doesn't have bootloader unlock.

How do I install twrp and flash a custom rom then? Ive seen various other g3's do it, mostly American models, but I cant figure it out for mine.

Bootloader isn't unlock, but bypassed. Twrp is bumped and custom rom's is bumped too. There is the guide to root and install twrp here on xda
Yeah, ive followed them all. But i get loading errors when i try to boot into recovery.

That's fine. You are using lollipop bootloader. You need to return to kitkats one.
You can use benders autorec app for that.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/apk-flash-twrp-autorec-thanks-to-t3081396
If you don't want that, return to stock with kdz, then flash bumped twrp. It will work flawlessly.
Btw it has nothing to do with busybox.
Yea, not entirely sure how to use it though .... :/

Yikes S-on and locked? I don't know if you can flash an RUU in this state, can you try? Hopefully someone answers, I haven't tried and I'm also not sure :-\
Can you execute the command:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
and put the phone into RUU mode? If so, then you should be able to flash the firmware from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2485319
the one you want is this one: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23269279319196969 (stock odex)
Thanks i will try this when i get home

What were you doing that got you stuck in boot loader? Were you previously S-Off or unlocked?
I was trying to flash recovery then my wife hit wrong button on toolkit and ended up locking it snd s off

You mean setting it back to s-on...
my guess is you need to find the encrypted RUU from somewhere. You may be able to find the decrypted RUU then you can use a tool to make it encrypted (ruuveal?) That should let it run when you are locked and s-on
I downloaded ruuveal but not sure jow to work it

Hello Everyone, someone still have this phone like me? So, if anyone can help, I'm searching a way to flash a recovery on my G Pro because, when I tried, the phone just shows the following:
Secure Booting Error!
Cause: boot certification verify
So, if anyone know how to help, I will be grateful

Guys, just got this brand spanking new. It's my first LG and from what I'm reading it's not easy to root this thing. I've read through the forums and wanted to ask if unlocking the boot loader through LG then installing recovery and flashing supersu for gaining root is safe for my phone or should I go through the low effort methods and others... Very confused...
I've got the H815 ...
I've attached a screen shot of my software too to be clear as to what I'm running...

If you have the 815 model, then it's perfectly safe. I just did it in the morning. Unlock, flash recovery, flash root.
Okay so I basically unlock through LG, flash the recovery and then flash super su through it and that's it right?

Also needed to ask, will unlocking the bootloader reset the phone or wipe it?

Hi guys, i have a problem.
After unlock the bootloader and flash TWRP ,i installed the CM13 and all went good.
After reboot the system this message: Your device has failed verification" boot message is appeared and the phone will automatically start the TWRP .
What can i do?
Maybe boot.img is broken.
As it said in the unlocking instructions, this is normal. As long as it's unlocked you will get this. Ignore it.

Solution
Downgrade to Lollipop and then unlock bootloader via official apk app provided by Asus then install twrp. It's done
I only get this message when I reboot into twrp

Hey guys,
Just ignore that warning. It won't harm anything on your device!
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using XDA Labs
It's because you updated the phone to Asus MM, don't worry this is normal from now on custom roms due to MM bootloader
Just curious, is the bootloader is locked again.
If the message mentioned in the thread appears, does it means the bootloader is locked again or it is still unlocked because the splash screen had turned black again ??? Please reply, thanks in advance.
