l09 tl10 ...

just so say, this helped me and it works..

It detected a trojan here... anyone else?
HEUR/QVM41.1.Malware.Gen detected.

no trojan here...at least not on my part...i think that it is flase positive as the EXE tries to run and extract some data and then run DOS window program...you can assume it is safe...I did on saturday this and my pc is OK and phone is too...
PS: also a question to the author - is then my Phone rooted also with this custom recovery or I have to do some additional step?

Works perfectly. I just updated TWRP to 2.8.7.0 with it... Thanks a lot!

It's good for Lollipop 5.1.1 B317?

Will this stock lollipop recovery work on official lollipop b324? Or do we have to wait for an updated version? Or is the update server side?

use this tool / recovery twrp 5.1

Can wholeheartedly confirm the fact that this is NOT a virus. Thank you for this! I've used it multiple times to go back to stock recovery since you can't do any official updates/downgrades while on twrp.
So again, thanks!

FYI, worked on my TL00 as well. Add that model to the list in the description

sorry to ask

If you are an advanced user and you have adb installed, then open command prompt, connect your smartphone to your PC (USB debugging should be enabled). Now, reboot your phone in bootloader mode (adb reboot bootloader) and type the command 'fastboot oem get-lockstate'. If the response is 'unlocked', then that means that your bootloader is already unlocked.
If your bootloader is locked, Here are the steps to unlock bootloader below.
Section 1: Things that you need first:
a) Your IMEI number: write it down by dialing *#06# on your Huawei smartphone OR go to Settings -> Status -> IMEI
b) Your Product ID: write it down by dialing *#*#1357946#*#* on your Huawei smartphone
c) Serial number: On your smartphone, go to Settings -> Status -> Serial Number
Section 2: Getting the Bootloader code from HUAWEI's web site
Once you have the above things, using the Google Chrome browser, visit the following link below to get your Bootloader Unlock Code.
a) Please visit the link: www.emui.com/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail (Wait for the page to fully load first and don't hush) - If you are using Chrome, right click on a blank space and select "Translate to English"
b) At the bottom of the page, check the checkbox and click on the wide gray button below (don't worry about the chinese language or use 'Translate to English' option on Chrome)
c) You will now be taken to login page - Register a new ID by clicking on the link in dark-amber color at the bottom right, which will read "免费注册 >>"
d) Now on the next page, click on the first grey-color tab that shows a smartphone (It will show "电子邮箱注册" - in English, it will read 'email address')
e) Type your email, password, repeat the password and the security code that's displayed on right. Check the checkbox and click on the GREEN color button 'Sign up now'
f) You will now receive an activation email on your email inbox. From the email, activate your HUAWEI acount
h) After activation, come back to the link www.emui.com/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail and follow step (b) above
i) If it shows a form with many drop down options, skip to next step. Otherwise, login with your new user id and password
j) On this page, from the first drop-down, select the 2nd option (In English, it will read 'smartphone')
k) In the 2nd drop-down, scroll down and select the model of your Huawei smartphone (e.g. MT7 TL00 or MT7 TL10 etc)
l) Now type down your Serial Number and IMEI that you noted above and enter the correct verification code, as shown on right and click on the green button (submit)
m) If you did everything correctly, it will give you the bootloader unlock code
Section 3: UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER
a) If you don't already have the ADB tools, search for ADB tools (version 1.4.2), download and install on your PC.
b) On your smartphone's settings, enable USB debugging (go to Settings -> About and tap multiple times on BUILD NUMBER until it says 'You are now a developer'. Then in 'Developer options', enable 'USB Debugging')
c) Connect your Mate 7 to your PC and look at your smart phone and (a) Roll down the notification window and select 'Connect as MTP device' and (b) On your smartphont, when the prompt about USB debugging comes, tap on 'Allow USB Debugging from this PC'.
d) Now on your PC, open Windows Explorer, go to C:\ADB (If ADB is installed in environment variables, any folder will be okay) . Now, while holding the Shift Key, right click anywhere on a blank space and select 'Open command window here'
f) Now type 'adb devices' and hit Enter key. --> This should list your device with the serial number. If it does not list, then either USB debugging is disabled or usb devices are outdated - In this case, install HUAWEI USB device drivers
g) Now type 'adb reboot bootloader' and wait for your smartphone to reboot into bootloader mode
h) Now type 'fastboot devices' and hit <Enter> key (this should list your smartphone)
i) Now type 'fastboot oem unlock <your bootloader unlock code>' and hit <Enter> key
j) Wait for a few seconds and the response should be 'Done..... '
Your bootloader is now unlocked!

If the blue led lights up then it's pointless trying to unlock it again. Flash whatever it is you unlocked your boot loader for and report back. And in future make your screen shots bigger.

You're doing it wrong!
You hold the menu key!
I hold to unlock the bootloader menu ..
Right at the bottom.
but can not, as I have shown with the photo.
if I install the kernel and go into recovery with volume down button, nothing happens.
if I type in the phone * # * # 7378423 # * # *, under Bootloader unlock allowed says yes
P.s. regarding the video do the same passage ..
To unlock bootloader I did this:
First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your phone by checking the service menu. In your phone, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu.
In your phone, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.
On your computer, click Continue at the bottom of this page to start the unlock boot loader process.
Read through the information in the pop up window and click Yes, I’m sure, if you are still confident you want to unlock the boot loader.
Read through and accept the legal terms. Click I Accept.
Enter your name, email address and the first 14 digits (remove the last digit) of your phone’s IMEI number. Click Submit. You can view the IMEI number by entering *#06# on your phone.
The unlock boot loader key is displayed. Write it down and save it for later use.
Download and install the latest Android SDK from developer.android.com.
Download and unzip this file. This is the standard android_winusb.inf-file, with a few lines of code added to enable Fastboot to support Sony and Sony Ericsson devices. Make sure you are running Google USB Driver package revision 4 or higher in your Android SDK. You can see current Google USB Driver package revision in the SDK Manager.
Place the unzipped file in the usb_driver folder, located in the Android SDK > extras > google folder on your computer. Accept to replace the old android_winusb.inf-file with the new file. If you can't find the usb_driver folder, please install the Google USB Driver Packager using the Android SDK manager.
Turn off your phone.
On your phone, push and hold the unlock button* at the same time as you connect the phone to the computer with a USB-cable. The unlock button may differ between different phone models. See the note in the bottom of this page for more information on what button use on your phone.
On your computer, you will be asked for drivers. Point to the usb_driver folder where you placed the android_winusb.inf-file, and select the Android Boot loader Interface-file.
Open a command window and go to the tools folder within the Android SDK folder.
Enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version, and verify that you get a response back (for example "0.3"). This means your phone is connected properly.
Warning! If you perform this step, you will unlock the boot loader. This may void your warranty and/or any warranty from your operator. If you still want to unlock the boot loader of your phone, enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY, where KEY is the unlock boot loader key you got in the beginning of this instruction. The boot loader should now be successfully unlocked.
per cambiare kernel ho fatto questo :
Download the latest version of the rom.
Copy the zip file downloaded to the phone's SD card.
Open the downloaded zip file from step 1 on your computer and extract the boot.img file from inside the zip to the tools folder in your ADB on your computer.
Boot into fastboot mode on your phone. To do this, turn off the phone. Then, while holding the Menu button, connect the USB cable to the phone.
Now flash the boot.img (this is the kernel that are required to update the ROM) with fastboot by typing the following command:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
* or if the previous command does not work, then enter the following command:
fastboot-i 0x0fce flash boot boot.img
After the flash is complete, disconnect the phone from the computer.
Now, start the recovery ClockworkMod on your phone. To do this, turn on the phone, then wait for the blue LED to illuminate. Once you see the blue LED lit, enter the return key on the phone to enter CWM. In recovery, use the volume keys to move up and down and the home button to select the options.
I also followed the video you posted ..
but nothing to do ..
could you advise me ?

Sorry but I think you´re in the wrong section here. this is the Moto G 2014 (titan) thread. So it should be moved to the Moto G 2015 section. Or, as the process is similar, the thread could be renamed.
Also it should be posted in Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting not in Andoid Development.

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED BEFORE DOING THIS OR YOU WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE
Fastboot roms are flashed through a special tool by xiaomi which can be found: here
You also might need adb drivers which are found: here
1. Open the drivers file and click "y" for every option that it asks for.
1. Install the fastboot tool tool
2. Download the fastboot rom that you wanna flash
3. Unzip the rom to a folder on your pc
4. Open the tool and in bottom right corner there will be 3 options, select "clean all"

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
1. Waiting time to unlock the bootloader
Q. If I receive the message: "unlocking can be done after 72h or 168h or 360h etc.". Is there a way to skip this waiting time?
A: Unfortunately you have to wait for that time to pass. There’s no way around it (that I know of). It seems like new and never used (to unlock bootloader) accounts receive a shorter waiting time.
2. Unlock procedure stops at 99%
Q: If my unlock procedure stops at 99%, what could be the problem?
A: Most problay you're using two different Xiaomi accounts. You have to use the same account that you have added into the device also in the unlock tool otherwise it will not work.
3. Recommended ad-blocker (for rooted devices)
Q: I want to block the advertisement in all apps, what app can you recommend?
A: If you decide to root your device, then you can install AdAway from here: https://adaway.org/. In order for AdAway to work properly please add in the Magisk App the Systemless Hosts (Magisk/Settings/Systemless Hosts).
4. Retaining the root after ROM update
Q: If I root my device as per point C, E of the AiO and I install a system update in my device, is the root still available?
A: Unfortunately root will be removed after the system update. So you have to repeat the procedure in point C, E.

0. Please don't quote the entire Post no 1 because this thread becomes too long.
1. I'd recommend to go to Xiaomi.eu, first page, they explained very well the differences between MIUI and Xiaomi.eu.
2. Without unlocked bootloader you can't make any system modifications. That's why i started the thread with "unlock the bootloader" (Point B). Ok, i updated Point C.

Hi. Can you provide a link to ofox recovery?
Hello.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I have done everything you indicated. I am able to click on the UNLOCK button, and it starts the process. Still, when it reaches 99%, it stops and gives me an error message: "Please add your account in MIUI's Settings > Developer options > Mi Unlock status", I did it and the phone showed me that the account was added successfully, but when I retry, it shows the same message again.
Any clue?
Thanks again.

Are you using the latest version of the app ? it is - 6.6.510.37 ... check if that is the case.
(as of 25th May 2023)
Hello. Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I am using the latest version of the app.
I bought this phone (Redmi Note 12 Turbo) in Mainland China, but I do not live there. I just want to install the Global ROM, so I can make the most of the phone in my country and besides I do not need the Chinese apps that come installed.
It seems like the phone does not really get added to my Xiaomi account.
I tried another app to unlock the bootloader, but no success either.

You have to use the same account that you have added into the device also in the unlock tool otherwise it will not work. See also point B.6. in Post #1.
Since this question is made by more users, I just updated Post #2, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), answering this question as well.
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I am using the same account in both, the unlock tool and the phone. Actually, the process begins normally and reaches 99%, but then does not work. I am using Windows 11.
I feel the pone slower after unlock bootloader and install lastest stable eu rom, anyone with the same result?
Can anyone tell me what is the code and version of the original rom come with it?
Thanks in advance

u can try factory resetting the phone and trying again.
NOTE :- You need to turn off wifi and have a sim with data enabled. (I will suggest you create a new account and use your moblie number as login NOT email). If it still doesn't work maybe contact Xiaomi .

I installed via fastboot.
I use universal android debloater (https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater) to debloat - all apps listed are uninstalled.
I use Opencalc from F-Droid to replace MIUI Calculator and Simple notes to replace MIUI Notes.
I would highly suggest you check what I have disabled since you may use some of the apps removed.
Make sure you are not logged into your Xiaomi account when you debloat, as I have uninstalled it and doing so while logged in will cause a bootloop.
