I installed 4.0.2 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394051
And since I did, the Market keeps Force Closing. I can open the market, browse, search etc, but as soon as I try to open an app/book/film to see the details, I get a Force Close - "Unfortunately, Market has stopped". I tried clearing data, clearing cache, also tried clearing dalvik, fix permissions and cache partition in CWM, but still no joy.
I then installed several other 4.0.2 ROMs - the MCR, bigxie's 4.0.2, and a stock deodexed one and all are giving the same problem. I don't really want to go back to 4.0.1.
Can anybody suggest anything?

If it was just a bad flash when you wipe the data/cache/dalvik cache and reflash apex it should fix itself...also keep in mind you need to flash 4.0.3 GAPPS immediately after flashing, before reboot
i didnt do a full wipe i only did a cache and dalvik wipe , i did install the 4.0.03 gapps right away before restarting.

You really do need to wipe data coming from a different ROM and/or android version most of the time. If you don't apps can and will crash
i came from the same rom just 2 versions older i think the bigxie 4-2 or something , im still having issues with the market it was working fine after i reinstalled the rom but now it keeps doing the same

Have you flashed Gapps after flashing CM9 ?
If not you can get it here:
http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip
and have it flashed.

have you cleared cache partition, dalvik cache and wiped data properly....
Did you wipe the dalvik cache and perform a factory reset?
If not, that's probably what you need to do, CM9 kept force closing everything and it fixed itself when I did these.
Hope I helped :fingers-crossed:

go to 'advanced' option on cwm and select 'wipe dalvic-cache'.

Thanks..did that and worked well till last day, but the in the evening I again got same error
Don't know what to do...
hmmm...
The only thing I can think of is to free up some RAM, maybe they're force closing due to not enough being avaliable.
Try to kill some ram hungry apps,
Go to
-Settings
-Apps
-Scroll to Running
-Kill them.
I just flashed TWRP 2.3.1 and installed a new rom (ptmr3's koodo 4.04 v4). I wiped factory reset, wiped system, then installed rom, wiped cache and dalvik, but when I went to fix permissions I got an error message saying that fix permissions had failed because it could not be done after a factory reset.
????
Should I reboot and fix permissions after the 10 minutes original reboot/load, or just leave things as they are?

Thanks, so it is better to fix permissions after reboot?
I did not do so, and all programs seem to be working OK. Perhaps because I did factory reset before re-installing a ROM, that did set the premissions already and did not need re-fixing?
I am running fastdream v6 rom on my sm-t210, everything works fine except for whenever I try to do anything on fd settings I get the message "unfortunately fd settings has stopped". Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks
You're lucky, i can't even install this on my T310.

I'm using philz touch recovery and I just selected 'clean install' before I installed the rom. I wiped dalvik cache too before I installed the rom.
