Nimbuzz WM6

Hello
There are maby some nimbuzz users!
I have problems with the sound in susppent (standby) mode!
The nimbuzz clinte didn't make any sound by incomming message or call!
maby this problem is only under WM6.1
Fix:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Stat\Resuming]
wav1: cange from 4 to 0 (maby you don't have to change this...)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Stat\Unattended]
wav1: cange from 4 to 0
and after this the nimbuzz clinte is running in Stadby mode

Hello!!! I want to change the alert sound for Nimbuzz [windows mobile 6.1]. He has 2 sounds. I have found the first sound in windows/default.wav. I can't find the second sound. Plese help me! 10x!!!

voice annoucement for caller ID

Hello again
And again I have a question - is there application that would speak me the name of the person calling me? I mean that if John calls me it would ring, ring.. john.. ring, ring
Voice Command does not work on X1 for this feature
Voice2go is useless too, because when it launches it takes over my speaker, and only after turning it off manually it can speak normally. beseide of that - i rly do not like that app :/
So can anyone give some advice?

actually voice command is working now with the announce caller if you have the latest valkyrie rom installed

I may be wrong but I think that voice for caller announcement has never worked with WM6.1...

True - it did not worked :/
There was a trick on forum, that made it work on some ROM's - the needed to disable skins for phonepad and it worked.
But it does not makes the trick for me :/
Any more sugestions

did you check the box in the options to use it on the speaker too?
otherwise it works with the headset only (didn't try that).
but you have to disable the dailer skin either way.
ps: there is a thread about that already which is half a year old or something (-> search).

Yeap, I've disabled the option in Advanced Configuration Tool:
Phone -> Phone skin: Disabled.
And it did not worked... I've made the use speaker too option enabled.
So is there any program that really can do it?
Besid the fact that both - xperia and WM dialer is ugly as hell :/ I prefer really the Phonex one

ok my mates just got a LG GM750 and it must be the worst WM6.5 device ever, i hate it to the core and my mates always having issues and wanting me to solve them, ok i need help on a few things
1) the UI is c*** and i can turn most of it off like the home screen stuff but the other stuff like the weird SMS/EMAIL/MMS theme they added just takes the piss, to send a message u have to navigate though 3-6pages of c*** to open a message or read oen or send one, id like to disable it completely and use the default windows mobile version is their a way
2) is their any LIGHT roms as this rom he has from vodaphone comes with no kiddin approx 100mb of s*** installed by default and its pointless
3) is their any way to add the htc sense ui with the htc messaging to this phone

I don't know about the phone. Probably difficult to disable their stuff. Maybe there are some DLL re-directions in the registry? Try compare anything SMS, Tmail etc. related with another device. Probably you gonna go through few hard resets. maybe it's not even possible since I assume they also got their s**t deep in the OS like HTC, Samsung, etc.
LG != HTC so I doubt it's possible to just cook a new lite (or Sense-UI) ROM.

Maybe you can try and search some freeware applications that provide a replacement for the stuff you want to get rid of, and maybe they're able to overwrite it.

I also bought this phone.. and i really hate it too.. i can't believe i gave so much money for something that is such a piece of cr*p...
if somebody can find how to just make it winmo 6.5 without all the stupid no-good UI on top of it, please tell me..

The only thing that remains if you disable the lg menu is the sms/mms thing.
This fixes easily with a registry editor.
Here is the fix for lg messaging app:

LGEUMS.dll --- change DLL to "htmlnote.dll"
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SI\

Does anyone know how to stop the LG notification for new email and SMS? I prefer the original MS notifications.

hklm/software/lge/apps/initapp ... did not test but there u can find "lgenotifi.exe". This exe is the popup from lg. try to remove or rename this and may it stops.

My SMS message dates are showing up as GMT. Outlook, clock, calendar etc are all showing local time as they should.
Anyone experienced this?

I did the registry change. However, when I receive a message, the lg embedded software is automatically activated as the default message receiver to show the new message. What can I do to get rid of it eventually?

This can be easily change at the sms notitification settings on lg messanger app.

does somebody know how to get the landscape view for sms on the windows sms thing? i replaced the lg sms by the windows sms thing, but now i don't have landscape mode for sms, and i kinda miss it

Hi guys!
I'm struggling to like my new GM750. I'd like to disable the caller id skin (so that I can use e.g. S2U2). But If I disable it by modifying HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Enabled, the dialer skin is also removed. And I happen to like that one better than the default WM dialer (which lacks video call). Is there a way to only disable the caller ID skin and keep the LG dialer?
The flashing LED while in standby is a feature I loved in my HTC Trinity. There is still no way to fix it in GM750?

on my gm750 the led only shines when im loading my battery or in some applications..
idk how to do it sry..

Major problem with this fix. MMS messages no longer work!
For those of you who use MMS leave the default values on MsgTypes\IPM\MMS\ (I haven't tested this yet but it should work)
P.S. LG Messaging software sucks

can't get sound on new sms

when i get i new sms the the notice sound didn't work.i get sms with no sound at all even when i define it in setting.i flashed xanny 1.9 rom.it's the same problem on the earlier roms

Have you installed a new dialer or taskbar? these can play havoc with the sound files. If so, try uninstalling to see if this resolves the problem.

No new taskbar and no new dialer ... juste few programs :
Max Manilla v2.82, G-Alarm, Spb BackUp, Tomtom and CorePlayer

I usually have the same problem after installing an additional Language interface in a new ROM.
My solution (95%) is to install "SmileySMS "

thanks for the information. I tried to install it. It seems to work fine for the sound, but there is an enormous vibration... So I tried to configure SMSSmiley. I installed the 1.66, 1.68 and each time, I had a problem, I can't save the configuration under WinMo 6.5.3, there is no way to validate.

I edit a key in the registry for suppress vibration
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Roozbeh GHolizadeh Softwares\SmileySMS:Vibrate
value set to 0

I got the same problem, driving the blackdragon 1.9, weird. And yes of course I have checked the boxes in sound and notifications.
Edit: So I've read that the issue appears when one uses the manilla language manager (which I did), however no fix has been reported yet.

The method describe there is working on my HD ... and I confirm that I used MLM ...

Can we change these replay somewhere in the registry ? or edit some file ???
