Can anyone port the new S-Pen Aircommand Design from the Note 5 to the Note Edge?
Considering almost no development for our phones I say chances are slim

I have tried it but i don't know what to do.
Its on the Note 4 now...I tried to flash it but nothing...I just ran a bootloop...so I flashed my current backup back...I did find the screen write apk on here...the one where you can write on a black screen and save the Note...thats pretty cool
I wish I could develop because my NOTE EDGE gets NOOOOO love and its the best phone out still!!!

It's been done for Note 4. Tried on 915G stock rooted 5.0.1 but couldn't get it to work.
Lots of people using modded roms on Note Edge have reported success though.

Hi. Which modded Edge roms did it work on? I tried it on TEKHD's Note 4 port for tmobile with no success. My guess is that rom has a heavily modded system on it so something more needs to be done to get it to work. Though I don't know for sure...

Ok. I tried it on TEKHD's Note Edge rom and I find, like many others that Action Memo fails. The rest works. My guess is that the same problem exists for the Note 4 port. Hopefully someone figures it out...

For action memo failure you have to install the modded SNote. It's there in the OP of the link I mentioned earlier.
If that doesn't work guess you can ask the Dev.

On my Note 4 port the Snote APK is in a folder caled SNote4.1Preload
So I went into the folder and deleted the SNote.apk and continued with OP's instructions.
Is this correct? Or should I just delete the folder and reboot and install the new apk.
I could also try simply replacing apks and changing permissions then rebooting.
Any thoughts?

I did it and tried everything for 3 days....and the Action Memo just will not work with Teks Rom... I'm dying to get it fixed

That whole delete SNote thing...I did it tgat way and I even tried making a folder for the apk with the permissions needing to be redone etc....and nothing...but everything else works and works great

Well, I never even got the aircommand working, so not qualified to answer ☺
From what I saw on the Note 4 thread, either it works or it doesn't. So sorry, no ideas apart from checking the permissions etc once again.

I downloaded this (https://m.app.box.com/view_shared/7v1hmerdjdtwj660moyu) from SungSonic v4, is the camera of Note 3.
i deleted the points (samsungcamera2.apk.. -> samsungcamera2.apk) and i moved to system/app, checked the permissions (rw-rw-r) and rebooted.
restart the phone and open the camera is always the same, the default of 2 notes.
what i do wrong?

I got it to work! I ported SungSonic V4 on my i317. The YT video is misleading, he only took one photo, and that was on auto. Not all the camera features work. I am not sure even if the video works.

I have note i317m android 4.3 thanks.
I didn't install only the apk. I installed the entire rom. Additionally, because the rom is built for N7000 a lot of other items on my phone didn't work on my i317 (e.g. radio, pen, wi-fi, and etc.)
Can i have it or is only yours?

Yes I flashed V4. Again, this is a N7000 rom. Install at your own risk. I replaced the radio. Debloated some system files due to FC's, and used DrKetan Multitool to root and fix wifi. Still no phone or s-pen working.

This is how I was able to get mms working after flashing Note 3 features zip .
After flashing your preferred 4.3 ROM, use a root accessible file explorer(I use root explorer), go to Root/System/app... scroll down to SecMms.apk, copy and paste to int/ext memory. Flash the Note 3 Features zip...Flash the AirCommand icon fix zip.
Once phone has rebooted and is running take the original SecMms.apk you copied (from the 4.3 ROM you originally flashed)and push to System/app. Fix permissions rw/r/r, reboot. Let phone start up then send an mms to yourself or anyone else. Have them send one back.
It won't be the Note3 mms but it works and still allows you to keep the rest of the Note3 features with AirCommand.

My bad...that ROM I believe has the Note 3 features baked in. You would have to dl a 4.3 ROM that does not have those features already in it.

Which Synergy ROM did you flash? The latest r3 ALREADY has the Note 3 features baked in...so if you flashed Synergy r3 then flashed the Note 3 features...that's why.Just flash the ROM itself let it boot then try the Note 3 features. If Air Command icons show and the other Note 3 features that are available for our phones work then don't flash anything else.

Been trying to port it since the update and non of them work on the l900 nor installing the apks forced I keep getting tw failed gapps failed etc.. ?

Huh? This mms fix is for sprint. Not sure why your gapps failed. Just copy downloaded apk to system/app using root explorer, fix permissions...reboot. Done!

Sorry I misread I been yrying to fimd the correct port mod mk4 note 3 for galaxyn2 l900 I did that I opened up the zips when installing failed and tried using root explorer fixed pms and reboot but nogo im giving up also I have to be deodex todo it but even than idk anyone are read on anyone l900 with all the gn3 goodies

Oh, yeah, no, that's not a flashable ZIP. It won't harm anything if you do, it will just fail right away. You would need root privileges and move them into /system/priv-app and change permissions to rw-r--r--. I suppose I could make a flash able zip, if it actually works on other devices.

There is NO SecLauncher.apk at all - "Touchwiz" launcher app was renamed to MagazineLauncher.apk (included).
I have deodexed whole rom for my own purposes, however, dont have a bandwidth to upload them all. If you want some certain apks feel free to ask.
Thanks for posting the launcher. It runs smoother than the stock n10.1 2014 launcher.
Is there another apk in the system files that has the actual magazine ux panels? Cause the launcher posted lacks the magazine ux stuff. Thanks!

I can't find it from the names themselves (+ I have deleted touchwiz and a lot of bloatware at all! using custom launcher... I have deodexed apks but hard to try them out...)
But... aren't the magazine panels related to Flipboard app in any way? Hmmm? As someone noticed, it's the same engine.... And the Flipboard app provided along with N12.2 seem to be regular - ie. not modified in any way - Fliboard app which you can find @gplay. I may be wrong of course...

This is FLASHABLE. It removes MagazineLauncher.apk, MagazineWidget.apk, and their respective odex files (if present). Then installs the deodexed APKs to /system/priv-app.
I have tested it myself and can confirm that it works.

Sorry Sir, but I made everything that is written here and checked 3 times,still it doesn't work. I even tried to load Note 10.1 keyboard and It doesn't work also.
I can add that I had problem with reinstalling stock rom. At the end it showed "odin: invalid ext4 image". I tried to load rom from different site it was the same. I also tried to load rom from different region, same. System didn't star at first, but after loading CF autoroot it started. Can it be connected? System works flawless, the only problem is keyboard. I really like stock samsung keyboard and would like to keep it.
Does someone have any ideas?

I download this rom and I don't like it
1.> S note is not working (whether you delete snote folder or format your internal storage)
2.> camera is blurry
3.> some features like screen off but you can write working on Heavy de-bloater but not work on light de-bloater
4.> Viper4android not worked

I've been on the Kyubi Rom light since the bootloader unlock became available.
1. SNote does work
2. Screen off writing does work.
3. Camera takes perfect pictures.
4. I don't do any of the sound mods so I can't answer to that.

Same here. I have had no problems with this ROM whatsoever

1. 》SnOTE will work if you remove old directory or format Internal storage
2.》I am using heavy de-bloated version and I didn't work then I switched normal no de bloated it will work
3.》camera have issue
4.》If you flash busy box at time of flashing Rom vipers4android will work (tested)
5.》I am facing huge battery % drop after 35% any idea tried all versions of this Rom
