Galaxy S2 - 4.2 Photosphere and Gallery FULLY WORKING

A Fully Working Jelly Bean 4.2 Camera (with Photosphere) and Gallery (with Editing)
After much work, here's a fully working app.
Tested on the Galaxy S2 GT-I9100. (Also suitable for the International Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note)
Just flash the attached ZIP file Camera_4.2_GT-I9100-rishtrix.zip
This does not require copying of files to system libraries, editing and setting permissions. Its Simple, JUST FLASH it !!
Obviously, this requires a deodexed rooted phone with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and up
Flash the file via Recovery.
Hit the THANKS button if you like my Post. and let me know in case of any issues.

Yes this should work on CM10 - 4.1.2
It will not replace the original app. It will create another camera app and another gallery app.
The best part is you can use whichever you want.

Yes at the moment video recording is a bit of an issue.
But since it creates a separate camera app, you can always use the stock camera for video recording and this one for Photosphere and Gallery Editing.
At least Photosphere now easily works on Galaxy S2 !!!

Doesn't work for me, photosphere works partially, it is discalibrated, can't hit blue point.
Any solution?

This should work if flashed correctly. It requires the use of the gyroscope.
Check if thats working fine and calibrate your device.
As of now, it has been tested on Galaxy S2 and works fine for many users. Which device are you using ?

I've calibrated my Galaxy S2 and still does not work.
Maybe im doing something wrong with flashing, but application open's it's like gyroscope doesnt work correctly.

Always get suspicious when a new registered (jan 2013) user claims to have something finally working and have stuff to download and install. Be vary with files you download and install on your phone/computer. If this turns out to be a real thing then thanks and props to you OP but understand my suspicion.

Dude only photosphere has been working since ages, video recording was broken. I posted it, KNTXtreme posted it.

I have use it in November...

Flashed. I only have one camera, oroginal is no longer in app drawer

Working MMS after flashing Note 3 Features zip

This is how I was able to get mms working after flashing Note 3 features zip .
After flashing your preferred 4.3 ROM, use a root accessible file explorer(I use root explorer), go to Root/System/app... scroll down to SecMms.apk, copy and paste to int/ext memory. Flash the Note 3 Features zip...Flash the AirCommand icon fix zip.
Once phone has rebooted and is running take the original SecMms.apk you copied (from the 4.3 ROM you originally flashed)and push to System/app. Fix permissions rw/r/r, reboot. Let phone start up then send an mms to yourself or anyone else. Have them send one back.
It won't be the Note3 mms but it works and still allows you to keep the rest of the Note3 features with AirCommand.

So this would fix the MMS issue with SyngergyRom r3?

I flashed Team Venom mK4 ROM and these are the steps I did and it worked. When you flash the Note 3 zip the SecMms.apk is like 10.4 mbs but the original one for 4.3 for our phone is only 5+mbs. Hopefully it works for you as it did me. Just try and see.

My bad...that ROM I believe has the Note 3 features baked in. You would have to dl a 4.3 ROM that does not have those features already in it.

Worked for me on synergy r3 thanks for sharing

Which Synergy ROM did you flash? The latest r3 ALREADY has the Note 3 features baked in...so if you flashed Synergy r3 then flashed the Note 3 features...that's why.Just flash the ROM itself let it boot then try the Note 3 features. If Air Command icons show and the other Note 3 features that are available for our phones work then don't flash anything else.

could someone please post note 3 features zip. Cant find it. Would really appreciate it thanks

What do you mean Push? Do I need to use ADB or can I just use file explorer and move it back to the correct location?

Hey witch one did you try and methods im mk4 rooted tw
Been trying to port it since the update and non of them work on the l900 nor installing the apks forced I keep getting tw failed gapps failed etc.. ?

Huh? This mms fix is for sprint. Not sure why your gapps failed. Just copy downloaded apk to system/app using root explorer, fix permissions...reboot. Done!

Sorry I misread I been yrying to fimd the correct port mod mk4 note 3 for galaxyn2 l900 I did that I opened up the zips when installing failed and tried using root explorer fixed pms and reboot but nogo im giving up also I have to be deodex todo it but even than idk anyone are read on anyone l900 with all the gn3 goodies

Can anyone port the new S-Pen Aircommand Design from the Note 5 to the Note Edge?

Its on the Note 4 now...I tried to flash it but nothing...I just ran a bootloop...so I flashed my current backup back...I did find the screen write apk on here...the one where you can write on a black screen and save the Note...thats pretty cool

It's been done for Note 4. Tried on 915G stock rooted 5.0.1 but couldn't get it to work.
Lots of people using modded roms on Note Edge have reported success though.

Hi. Which modded Edge roms did it work on? I tried it on TEKHD's Note 4 port for tmobile with no success. My guess is that rom has a heavily modded system on it so something more needs to be done to get it to work. Though I don't know for sure...

Ok. I tried it on TEKHD's Note Edge rom and I find, like many others that Action Memo fails. The rest works. My guess is that the same problem exists for the Note 4 port. Hopefully someone figures it out...

For action memo failure you have to install the modded SNote. It's there in the OP of the link I mentioned earlier.
If that doesn't work guess you can ask the Dev.

Hi, Thanks. I had tried it but it didn't work. Maybe I did not do it correctly. The OP says
"Find and Delete the SNote APK file from system/app folder then reboot"
On my Note 4 port the Snote APK is in a folder caled SNote4.1Preload
So I went into the folder and deleted the SNote.apk and continued with OP's instructions.
Is this correct? Or should I just delete the folder and reboot and install the new apk.
I could also try simply replacing apks and changing permissions then rebooting.
Any thoughts?

I did it and tried everything for 3 days....and the Action Memo just will not work with Teks Rom... I'm dying to get it fixed

That whole delete SNote thing...I did it tgat way and I even tried making a folder for the apk with the permissions needing to be redone etc....and nothing...but everything else works and works great

Well, I never even got the aircommand working, so not qualified to answer ☺
From what I saw on the Note 4 thread, either it works or it doesn't. So sorry, no ideas apart from checking the permissions etc once again.

I download this rom and I don't like it
1.> S note is not working (whether you delete snote folder or format your internal storage)
2.> camera is blurry
3.> some features like screen off but you can write working on Heavy de-bloater but not work on light de-bloater
4.> Viper4android not worked
5.> If you apply sound patch which is " Rom Features " my friend unable to hear my voice (when calling)
It give you experience of note 5 but look like skinned but not perfectly needs more improvement .

I've been on the Kyubi Rom light since the bootloader unlock became available.
1. SNote does work
2. Screen off writing does work.
3. Camera takes perfect pictures.
4. I don't do any of the sound mods so I can't answer to that.

Is this for N915S? because I read that you are using N915F which I assume is a Snapdragon variant. I am using an Exynos Variant

I picked all these files from Snapdragon stock rom. I'm not sure but the camera is as same as Exy so u can give a try. I think it will help you out

No, this is an issue because Note 4 has a bit smaller screen resolution than Note Edge, but I have 3 solutions for you;
1. You could use another camera app (for example, Google Camera or something else),
2. You could remove Note 7 camera and flash Note 4/Edge camera,
3. You could go to this link to extend your current (Note 7) camera.

I have flashed this camera over custom rom but am still getting the camera shifted to the edge side and black bar on the left, and the touch is also shifted a bit.

Will this work with Note Edge 915F with AOKP Custom Rom 7.1.2???

I just flashed it thru TWRP in my the Note Edge 915F with AOKP custom rom 7.1.2.
The app does not open. Is there a way to make it work, or if this cannot be, can somebody help me uninstall what I flashed?
I just don't like bringing with me apps I cannot use and waste of space.
