Q/A
How I can know if I have KK bootloader?
If you are using a stock LP rom with TWRP recovery working then you already have KK bootloader, if not Just use AutoRec V2 to have it.
Can I upgrade to this ROM from another LP ROM?
Yes, but only if is stock lp based rom, if not I recommend that you upgrade to the latest KDZ / tot first, then make root, then install TWRP (AutoRec V2) and flash a Lp stock based ROM.
Can I make a dirty installation of the ROM?
You can make a dirty installation if you are using an earlier version, if there is any fault, you must do a clean install before reporting a failure.
Can I flash a kernel modified?
Sure, you can use any modified kernel for the Stock LP ROM.

I don't think LP bootloader might be installed : if I'm right, the only bootloaders that allowed us to install custom ROMS are the JellyBean and Kitkat's ones. But LP BOOTSTACK might be needed for the installation.

DT2W working ? Thanks for the new rom
Is it possible to run on the D803 using the kernel CloudyG2?
It is necessary to change something in the kernel?
I installed this for D802 with problems. If you wipe system you cant flash Rom, because there is a script error. I dont know how i succeeed but i installed finally. I dont think this Rom is as fast as AOSP Roms. Some parts are chinese, no problem for me. With a free flyme account there are some free themes and other things to try.
If this rom is stock-based,then the installation procedure of the pre-rom files is just like on CloudyG2.

I dont understand how you can expect a stock based rom to be fast as an AOSP one.
It is still fast, smooth, and looks nice.
The fact with FlymeOS is:
The script error occurs because you did a full wipe(system, data, cache, dalvik).
Then you just have to reboot the recovery, and flash FlymeOS right away, and it will work.

In the OP, the only device currently supported is the D800, so, do not try on D803.

Best of my knowledge there's no way to test to see aside from trying to flash stuff. Its your phone, so you should know what is on it.

You can be sure if you flash the bootstack before. But cloudyg3 is a lollipop stock rom so it should work without flashing anything.
This rom is stock lollipop based .. And has the dorimnax kernel inclueded.. I could even update to latest dormimnax with no problems.
Here is the Official d802 build bbs.flyme.cn/thread-352223-1-1.html
u have to be on stock lollipop bootloader and baseband.. To flash it..
Also there is a Cm12 version out which has working DT2W
Just check up for 4.5.1.2 by nemo personal release..
Hope that helped a few...
Also there are a few more device versions out...
Big thanks to the original dev NEMO

Could we Have a HDR Camera?
-- im trying to get a HDR Camera mod but its quite hard to get what i want (most HDR cameras are slow and useless)
Could i use somethings from Your Rom in my ROM?
--You will have to Check up the Credits list to see who made what before you add it into your ROM
Can i Install with a locked bootloader
----yes
why is there 2 zips
---i dont have much online space, so it saves space + Some Services only allow uploads of less than 200mb, whole rom in 1 zip is about 430
if it says Debloated why is the Total Downlod Above 500mb
---Well in V2 we have compressed everthing alot more, you also have to rememebr that some of the file will overlap, so the size after install should be about 400MB (V2 of course not V1)
why is this rom so horrible
---i am technichly still a noob (-rgds Envious_data)

Stock KitKat Kernel
Info
You guys already know our G2's issue with LG's official KitKat upgrade. It forces us to use the new bootloader which is loki-killer, that means no custom recovery (CWM, TWRP, Philz), no custom kernel anymore. Right now there's no way to bypass that new bootloader in order to install those stuff. Anyway we still have a workaround to deal with that issue by patching the new kernel so it can work with the old bootloader (which still has loki support) thanks to @JackpotClavin, @Savoca, @xdabbeb
Upgrade to KitKat
For best experience with KitKat, you should follow these steps:
Upgrade to KitKat first (KDZ/TOT/OTA)
Root by ioroot25
Use AutoRec to have recovery
Then you can flash any ROM you like
*D801 must root before taking KitKat OTA
Return To JellyBean
It's real simple when you wanna return to your old ROM or your NAND backup (JB base). All you need is downloading the old JB Baseband and flash it, then your ROM / backup. You can find old JB Baseband here in @autoprime 's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451426
White lines issue
Some devices use different panel hardware (JDI instead of LGIT) and you will have white lines after using patched kernel. You must use those kernel with "_jdi" in its name. More info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52414185&postcount=122

A noob question, what if, after update to KK baseband an ROM, want to go back to JB.
Is it enough just to flash JB ROM/restore JB backup ROM or need to restore via download mode + JB's kdz file?
Quick question, since in the d803 canadian g2 on 4.2.2 i can flash tmo d801 basebands just fine and they work excellent, would it be a possibility for you to make a test d803 canada kitkat kernel so we can test with tmo 4.4 basebands?
Sent from my LG-D801 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Tried this with the G Pro 2 port. Works awesome! Uber stock Rom, root and recovery, can't be better.
So i just have to flash the KK Baseband ? ( I am on Philz with Stock 4.2.2 ) . Then just download any rom and flash via Philz ? and then i can go back to my nandroid of 4.2.2 ?
Do i need to flash the patched kernel as well ?
Question: when I have already 4.4.2 rooted I must go back to 4.2.2 and flash kit Kat with root and kernelpatch?
Send from G2 flex
Thanks a lot for this!
I guessing that if we flash one of the root patched Stock ROMs all we need do is flash the ROM, then the patched kernel, then reflash the recovery again. Once done it should all work as before?

Sorry to ask again: any change to get LS980 running with KK?
what i dont understand. in OP stand, at first to Flash the KK baseband.....
But when i Flash a kitkat Rom, the KK baseband will be installed automaticlly. Logical.
i write how i would Flash, maybe others correct my idea:
- stock 4.2.2 Rom
- root it
- Flash recovery
- install KK Rom (give enough on Forum)
- Flash the Special kernel.
- reboot
- Flash you recovery as u do it on 4.2.2
is that correct?
Step by step by this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666967

Nope, if you just flash your device's kdz (extracted system) or moded one, its not a problem. But it's a pain when dev wanna overwrite something in their flashable patch. Only Philz have no issue for KK right now.
@ ALL: If you're posting here asking for a guide, you're doing something very wrong, this thread aims to DEVs only. If your favourite DEV didnt upgrade his ROM to KK yet, or still using the new bootloader (lost recovery), you just need to point this thread to him so he can know all the needed info and update his new version with a working recovery and remove all useless parts inside.

About OmniROM
See what OmniROM is all about: http://omnirom.org/about/
What do you need
OmniROM is a custom ROM and to be able to install a custom ROM, you will need to unlock your bootloader. You can unlock your bootloader from the Asus website. Please be advised that you will loose your warranty.
You need to be on the latest 4.2 bootloader. If not please update to the lastest Asus stock ROM first, otherwise you might brick your TF300T!!!
To be able to install OmniROM you will need at least TWRP 2.8.5.0 or higher
You need to have TWRP or CWM installed
You will need a flashable GApps package
You need SuperSU if you want to have root access
See the Downloads part of this message for the needed packages
How to install
To install OmniROM please follow these instructions:
Flash the TWRP 2.8.5.0 (or higher)
Reboot into recovery
Do a factory reset / full wipe
Flash the OmniROM zip file, the GApps ZIP file and SuperSU ZIP file
Reboot the tablet and enjoy OmniROM

Seems to work really well from a quick play around. Thanks for this, only thing I noticed is there didn't appear to be a battery status for the keyboard dock
Edit: Attempting to swype on the stock keyboard also seems to crash the keyboard
WiFi also seems to turn off during sleep despite choosing to always keep WiFi on during sleep

What do you mean if there is a kernel for this ROM? Without kerel it would not even boot
If you mean a custom kernel? I do not know. Have a look around, but do not think there is a custom kernel for Omni.
If there is a good custom kernel, it needs the Omni ramdisk.

WELCOME TO CYANIDE L
ROM INFORMATION
ORIGINALLY based on CyanogenMod but not even close to being a CM base at this, this ROM is PACKED FULL of features from the wonderful custom ROM teams we have all come to know and love. This ROM is at a very stable and mature state at this point but I will continue to update frequently as things progress along even further into Lollipop and more features become available but GOOD LUCK trying to find features we don't support. I am OPEN to requests BUT PLEASE don't take it personal if your request isn't filled (doesn't happen often but I will only add things that I think somebody will find useful and worthwhile) as I am usually very busy and do this ALL myself, me, I LOL and my themer @TheGeekyNimrod of course but I have taken over theming duties as he has become very busy with life, school and his family but if it's theme related complain to him even tho I'm the one who made our latest theme engine apk LOL
IF you are using Xposed, do everyone a favor PLEASE and DO NOT post bug reports because we WILL laugh at you, in the forum, numerous times hahaha. Ok enought joking around, get to flashing already and let me know what you think, we both know you are sick or reading this at this point anyway. Hurry hurry!!!! Good things come faster to those who already have a backup LOL
PS: This Thread OP was copied from its source over at the AT&T Threads.

Update: I have Compiled the 5.0.2 version with no errors and booted with no problem.
This Rom Which is LP 5.1 is 330megs big, I installed on MultiRom as secondary on a 10 gig partition that I created and already have 6 other roms on.
It wouldnt get out of the boot loop for me. I tried injecting a Boo.img that I know for a fact works. and it still boot looped.
What im thinking is the MultiRom and running low on that 10gig partition, So im going to run some test and see.
Please Make a nandroid Backup if your going to try this rom, at least till I can confirm this Rom boots for people.
I am working on it. I kinda posted it prematurely But I dont know if its the ROM or my MultiRom setup.
Thats why Im going to Backup my PacROM and install as Primary and see if it works then...
If this doesnt boot for anyone. Then just give me time.. Ill get it working.
The rom was Built by @rogersb11 who is on the D850 series. so getting it to work for Ours should be no problem.
I have given him and @aclegg2011 access to make changes to this thread if needed.
PS: Update: The LP 5.0.2 Version does work.. The LP 5.1.X version doesnt get past the boot loop for me.
Clean flashed the LP 5.1.X version about 5 minutes ago and boot animation is still going on. Not running Multirom.
Shall wait for another couple of minutes and then try a working boot.IMG from another 5.1.1 ROM & see what happens.
Have about 4 boot.IMG's to play with.

I think I know what the problem was, So im doing a default build again.. same default settings as I did with the 5.0.2 version.
Hopefully that should work.
I hope you made a backup

Always a nandroid before playing with a new ROM (sometimes even when updating nightly upgrade of same ROM too).
On my 3rd boot.IMG file & looks like a no-go also.
Phone heats up a bit too.
Shall wait for your new build.
@Eliminater74
Is there a particular reason that the newest cyanide (cyanide-5.10-RC-10.5-d851.zip) on Androidhostfiles says.."DO NOT DOWNLOAD, NONE WORKING... or is that just a oooopsies?
What other boot might you have to flash over it as stated in OP?

Best to hold off on trying to flash that build, read Post #7 above.

if it stays cool, ill upload it and post the link.
Just check back here tomorrow.

its ready.
This ROM is SuhWeet! All the settings work. No FC like in 5.0.2.
Being chock-full of features there's little want for Xposed. Nice.
Sent from my LG-D851 using Tapatalk
I tried to run RC-8.0 but got consistent keyboard force closes. I will try the other build and see how that goes.
Edit: Also have this keyboard issue with RC 10.5.
Nobody else has this issue?

What is AOSP?
The Android Open Source Project is the original unmodified version of android. It's the base ROM that all other ROM's work on. There are a few changes from CAF (code aurora forums) and cyanogenmod to get this working for non-nexus devices like ours.
Bug list:
GPS & FM
What is working:
Media (IT IS FIXED) But Youtube can be dead
Audio (IT IS FIXED)
RIL (baseband) (IT IS FIXED)
Touchscreen xD
Image decoding
MTP
Webview
Camera
Sensors
Houdini (stable)
Wi-Fi
Rom features:
The main target of this rom is to provide opportunity to use custom roms for people, who have a screen freezes after bootloader unlock. (My AOSP rom use stock kernel)
First Lollipop AOSP rom
I used proprietary files from WW V3.24.40.87
I used device tree by quanganh2627 for building so this way community will get all fixes
How to flash it:
Step 1:
You should download files for flashing:
IMG file to flash it via drodiboot: (system_20032016.img)
XDA
Stock boot.img (boot_3.24.40.87.img)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=16818
ADB v1.0.32
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-Fin8UxrD6PUmN6SkVPMXR3UTA/view
Step 2:
1) Unpack archive with ADB and put image with rom and kernel there.
3) Then you should reboot your phone in the droidboot mode. (turn off you gadget then press Turn off button and volume + button)
Then go to the ADB folder and hold Shift + Right Mouse button and write this command:
Code:
Code:
fastboot flash system system_20032016.img
fastboot flash boot boot_3.24.40.87.img
Do not forget to wipe cache and data.

Good project thank you @tank0412
So this rom just 5.0 and cant update to 5.1.1 because u want to lock bootloader?
Great work again @tank0412 !
But I have question mark in my mind, which version of these AOSP roms will get stable release?

Nope.
Many users which have a screen freezes asked me to create a rom, where bootloader unlock is not needed.
So i published this rom for them,
Personally i prefer to use 5.1.1.. Moreover i plan to build AOSP 6.0 Marshmallow.
this AOSP is something like training for me.

RIL is a baseband.
Houdini is a virtual machine which is vital for x86 chips.
Rom is very unstable due to it so you can not use me rom for daily driver.
Please fix WiFi and RIL bugs, thank you for work.
