Since Andy left his port i decided to start here a thread so people outside of Portugal could try my port for Galaxy S.
This is my effort to maintain Galaxy S updated and running the gorgeous rom ever.

Installation
From Another Rom
Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
Do a Nandroid backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Reboot Recovery
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Update
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
Install the ROM from internal sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
NOTES:
Do last step twice may help sometimes
Nandroids from different CWM versions are incompatible due to partition layout changes. Please be on the correct version before restoring Nandroids.

My changelog is always just updated files from CM10 and sometimes bug fix's.
But weekly it's just MIUI.com changelog.
There is a link on the OP, but is portuguese.
For english version you can check here.

For now just english and portuguese.
My experience says people have a lot of problems with other languages.

Tips
Roms comes with Devil Kernel and with some default config /system/etc/init.d/51rtfpessoaSettings, if you want your own you need to remove the file and install a devil config app available in play store.

I tried CM10 and Devil kernel and worked i didn't tried any other, but if others are compatible with CM10 should work here too.
You need to remove the etc/init.d/* content and then install the kernel as you do with any other rom.

Permision manager FC for me. I tried fix permisions but still the same.

When reporting bugs try to me more specific, like, lang you are using, how it happend.
And if possible logcat.
I tried several ways and always worked here, no FC.
Tried EN e PT.
Tried activating root in the app manually and tried open root app and use root so it prompts if i want to activate root.
All worked fine.
Were you already on the new partition layout before come to this rom?
If not, try this:
Factory reset
Install rom
Reboot Recovery
Factory Reset
Install Rom
Should be fine as it is for me.
Maibe its just partition problem.

Chameleon OS (or ChaOS for short) is a custom Android ROM that gives the user more control than they can experience on any other Android ROM. Starting with a CyanogenMOD base, we customize each piece to give ultimate control while maintaining the simplicity we all love about Android. The most notable feature of ChaOS is the theme engine, which can apply different pieces of themes in a true mix-and-match style. Why should you choose nightly?
- Always the latest updates released every day
- Stable stock ChameleonOS device files
Why should you not use nightlies?
- TWRP is not included (CWM is)

If you come from a rom without CWM/TWRP recovery and don't have a recovery yet:
extract the boot.img from the package.
put boot.img in your fastboot directory.

@Fedr0 did you read the post at all? The second line says you need an unlocked bootloader...

Needing an unlocked bootloader I was under the impression that doing so would break the camera, however in the OP it states that the camera not focusing is a bug ?
Does this suggest that the camera works after the bootloader is unlocked?

Well, the not focussing is the issue with the camera after unlocking afaik... And if you can't focus, it's pretty useless. So, unlocking still messes up the camera and it's not so much a bug of this rom but a bug/issue after unlocking.

I understand that but thought that unlocking made the camera not work altogether so how can it be working on this rom after unlocking is what i ment?

The focus is what breaks. That's the way it is on all Roms right now, you get a picture, but it's blurred, because focus doesn't work.

No you can't. Installing a custom kernel (kernel modified in *any* way) requires the bootloader to be unlocked in order to be installed. Since all AOSP/AOSP-based/CM ROMs require a different kernel from the stock kernel you need an unlocked bootloader. You can flash the ROM, but it won't boot.

I searched here on xda tweaks
waiting for help but no one has helped me
In 4.3 I do not have any problem

FAQ
1. What is the partition layout ?
This ROM uses the 1.3GB /data layout like CM11, SlimKat and all other KK ROMs
2. Its Kitkat, where are the transparency ?
They have been disabled because Galaxy S is a low RAM device. Remove this line from build.prop to re-enable this and other effects - ro.config.low_ram=true
3. Where is the browser ?
I have not included AOSP browser as of now, because there are a few bugs in it, and after the move to Chromium engine, it became kind of laggy. I recommend Chrome Beta and Opera Mini as replacements.
4. Can I use any Google Apps package ?
No, you can use only my modified package, as the system partition is smaller and some stuff is packed in the gapps.
5. I get a Status 7 error while installing. What to do ?
Install ROM once, reboot recovery and install again. If still not working, install latest CM10.2 , and flash from it.
6. How to get Adobe Flash on Kitkat ?
Install this Kitkat compatible Flash Player apk from here. Now you need a flash compatible browser, I could find only Dolphin Browser which works. Install Dolphin , set Flash Player to Always On, restart browser and you are done.

Its already stable enough. No reboots, no crashes in the last 3-4 days of testing.

Problems with Google Play
Hi,
first of all thank you for the great work you are doing.
I installed your KK Rom 4.4 1.0.0 and am not able to get connected to Google Play. Actually, I connect to it, get the screen with Apps, Games etc. but I can not search and when I click on Apps - it tries to connect to Google Play but nothing happens (white screen under the search line) with circle rotating in the middle and after a while I get message: Connection time out.
And this stayed even after I rebooted ,my I9000.
I used your Gapps.

I think its a connection issue on your end. It works fine here.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Might be, but I get gmail synchronised without any problems, phone is working just fine, SMS also, and the first impression ist that it is faster than my old CyanAOPS 4.2.x or SlimBean 4.1.

Thanks for the ROM! I dont have any issues with google play and I hope not in near future . As much as I love ART as it gives more RAM, but it's really unstable, giving me random restart and so many apps can't be downloaded sighhh.

Everything's OK.. But one prob is the dialer have error when I start to dial... Ex: 012 then dialler has stopped

Try to clear dialer data. Did you wipe while installing the ROM ?

Tried flashing but install fails:
set_metadata_recursive some changes failed
E: error in <rom>
Status 7 aborted
Done all wipes and formatting. Flashed twice with same result.
I've got a back-up. But is there anything else I can try?

- First time flashing EuCliWoodRom to your Galaxy S4 (or coming from TouchWiz/Stock Based ROMs)?
Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
Do a Nandroid Backup!
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)
Install the ROM from internal/external sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install Google Addon

What do you need
OmniROM is a custom ROM and to be able to install a custom ROM, you will need to unlock your bootloader. You can unlock your bootloader from the Asus website. Please be advised that you will loose your warranty.
You need to be on the latest 4.2 bootloader. If not please update to the lastest Asus stock ROM first, otherwise you might brick your TF300T!!!
To be able to install OmniROM you will need at least TWRP 2.8.5.0 or higher
You need to have TWRP or CWM installed
You will need a flashable GApps package
You need SuperSU if you want to have root access
See the Downloads part of this message for the needed packages
How to install
To install OmniROM please follow these instructions:
Flash the TWRP 2.8.5.0 (or higher)
Reboot into recovery
Do a factory reset / full wipe
Flash the OmniROM zip file, the GApps ZIP file and SuperSU ZIP file
Reboot the tablet and enjoy OmniROM

Seems to work really well from a quick play around. Thanks for this, only thing I noticed is there didn't appear to be a battery status for the keyboard dock
Edit: Attempting to swype on the stock keyboard also seems to crash the keyboard
WiFi also seems to turn off during sleep despite choosing to always keep WiFi on during sleep

Omni hasn't had that in 4.4 yet either. The dock battery will still charge the tablet though.

Either first boot is taking forever, or I'm bootlooping here.

Did you do a full wipe including /data ?
What bootloader are you on ?
What version of TWRP ?

What do you mean if there is a kernel for this ROM? Without kerel it would not even boot
If you mean a custom kernel? I do not know. Have a look around, but do not think there is a custom kernel for Omni.
If there is a good custom kernel, it needs the Omni ramdisk.

I just need to update the ramdisk for the new wifi driver. The Grimlock kernel is still using the old wifi module right now
Guess I better stop slanking off and get on it
