I would like to play gamecube games(roms) with my Fire TV Box. Is there a way to easily play mario kart and other games via my Fire TV? Also is it possible to play the game such as Mario Kart with 3 people ( 3 controllers ) working with Fire TV? If possible can someone point m in the right direction for info on how to accomplish this, THANKS!

Minion Rush, to me, is one of the Android greats. The problem is that it translates horribly to a TV. There's no controller support, and using a touchpad virtually useless. So when I saw that this worked on Fire TV with the included remote I got curious. Does anyone know whether the Fire TV version has anything special about it? The standard Droid version doesn't seem to recognize my Playpad Pro, and I'd like to be able to play this on my TV.
Just bought a ouya controller ($17.99) at bestbuy online. I like old emulator games and sports games, but up until now haven't done much gaming on fire tv. I noticed NHL2k15
Has anyone tried this on fire tv? Also if there are any other games like NBA2k14 or 15 let me know if they work well on aftv. What I mean is are they made for touch screen devices? If so is there a way to make them playable with the controller. I have NBA 2k14 but as far as I can tell it's a touch screen version that works fine on my son's tablet but I can't find a way to change the settings to work with the ouya or any other gamepad.
Really it's an open question and any info is good and appreciated. Thanks.

The only way around this I can think of is if you had root on your AFTV. You could try using an application called tincore keymapper which would enable you to map physical buttons as touchscreen gestures. Also, there are some good sports games available to play via emulators. Try using a Playstation emulator such as Espxe or FPSE. Theres lots of sports games for that.
Hi,
Can I play the game such as ping pong, badmention on my fire tv? Do I need another device?
thanks
Hi,
Does anyone have a good emulator setup on the fireTV? (with list of best emulators to use)
I seen this: http://www.retroboxtv.com/ and wanting to set it up on my fire tv 1
Tried a few gamecube / wii emulators but none seem to work on fire tv.

It works ok with the Nes.emu app because you can programme the buttons & switch the remote sideways & use as a nes controller for your fire Tv stick, but I prefer to use a Fire Tv 2 & a Xbox 360 wired controller which works with nes, snes, genesis, mame, neogeo, gameboy & more emulators because it's faster & more compatible.
Root is not needed.
Hope this helps
