Can anyone help on this one please

Hi i`ve just recently bought a Nokia Lumia 1020 from china..
And joined windows 10 insider fast ring, i`ve had no problems upadating this phone from windows 8.1 to the latest
offering from microsoft, but for the life of me i cannot downgrade back to win 8.1
I`ve read all the tutorials i`ve done numerous soft & hard resets tryed different usb cables tryed different ports unistalled and reinstalled
WRT..
Now here is the thing that i don`t get,
When i connect my phone to my PC running win 7 WRT recognises my phone and then proceeds to tell me that there isn't
anything available on the server..
So i have held the volume button down & power pressed in, and restarted WRT to find my phone which it does and then proceeds to download a new rom.
But the new rom is for a different phone.. this is the rom downloaded by WRT
RM877 3051 50009 1451 1 RETAIL nam att 205 01 473928 prd signed.ffu
My installed rom is RM-875-apac_hong_kong_223

first of all : why downgrade? have problem with w10?

Thanks for your response, there is a issue with the camera not working. I had no problems with this until i upgraded to win 10
This is the main reason for me buying this phone because of the camera,

yes of course 1020 has great camera
but im not sure every people with 1020 who upgrade to W10M have this problem...
what is your problem?
do u try Lumia camera beta?

For some reason that app is not showing on windows store for me

Intersting, my phone is just in the process of updating the windows store, i`ll check when it`s finnished to see if it shows

Still does not answer the question why i`m struggling to down grade back to win8.1 though & why the server is downloading a different
file i.e mines 875 and yet the downloaded file is 877, or is it compatable, and why does my phone reject the install?

Well updated windows store, and searched again for lumia camera beta, and it`s not showing anything

Ok downloaded the file using the link you posted, installed, tried to opening it, and it`s now requesting me to update my software to Lumia Denim bless!...

lumia denim is an old firmware update on windows phone 8.1 i think...
but i dont know if u need it if u are on w10m...
and for your downgrade...i dont know why u have problem...
maybe try to post on Windows phone 8 section...

Might just trade in this phone and get a android phone with a decent camera....

Need Help With My Lumia 950 !!

First of all sorry for my bad english, im from germany ^^
I bought a microsoft lumia 950 and i like it very much, but actually im use an Galaxy s6 with my normal android apps.
And i really need these apps on my lumia too. I've read a lot about project astoria, the wconnect.exe tool and xap apps, but astoria is dead and the wconnect.exe tool doesn't work for me (allways getting error-8).
And now my question, is there another possibility to install/sideload android apps or any other apps ?
Device: Microsoft Lumia 950
Software: Win Mobil 10
Version: 1511
Build: 10.0.10586.11
Firmware : 01078.00027.15506.02027
i search for apps like : Youtube , Playstation network, Playstation messages, real instagram etc.
i would be very grateful for your help !

There is still no way to install apk on Windows 10.
We have to wait to see if it is coming back or not.

It is called sideloading apps. So yes - you can sideload apps - just like you can sideload apk files on android.

how i can install android apps on my lumia 535

hey guys . recently i have got the windows 10 build 10586 from windows insider preview . i want to install some important android apps . is it possible to install them on my device . and another thing will lumia 535 support 4g sim ? please help me guys to find out the solutions ..

I just get the old Lumia 535 from my grandma, it was still on WP 8.1...
So I tried to use microsoft sotftware to update, but it seems that they decided to switch off the services on their side...
I use a unofficial tool to update to Windows Mobile 10.10586.107, it worked !
Now I'm trying to update to 14393.1066 then to 15063.297, but when I try to update, I get an error : 0x80188302.
Wi-Fi is enabled and connected, but I can't reach facebook / internet over Edge.
Can someone help me ?

Hello! Is your Lumia 535 still working until now? What is the latest update version that you've got?
