[Q] Case for Quadlock system - Xperia Z3 Compact Accessories

I am looking for any recommendations to be used in conjunction with the Quadlock system.
http://www.quadlockcase.com/collections/android
For this, I need to glue a sticker to the phone, or rather a sturdy case. Two options I considered were :
Ringke fusion : I am not sure if this will provide enough protection in case I accidentally drop the phone.
Roxfit gel shell : I wonder if the plastic back is properly secured to the tpu case. If it's not, then the phone would still fall.

Hi
kindly asking what you've chose; have read that apply quadlock directly to the back original glass cover is not a good idea

Help finding a worthy case!!

My wife has the Case-mate tough case for her Inspire 4G and I love that case. Unfortunately, they don't make cases for the Atrix yet. Any one have any ideas on a similar 2 piece rubber interior with the hard shell? I really like the design and protection it offers. Thx in advance!
Get the Otter Defender Case. I have dropped my phone plenty of times and there is no sign of damage to my Atrix.
Otterbox Commuter
it has silicone (rubber-style) inside with a hard shell cover outside. Minimal size with maximum protection.

Agreed I love my Commuter, and it matches what the op asked for better than the defender.
Defender - Hard plastic inside/ soft rubber out
Commuter - Soft rubber inside/ Hard plastic out
Try the $5 hard case from Amazon
I have tried 4-5 different cases ranging from $3 to $30 and I ended up with the $3 hardcase:
(1) $4 Silicon case: it got a little loose after a few days. Would come out of the sleeve if yo drag it too fast from the pocket. I still have 4 of different color at home.
(2) $25 feather case: it is a one piece design, basically protects the batter cover but not much on the front. Returned it.
(3) Otto case: Way to bulky! The whole idea to get an Atrix is for its sleekness!
(4) $3 hardcase (black) from Amazon: I love it the best. It does not add too much to the phone (1mm) and it fits very tight! It gives enough protection on the front (the edge on the front raises about 1mm). The only caution is that once it is installed, it is very hard to remove it. You can remove it by plying open the snaps on the four corners using a flathead screw driver, but woul probably destroy the case.
Thanks for the replies guys, I do like the Commuter! Probably gonna order one off Ebay this weekend! I don't like the the hard cases, but I've seen them allow dirt inside and end up scratching the plastics on the backs of phones.

have the speck case droped it one time phone poped out of the case and got scratched up do not recommend it go otter box
Well I have to vote for the spek case. I dropped my case and it cracked the case but phone was ok and stayed inside the case. I went and got another one, I find the otter box a bit bulky.
Both cases are very good IMHO
+1 for speck case, great size to protection ratio!

Official Moto Ruggedized replacement battery cover at cnn.cn. In stock and shipping. Some good discussion on this as well as a youtube review can be found on here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1020143
I've had it for a week and very happy due to the minimalistic design.
get either an seidio innocase or get an incipio feather case, those 2 are my personal favorites.
the innocase has a nice pad inside so it won't scratch the phones battery cover, while keeping it as small as possible.
the feather case is for the minimalist look, least amount of space consumption and the best for docks so you won't have to pull it out...but its a little fragile, it will protect for falls since it adds a little gap to the front but most likely the fall will take the hit and crack the case.
if you're looking for something similar to the case-mate cases, go for the sidio.
Incipio

I highly recommend one of the glossy black TPU cases you can find off Amazon: $8.50 before tax.
Check these ones out. I'm currently using the plain black and it is very nice.

[Q]Need Help Deciding Which Case To Buy. (Case-mate Barely There or Casemate Gel?)

I'll be getting a Galaxy S2 soon and wanted to know which case is better in terms of quality,
http://www.clove.co.uk/case-mate-samsung-galaxy-s-ii-i9100-gelli-case-clear
- According to the item description, this case features Flexible thermoplastic - softer and more robust than silicone or rubber
http://www.clove.co.uk/case-mate-samsung-galaxy-ii-i91000-barely-there-black
- According to the item description, this case has a cutting-edge appearance with its rubber matte finish
- Contains, Impact resistant flexible plastic shell
I only want to buy one of the two cases mentioned above. Are both cases TPU? What is a flexible plastic shell? Is the same as TPU? I specially want a case that is matte finish. If the 1st case mentioned above is TPU, shouldn't be matte. I'm having some trouble telling the differences.
Please let me know. Thank you.
Well I have used the Barely There case for my N8 for quite some times and its quite good. I mean it protects the back and the camera from scratches and it is barely there as the name suggests. Very slim for a hard case and I guess people will be wanting to keep the slimness on the GS II pretty much as it is. In that case, I would go for the Barely There.
But with that said, if you are in need from protection, because if your phone falls down especially with the front facing downwards, the extra protection on the front in the gel case will help absorb the impact. However its unprotected on the barely there case and it will get scratched.
So far the Barely There case ahs been good for me and I went for 8 months without scratches. Last week I dropped my phone facing downwards and it got scratched. It wouldnt have happened in a gel/silicon case. And it doesnt matter even if youre very careful with your device like me. Sometimes it just happens.
Using a case-mate barely there, had one on my Galaxy S and couldn't fault it. Keeps the phone at its original form factor plus give a nice amount of grip but still slides into pockets easily without sticking.

Hey all, thanks for your responses so far.
My only main concern, is that I want a case of good quality that will give me good all-around full protection around the sides of the phone.
Does any one know if the Casemate Gelli Case provides this?
yes the gelli case provides that. it provides more protection that the barely there case
Might be kinda off topic (apologies if hijacking) but does anyone know if the case-mate fits either the official dock or any of the ones off eBay?

Which case for SG2 i9100 + protection

Hello, guys
I'm looking for a good case for my GS2 i9100...
It has to be: dual layer protection...
I found those two: Otterbox commuter series, and Mate-case tough.
Which one is the best? Or, are there other good cases on the market?
And if you got one, what are your experiences?
I have the Trident Aegis case and I really recommend it. I looked at the Otterbox Commuter but the back was slicker than what I wanted because I tend to have things fall out of my pockets and I didn't want my phone to be one of them. The Trident Aegis has a silicone underlayer that reveals itself at the bulked up corners and bevel, and has headphone and charging jack cover flaps to keep dust out. It's top layer is hard plastic but it has almost a soft, smooth texture to it that doesn't slide around as much. I've dropped this phone at least 10 times already and it's completely unscathed. Definitely check it out.

I looked at it, it seems give good protection to your phone, fit nicely, but it looks a little too bulky for me..
In my opinion Trident has the most protective cases while otter box may be more practical if you don't need the extra level of safety

Thank you,
I was looking for a cover where my phone was protected, the cover had to be good protection, but also a little stylish, not to bulky.
I also think trident and ballistic has the best protection, but I dont like the look so much...
So I made my decision and ordered a mate-case tough...
But I also need a good screen protection (but not too expensive), because I put my phone always in my pocket, sometimes with keys...
I always had a flipcover, that gives also protection for my screen... But I bought also the Exomount 2: universal car mount, which is an awesome mount, I'm very happy with that...
However with a mount, you can't use a flipcover, because you have to flip the cover to the back... So It wont fit nicely... (I hope you understand what i'm trying to say).
So I had to make a decision... A flipcover so I would protect my screen of scratches of my keys (but difficult to use in the car mount) OR a dual layer protected cover without a flipcover + screen protector... (and easy to use in the car mount)
So I want to use the cover anytime and everywhere... (I'm not planning for changing covers for each event), so it had to be a little stylish and not too bulky...
I hope that I made the right decision...

Slim case, with front part that SEPARATES from back part?

Hi folks,
I need a slim design case with back and front protection (like Poetic Slimline Case), but I need a feature that I don't know if it's avaible on it or on similar products..and maybe you guys can help me out with this:
I need that the front part of the case (generally leather or textile) can detach from the back part of the case (rubber, or hard plastic).
The reason is that I will use the case for a car dash mount (fixing the back case on the dashboard), and when I take it off the dashboard (I don't want to leave it in the car), I can insert it in the leather part, so it protects the glass when i put it in my bag.
Someone can give me a clue?
Obviously, if I use a normal case with front and back protection (not detachable), I would have the problem that the front part of the case will cover my tablet (or other buttons on the dashboard if I lift it).

case suggestion

I should be receiving my new device next week :laugh:and I can't decide what case to pickup.
I use a magnetic phone mount in my car so I will have to put the magnetic plate between my device and the cell phone case. That being said anything with a transparent back is out of the question. If the case has legs it would be ideal as well. I work at a desk all day and I would rather not have it wobbling around if I'm trying to use it while it's on my desk.
I have used a UAG case on my S5 for the past two years and I was very happy with it. Right now I'm considering the TUDIA Slim-Fit HEAVY DUTY [MERGE] Extreme. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Looking for a case as well, and I also use a magnetic mount in my car. I was wondering if, since the phone's back is all metal, do I even need the plate between the case and phone?

That's a good point. I guess we will find out soon enough!
The TUDIA case I mentioned above is a 2 piece case so I was planning on putting the metal place between the two parts of the case that way the metal plate doesn't have to physically touch my device.
Otherwise I'm probably going to at the very least place a small piece of paper between the metal plate and my device to prevent it from scratching the rear of my device.
Aluminum generally isn't magnetic, and I'd be slightly afraid to put a magnet right onto the phone and risk damaging some internals. I'm going with the Spigen Neo Hybrid, and will likely put the plate on the phone itself as well.
I have ordered these two. Always used spigen on my devices. Also ordered a full tempered glass protector. After reading on the protector its compatible with case's. Screenshots attached for easy reference.
Generally I prefer clear case and put some good pictures on the back.
all oneplus3 accesories are compatible just goto oneplus3 forum and check it out

I watched a YouTube video and they made it look like a breeze. But to get it perfect I think would be very difficult and stressful. But when successful it's well worth it in my mind. One imperfection would just flip me out

Let me know if the screen protector fits.
Already have the spigen case, just not sure if it works with the curved screen protector.
I went for OnePlus 3/3T Karbon Case. Really liking it. Also had ebony wood and sandstone case for tests. Ebony wood simply would not fit, however sandstone was very bulky in comparison to Karbon Case + I don't like how the sandstone feels in hand.

I got the ebony case for the 3T and not liking it. It's kind of hard to grip with the case on, sharp edges everywhere. I'm using it without a case now which is much comfortable and grippier. Don't know how much pain it's returning the case back for refund but will try that and look for a different case.

I have a friend who bought and likes the Spigen Neo Hybrid case, and I bought the OtterBox. I personally prefer the OtterBox, but the Neo Hybrid case looks pretty nice too.
Picked up the Cruzerlite Spartan case for my 3T. Got it yesterday and seems like it'll be a good rugged case. It's also not to thick. Get to try it when the phone finally gets here tomorrow.
Edit: posted the onepluse2 case but they do have it for the 3T also.

I usually go without cases but with the camera bump on 3T it makes me too cautious when putting down the phone on the table. Original Karbon Case does not create too much bulk as its quite slim and in the same time it does protect the camera and actually it has bumps on the front (corners) so you can put it face down too and not worry about scratches.
I bought Ringke Fusion. Awesome case. It has nice clicky buttons.
