I dont know if this JPD is the Same as JPC, this the link:
http://www.multiupload.com/UNYY3TTQPQ
Hope this is better than JPC.
I'm not flashing again untill i know its a stable release...
JPC sucked bigtime... memory issues which made me reboot the phone every day, or it made launcher pro reboot everytime...
Changelog please, or prior differences to JPC..

weird..JPC hasn't given me any problem... did you wipe ??
looking for reviews about JPD
just flashed to JPC 4 hours ago.. now come out another 2.2!!!
Jep i did! i had issues with browsing... when i visited several flash pages the whole memory filled up... and i couldn't free up ram with any task manager...
I think JPD is stable because they used it on I9000's on the IFA
Had troubles with JPC too... will give it a try...
So.. No one tried this yet?
Again another bs "release" by Samfirmware.com.
They seem to have no clue what they are doing.
This is the very same I9000XXJPC release, which was already released last month.
Also I recon this version is not bootable after Odin flash since it is a "high" release.
Someone go try it lol

So does that mean that the JPD is in fact the real deal??
Cheers....
Edit: disregard my last. I kinda jumped the gun thinking that this, in fact, was another Froyo release. Moved on to page 2 of the thread, and BAM.

Downloaded it, but did not flash...! thought just waste of time...
Seems a joke to me... All the files have the same build date as JPC 26th of aug... hehehe...
I have not received any update for Android 5.0 yet. I find this pretty odd considering it has been out for a long time. Everything seems to be functionally normally, but I never get any OTA update notification and it says I have the latest updates. Is this something to be concerned about, or am I just extremely unlucky to be one of the last ones to get it? Thanks.

The Nexus 7 is experiencing issues with L. My dad's device also didn't get it yet.
However, nothing stops you from flashing the image yourself from Googl's developer site.
This is the first time I've heard of this. Thanks for giving us all a heads up!
Oh wait, there's only about 10 other threads on the first page about this very issue.
Did anyone else get updated, my phone is not rooted or unlocked. so far update looks sleek, need to explore a lot.
enjoy all.

Mine is updating now but stated "security update will install?"
Looks like the N920AUCS4EQG1 update Nobarb found for all of us and referenced as unreleased a little bit back. (Thank you once again, Nobarb for all your hard work!!)
Probably just another security update. With the S8, S8+ and now the Note 8 forthcoming I can't imagine Samsung throwing us any more bones for our good old Note 5.

My apologies...I may have misunderstood what you were talking about. I just got an update yesterday and it was the QG1 update which brings in the July 1, 2017 update.
If you are not fully up to that build, keep trying for an update. You might try manually pushing your clock ahead a day if it is restricting you by the time limit.
I also received this new update and installed it. No difference in battery life or performance whatsoever... Just security updates.
Ever since my phone was updated to Nougat, it has been randomly rebooting (sometimes once a week and sometimes twice in 10 minutes). I can still use it fine but I'm honestly getting tired of finding it stuck at the "Enter PIN" (encrypted phone) screen after restarting. So I'm missing important calls without even realizing it when the phone is in my pocket. Anybody else seeing this? Suggestions welcome.
I did a cache wipe at least 10 times now and that didn't help. Don't wish to do a factory reset... It's a pain to setup android the way I like.
Thanks for any help guys.
someone can give me firmware N920AUCS4EQG1, im out side US,pls!
Just started roll-out on Friday. Anybody received it yet?
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-36701
No, I still don't know how they roll out their updates but I always seem to get them later than most.
Sweet no real changes lol
Just checked it is not pulling in the update yet.
Not getting it, either.
Edit - I mean, it DOES have the October security update. The phone shipped with the September security patch, so this is still an improvement.
Nothing here yet.

For those who have yet to get the update. Have you tried refreshing your connection to the network? The easiest way to do this is to shut your phone off for about 5 minutes, boot it back up, and go manually check for updates. There is never any guarantee that will work but sometimes it does for some.

Just tried this and still nothing. Everyone here should probably read this, too. This is in regards to Nexus/Pixels but I'd assume it'd be a similar scenario with LG.

I'm just really not used to waiting on a carrier to push an update after having a GNex, N4, N6, and N6P. Lol.

That's why I usually flash updates manually. With no root for carrier models, at least so far and more than likely won't be. That will take a bit of getting used to for me as well.
Im currently updating using the LG Bridge software .....
Still nothing OTA but LG Bridge seems to be active. Update is 3.05GB in size.

Updated mine tonight over LG bridge and it worked great.
I just got an update alert.
I ran it.
It looked like it got all the way thru...
I guess I failed it... ? ? ? ? Security Patch : October 1
Installing it now...604.5 mb taking forever to install
I got mine OTA this a.m. (in NYC). Also 604.5 MB. Installed quickly and without issue. It may be just a psychological "finding something different because there's been a system update," but the fingerprint sensor does seem faster to me, almost as fast as my recently abandoned Honor 8 (which was really fast). Haven't had time to detect any other changes, though.

That means it worked. It shipped with the September security patch.
Security patch on mine is from September. Updating OTA now.

Finally got the OTA this morning. Haven't had time to play with it at all.

Aaaaaand my internet connection is crawling slow now. Ran a speed test and I'm not running 0.36 DL and 0.04 UL speed where I would normally have 12 DL as my previous slowest. No good.
Just installed the update this morning. Since it's mostly just a security patch, I'm not counting on anything being different. But whatever, it's an update.

My speeds are normal. I don't think it's an issue with the update.

Before the update everything was fine. Post update, my connection is toast.
Hi,
I recently got myself an s9 256gb (exynos) and have had multiple issues with my first one.
Luckily they replaced it with another new one, and it had been running fine for a couple days.
Still need to get my notes from gmail working working (previous iPhone user), but i'll fix that.
Anyways, my question is. How long does it take you guys to see, "the stats" when you press on device maintanance?
It used to show it to me allmost instantly, but now it takes me around 40 seconds each time I open it.
On Youtube it looked like the phone of the revieuwers also showed it instantly, but I like to ask real users instead.
Thanks in advance..
Mine took around 37 seconds to load.
It's a bug for everyone atm, wait for an update
