Infected Builds? - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Out of curiosity, what happened to the builds Infected was doing?

I want to know, too. Btw, his RR build is available on his site.

Best Kernel?

Hello everyone. I want to install a kernel in Android Stock 4.3 and I'm looking for the best. I want a kernel with good battery life, good performance and stable.
Which one do you recommend me to install?
Wrong section.....
Without that for me the best is fancy
depuis mon pHoNe
Sorry. I thought I could post it here...
Thanks for the answer, and... Seraz007 I cannot find the kernel you mentioned xD

There are many awesome kernels out there. Best way is to try for yourself, thought I'm currently using Golden kernel for 4.3 and am loving it (link below for your convenience)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2385236
I know the best thing is trying myself but the fact is that I don't wanna be changing everyday the kernel. I want it to stay fresh (ROM)
The main reason I want to change the kernel is because I have some problems with 4.3. For example, when using Chrome, sometimes when I go back to the Launcher is is resetting. Just like a Force Close. And it happens with some other apps too. I have reinstalled 4.3 using GNexus Toolkit but it keeps happening. So I don't want to change a lot of times the kernel so that the phone doesn't get affected.

Sorry. I thought this was the right place to start a talk about kernels (related to development)... Thanks anyway and please any mod move this to the right forum

Try them. It's simple.. If you don't get the results you like.. Wipe cache and dalvik and flash another one..

I think I'll try fancy kernel. The battery must be 100%?
Enviado desde mi Galaxy Nexus usando Tapatalk 4
THERE IS NO BEST KERNEL. Each developer is dedicated to his own kernel. It would be incorrect to call one better than the other.
You should just try them all for a few days.
Kernels arent that hard to flash and set up. It wipes nothing. So why don't try them?

If you have to ask for "the best" kernel in this section then better you have to stick to stock roms and stock kernel.
Mods please delete or move to q&a section

Please sorry if I bothered you I just wanted to know before trying. And I have to change the kernel because stock 4.3 kernel doesn't work well for me. I get resets in Launcher when using an app ( eg Chrome)

On 4.3 (paranoid Android) I have tried 3 kernels so far. Franco, fancy and golden. What I like the best so far was golden kernel. And I am always using stock settings.

Dont let the XDA members discourage you for posting in the wrong place its no big deal..Just try a few and see wich works best for your setup and the way you use your device..

Will the Random Reboots stop if I install Cyanogenmod?

Hello,
I have a Nexus 7 2013 32GB.
I'm tired of the Random Reboots.
So I was thinking... If I install Cyanogenmod, will this issue be solved?
Where I can get the bug list for the official Cyanogenmod 10.2?
Thanks.
Regards,
pepemosca

RR stopped for me after I installed CM10.2. Good chance it will for you as well.
And in quite a few cases, they started again after about a week.
The only way to know if it'll work for you is to just do it and see...
I get them too, with 10.2. Is anyone not having this issue?

yes it's exactly like the AOSP one but in order to take a full advantage of it's tweaks you must buy the unlocker which is like 3 dollars

When I bought my Mi Max on December 2016 I was working on it but after some problems by recompiling system, having in mind that till now there isn't a Stable Nougat ROM,that the are so many different good AOSP Roms and ending that the MiGlobe now a days is too similar to Epic I give up.

I'm member of the Epicteam but he is the Creator and "boss" of the team so you should talk to him,you can tell him that you were talking with @Albertkuba about the propose to bring EpicRom to Mi Max and if he agrees will tell you how to develop it.

Month ago on english official webpage they say that soon will be the lastest mm build and then they'll work with nougat (are they say it is 7.1.1 i am not 100% sure). 26s was and the nougat 'll be next.
Yes for international version of le pro 3 LEX720. For US model, I doubt it. I could be wrong.
Good! We hope so

Read the financial problems became bigger and bigger
I wouldn´t sugguest anyone to buy a LeEco phone currently.
The Leeco hardware is great for the price.. the software.. meh. I'd buy it again for what I paid ($249).
What is hardware without good software?
If software was unimportant why all the fuzz for the very latest firmwares from third party???

Believe me, I am not trying to troll anybody. It's just my opinion. Like yours.
I appreciate the work with custom roms and I would like to be on your side. But there is always something that doesn't work as it works in stocks (e. g. camera, SOT...)

I would agree on that but custom rooms definitely have more features than stock rom
