Hi,
I am trying to find a dev for the Amazon Fire Phone, for paid work in creating a single app. Looking for someone who has experience with the unique apis for this phone, or who is willing to learn quickly. Can anyone please advise?
And if there is a better forum than this, please excuse.
Thanks.
Jim Z.

Hi guys,
I was wondering, is there anyway this could be achieved?
Sort user names by feedback?
Can you please elaborate more?
I can only assume that you're reffering to the marketplace feedback....
As far as I know there is currently no way to sort members at all in anyway..
Quite simply, there are too many members.
Please remember that the marketplace is buyer beware and we do not actively moderate or become involved in transactions. If you are in doubt of whether or not a member is genuine or trustworthy I personally to do not believe a feedback system is reliable anyway. Go with you instincts and if your unsure, don't do it.
Appreciate the advice, thank you.
Could somebody who knows the terminology update the Acronyms section? There's a lot that I've run across in the forums that aren't there or in the Glossary. Just take a quick look through and add what's missing, then nOOBs like me don't have to ask as much.
Also, might I ask that the wiki possess more on general programming and coding for android and other moblie OS? I like just learning how it works, but I've found little on that. How do you develop a ROM, what's the programming basics...that sort of thing. And if you know of a place on the web that already does that let me know.
I'm loving the info on the site otherwise. I haven't posted much, but I've read a bunch.

There are a lot of Acronyms, probably a lot I don't know as I'm a Microsoft only guy , but unless you let us know which ones you're struggling with we can't help you.
Perhaps those that you come across, you can ask for on it's talk page.
Thanks,
Dave

I have been searching for two weeks straight on how to root my Verizon (running on straighttalk) Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It is the SM-910V running 5.0.1. It has the kernel 3.10.40. I have tried multiple different ways of using odin, kingoroot, ect. I'm not sure if I am just doing something wrong or what? I consider myself fairly decent with software and figuring things out. However, working 4 12-hour shifts at the local hospital and taking summer classes in college has me a little frazzled. Can someone please direct me to a guide that will enable me to root my phone permanently. I would prefer not to have a temporary root but if that is my only option I am certainly open to it. I am not incompetent nor am I lazy, I am just tired of searching countless threads and watching countless video's to no avail. PLEASE HELP ME. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated and hopefully someday I can return the favor.
Side Note: I am currently a Licensed Practical Nurse with many years of experience and working on getting my ASN-RN then I will bridge that to an ASN in CIS. Anything I can do to assist someone else please ask. Thank you for allowing me to join your group guys and gals!!!
Hi! Xda admin aren't the ones to ask for help with technical issues on devices, fellow members are.
There's a dedicated section here for the Verizon Note 4, https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon
The general section has lots of information, including root guides by the looks of it. After reading through those, if you still need help, you can ask in the guide threads, or in the question and answer section.
Good luck! And I'll close this thread. :good:
