first of all, I recommend TWRP instead of CWM. then, find the newest possible recovery and flash that. it will work

Did you use UnrEVOked to flash? If so try running it again.
But before you do that, try downloading an app called 'Quick Boot', open it & tap 'Recovery'.
Yes did what you said and just goes to the white boot screen

Did you try running unvrevoked again?
If you did and it doesnt work then install a RUU, i think it's a sticky.
This will re-install your recovery image etc but you will lose root.
Once thats done run unrevoked again
hi,
I had a bricked device (USB and SD unmount)
I resolved the "brick" but now I can not instal rom from Rom Manager or from recovery
Rom manager is not puting device to recovery at all, I go throu all steps and when it says to push OK to go recovery nothing hapends
Eny thoughts on this
Try booting into recovery manually, see what happens. That is by powering of the phone and using the vol down and power button.

Tried but pc is not recognizinh it.
... is it posible that it got unrooted?

Resolved - done a trick with file "update" in rooting procedure, packed recovery image in it and flashed it from recovery (when in triangle screen press vol up and power)
After that flashed new rom and now everithing works as charm - well usb sync is not but I do not need it

After i wiped my htc in recovery with Android revolution superwipe, i rebooted it by mistake without installing the new rom. Now if i start the phone, its stuck on the htc logo bit. Anyone got any idea how i can fix this?
Thanks
Pull the battery out
Hold down power and volume down button
Should boot into the android boot loader
Then use the volume down and up to navigate and click recovery with the power button should boot into your recovery system where you can flash a backup or new rom

I am posting this for my frnd he was trying to unlock bootloader which he successful did but when he tried to reboot after that it stuck in bootloop(htc logo) and later he realized he accidentally clicked on flash kernel from some rootkit and I suppose that's why it's suck in boot then he tried to flash recovery and flash a new Rom but his phone is not detected by the computer
Any suggestion

So my suggestion is: flash a recovery like philz 5.15.9 via fastboot, enter recovery, mount the phone as external mass storage, copy there the zip of a rom, wipe data to install new rom, reboot to bootloader, flash boot.img from the rom via fastboot (erase cache before and after flashing boot.img) then enter recovery flash the rom zip and choose wipe in aroma... Then should be ok... Ask here for further infos

Hi guys, yesterday I installed new software update 2.34.720.2. After that I tried to flash latest CWM recovery but after flashing when I tried to enter into recovery msg appeared 'Entering Recovery' but after that only black screen appeared. I used both methods .exe file method as well as cmd method but nothing worked. I searched the forums about this but didn't get the solution. My question - Is it happening due to installing latest software update and then flashing CWM recovery??
Mobile Description
HTC 816 a5 dwg (India)
Unlocked bootloader
Mobile is working fine except recovery
S/W - 2.34.720.2
S on

It is normal...after that just press volume up + power button for a couple of second and release both...then make your selection. Btw..its a stock lollipop recovery that came and flashed thru the ota update.
