I have the same problem - LG G3 d855, rooted lollipop v20U EUR-xx does not work any other application only QuickRemote . When I look at the LED, the camera of another phone no flashes
Everything is OK if you run QuickRemote - and I want to use UniversalGalaxy Remote applications because the works with AndroidWear - someone knows the solution to this problem
Regards

IR from LG phones only works with QuickRemote from LG, no more software will work with the IR blaster since LG have ecripted the drivers!

Seems like not installed or pre-installed for G3. Hope they release an app like this asap.
Q voice can only be accessed through the quick settings panel. It's called voice mate.
Hey everyone!
Looking for LG G3 DSLR owners to help out with a simple test. Recently added support for the LG G3 to ShutterBOT (a universal DSLR remote control)... but have not been able to confirm whether it works.
Only have a LG G2 here, and unfortunately due to API limitations it is not supported. Any help would be appreciated!
09/21 - updated APK to 1.1.1409.8
09/29 - link to store release: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.c2nova.shutterbot

It now works on my Canon 5D MKII and Nikon D3000.
I just tried this app on my LG G3 and Canon 70D and I cannot get it to work. Do I need to do anything special on the camera or the phone? I have NFC enabled on the phone.
Thanks,
schumach
Please try the tutorials @ http://www.c2nova.com/shutterbot/support/index.html

C2Nova,
Thank you very much for the link. I followed the steps in the tutorial but there is either a problem with the app, my phone or camera because the camera does not always take the shot when the app is used. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year.
I followed the tutorial and it does work great with my Nikon D5000. Using CloudyRom with my D852 G3.
Hello,
I have a LG G3 stock (Android 5.0 - version V20t-EUR-XX) with Root. I use a DSLR Canon 450D. And ShutterBot installed from Play store works fine
Thanks for your work !

Is the Quick Remote app on LG G3, which utilizes the IR blaster as a remote control, crippled? When I add a new remote, there are only three device types: TV, cable box and audio, as well as a universal remote. There are no DVD/Bluray! I'm sure I saw a screenshot of this app somewhere that has many more device types. Where can I get the full version?
Model: AT&T D850
I'm not sure but I have to say the "quick remote" in the notification area is prob my favorite feature with this phone and the only reason I'll be bummed to use a aosp ROM.

Right but what I'm saying I love is the notification drop down quick remote. Having that widget is awesome.

Thanks for confirming that! Can the Quick Remote app on G2 be exported and installed on G3?
It used to have a lot more devices.
Like projectors, air conditioners and so on.
After an update they removed it. Beats me why.

Hello,
Does anyone know how to make the quick remote of LG G4 work on CM 13? The LG G3 remote is available but sadly it doesn't work at all.
It's a very important feature that I'm missing while using CM13 on my phone and it would be really nice to have it back. Any other working remote would be ok too.
Thank you.
I use ANymote on CM13 and works very well, it actually has a better remote selection than the stock one.

Thank you very much. This app worked perfectly and as it should.
