I'd like to see/hear what everyone is using for their watch faces. I switch a lot but my go to is Pujie Black. So many ways to customize it. So what is everyone using?

I'm currently using the Scoon Tech 1 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scoonwear.tech1. I find it a little dorky, but I wanted a watch face that showed me the temperature on it. Interested in other suggestions for simple/customizeable watch faces with weather/other module options. I also had the dreaded battery drain issue today, not sure if it was the watch face or something else random.
Still playing ingress
There are 4 things I like to see on a watch face:
- Time
- Date
- Battery power
- Weather
The Odyssey watch face shows all of these things and looks pretty decent.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.smartwatchface.odyssey.watch.face&hl=en
A close second for me is Krona Sunlight, which has the added benefit of showing you the weather for the next 24 hours in a very interesting way.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.marscity.sunlight
I am using the 9 to 5 Working Hours Watchface, it shows me how long I have been at work, how long to my break and how log till I can gtfo.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.atektura.ninetofivewatchface&hl=en
The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't show phone battery or weather, but I have learnt to live without that.
I wonder how these watchfaces perform in terms of battery life. With the stock ones, boring as they may be ☺ I easily get three days, and ultimately I realized that this is what matters to me.
Most of then are pretty good. It's the faces made by facer and watchmaker that I find to be not much chop.

I know I go back an forth a lot and just get bored quickly of the basic ones. But sometimes they are nice for their simplicity.
I'm using Mickey Mouse watchface from this app.

Currently using Modern Times:

-analog clock
-next appointment
-weather hourly forecast
-weather daily forecast
im looking for something like that for smartwatch 3
i only find some watchfaces with
-clock
-weather at the moment (for that i can look out of the window)
-appointments
i tried watchmaker pro, but i think it doesnt support hourly weather forecast or? instaweather supports it, but doesnt offer calendar appointments

I tried searching but all I can find is a weather widget that shows the temp and the high/low temp. I am looking for a weather widget that shows the temp, high/low temp, and the chance for precipitation. Does anyone know of one?
Try the weather channel from market place. It works relatively well, radar functionality if decent.
Thank you for your response. I've used the Weather Channel widget before. It's nice but not quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the widget to show the temp, high/low temp, and the chance for precipitation without having to tap on the widget. If I wanted more detailed information, then I could tap the widget. The widget doesn't have to look pretty. It could just be letters and numbers without graphics. Any ideas?
Check out elecon weather hd. It has a couple of widgets including barometer, wind speed/direction and even moon phase.
Amishman, understood. Being a 2 wheeled junkie, I don't often rely on % of precip. I rather look briefly at the radar to make my own determination.
What about the android default weather app? When click on it you can slide your finger over and see the % and the time. Or you want a widget that shows it all at the home screen?

Palmary Weather FTW! Has Now, 2 day, 15 forcasts, comfort level, dew point, humidity, barometric pressure, visibility, wind and % chance of precipitation on forecast. By far the most customizable, up-to-date, accurate etc. weather application for Android. Also maps for now, radar, satellite, etc. as well as a very comprehensive charts menu. It is a paid app but by far really, really worth it! And last but not least it looks really good.

Yes, I was looking for a widget that showed it on the home screen.
I'm not really looking for a pay app. I was hoping there was a free app that I had missed. Thanks for all of the replies, much appreciated.
Here:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20221226/WeatherWidget.apk
I do not take credit for the original app (along with some minor bugs )
But i did modify the source code to provide 12 hour pop (possibility of precipitation) from the NOAA.
The original project, weather data information, and image copyrights can be found in the info screen of the application.
The bugs i mentioned while testing out the new code:
Sometimes the location settings will not pull when you search for a location, just keep attempting or give it a minute and try again.
Sometimes there is an error pulling the data for a newly created widget, just delete the widget and try again.
Once you get a location and data for the widget it should be all good.
Minor note, while the temp data is 24 hour, NOAA only provides 12 hour pop, meaning the precipitation is reflective of the beginning part of the day.
I might try to mess around with it some more to tweak some of the bugs and maybe represent precipitation as a morning%/evening% to better reflect true pop.
The tiny widget i had to modify so it only shows POP, as the high/low/pop would not all fit in a 1x1.
hope it works for you!
Almost perfect!
Thank you for the app. It's almost perfect! There are a couple of things I have noticed. I don't see the current temp displayed. Also, the hi/lo it is giving me is for friday and it's thursday night. The pop that's displayed is 23% but for Friday where I live is 20% morning and 40% night. I'm not sure where the 23% came from, unless it was from this morning maybe.
Yeah the pop is for the morning, the NOAA kinda is a little goofy getting the data. I will probably rebuild the app in my spare time, there are a few bugs, and like you said it does not display the current weather. I will shoot you a pm once i get time to redo and add some features
Thank you! That would be great. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm here to to mention that this is the best clock I've ever seen on Android. It has many functions like puzzles and math to keep you away from sleeping in. I've used it for a week now and I find it pretty useful.
Although the app is free but it has some premium content, but you don't have to pay for it, just share your referral code to your friends so whenever they install the app and enter the code, they get a free theme and you get 1 share. 20 shares will unlock all of the premium content

Nope that's all you needed to do! Thank you.
I've unlocked the premium version and I no longer need the shares. If someone else would like to share their link by going into timely, hitting menu then settings, there should be a Share Application which can give you the link to post if you'd like to put it in the thread. :good:
Thanks again to all that helped, I'll continue to maintain the thread and by request I can even swap out my code for one of yours if you would like.
This is a really great clock. I've tried so many and always end back up with the stock clock app. This one finally made me change for good.

More Widget choices!!
If you bore of the timely widget but love the alarm. I like it but it doesnt have weather. One more clock widget (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sunnykwong.freeomc&hl=en) allows many more options for the widget but lets you still open the timly alarm when you touch the clock. It makes it feel just as baked in as the touchiz accuweather widget/clock.
In the settings of "One more clock widget" this tap and display table allows you to open timely as if its part of the widget.
hello,
I have the SW3 only since yesterday, but unfortunately I have found many things that make the clock for me not usable. Maybe you will also find solutions to the problems !?
1. Display activation can not be set:
The display of SW3 always goes on when I move my wrist or tap on it. Can you disable that somewhere ??
I go to swim with the clock and every time you touch a drop of water, the clock goes on and there are things unintentionally started.
This is really annoying ...
2. No Sleep recording and no Lifelog functions
As a previous user of a smart band, I do not want to miss the sleep recording and according to the information and work with the SW3. unfortunately
works Lifelog not on the clock and the sleep recording does not work.
Only about Google Fit the steps are counted ...
So I can also display any things from Lifelog leave me like calories, etc ...
3. GPS smartphone without
Currently possible only with the Google My Tracks app. With reasonable Running apps like Endomondo or Runtastic does not work. Here needs to be the Smartphone in the near!
This is really bad! Here probably need to update the app maker.
4. retrieve emails
New incoming emails are displayed, but you can not open the email app on the SW3. I have disabled notifications for mails on the smartphone, but i want to read it on the watch. That is I can not read about the SW3 mails therefore unfortunately. This was for me a reason to buy, and now is not there ...
5. SW3 use as an alarm clock
I would like to use the SW3 as an alarm clock. However, only with vibration. But my phone is not connected in the near or not with the Watch.
Does not work for me also.
In connection with the fact that the charging jack is really a disaster and very very awkward - I'm considering to send the watch back.
Really a shame because the SW3 would have had huge potential ...
Do you have the same problems or Let us understand this or is it one or the other perhaps solutions?
greeting
Deifel
1. Display activation can not be set:
**Agree. Didn't expect that from a smart watch that is announced as water proof.
2. No Sleep recording and no Lifelog functions
**I use Sleep like a Droid. It works great.
3. GPS smartphone without
**This is the first smart watch with GPS. I'm sure soon all those apps will support it.
4. retrieve emails
**I can read full emails in gmail. Are you using a different client?
5. SW3 use as an alarm clock
** I recharge it in the office. Takes about 30minutes. So I sleep with my watch to monitor my sleep
"In connection with the fact that the charging jack is really a disaster and very very awkward - I'm considering to send the watch back.

** awkward indeed. I'm sure soon we'll see charging docks. I'm considering using the original package box for it. But as i charge it in my Office desk, not a big deal.
lack of lifelog sleep was disappointing (may come later when we get a sw50 sony app?)
I use "sleep as android" (SaA) now as it has native android wear support and seems to work well - compared smartband deepsleep stats vs sw3 with SaA and it seem to match up.

beside that very much enjoy sw3 ~ sideloaded some apps over Bluetooth adb to make watch more usable and fun (launcher, calc, games etc, eve towelroot lol). unlocked bootloader so now eagerly awaiting a rom (or about to learn how to build one)
I thought the usb connection "awkwardness" was just me.. yep it'll slowly drive me nuts if we have to charge these things every 24hrs or so (with my usage anyway) with this horrible connection.. see what happens I guess.
having only had a galaxy gear 1 (both os's + custom roms) that I didnt enjoy I can't really complain about much more rhan above really ~ pleasantly surprised and enjoying thoroughly (4 days in)

You can try the Showear app. But I wouldn't swim with mine. IP68 is good for 1 meter, but when you swim you're pushing water on the watch with a lot more pressure than the stationary pressure at 1 meter that it's rated for.
Would anything be willing to make this watch face? I like the simplicity, but elegance of this watch face:

Can I request a black background? And, sorry to n00b it, is there a way to set the ambient screen to the a lighter (meaning less bright) version of the watch without the second hand moving? Is that something I can do?

The watch is only made with the light background. I can invert the image and desaturate the blue tint, and you'll have a black background with white/grey markers and text. What I will not do is recreate/photoshop out all the markers and just replace the background with black and keep the markers in gold, as that is way way more work than your original request. If you're ok with the black/white look, I can easily do that.

There is no second hand on my watch, as the original DW doesn't have it either, neither does the image on your OP. It's only hour and minute. As far as changing the image when it's dimmed, it's just a matter of duplicating the layer, changing the opacity and setting that to show when dimmed, and setting the original layer not to show when dimmed.
I'm not entirely sure if you're talking to me thinking of this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-360/themes-apps/daniel-wellington-watchface-t2982668
or thinking of these:
http://facerepo.com/app/faces/details/daniel-wellington-classic-black-date-plus-14a7ca2ac1e
http://facerepo.com/app/faces/details/daniel-wellington-classic-silver-date-14a7c79b209
All three of those somehow, magically, appeared online after I created mine based on your request.
If none of those three are what you want, I can modify the one I made. But I don't want to waste my time, so check those out and let me know.
Thanks, I will try and muddle through the settings. Still very new to this. I am using Watchmaker, and will play around.
There are some of the watches I like, but I use ambient setting, and for some the watch face disappears and only the hands remain. Others have a second hand that freezes in ambient mode, then jumps around when it activates fully.
If that even makes sense.
Thanks for all the work, you do a phenomenal job.

Thanks! I ran into the issue where 4 Pm appears as 8 pm on my watch. Bug?
I think it's because this watch face lacks 12 hour time support. Any way to add this in? Thanks
Watch Face does not lack 12 hour support. It's using the standard tag. You can also just change that yourself in Facer by opening the layer for the hour hand and changing the rotation tag.

Hi, I love this face, but it keeps displaying the wrong time. Sometimes it shows it like 8 hours out but currently it's not moving the hour hand with minutes, just staying exactly on the hour.
Anyone / @Max_Pain have any idea?
Edit: in fact, the hour hand is stuck at 12.

Hi so I gave a new MI 4 band to my dad, and he's complaining that the font size of the HR value is very small in the stock faces.
I tried using Amazapp on my iphone to download a new face but the face was not working on the latest firmware updated today (1.0.6.16).
Is there any way I can get a face with a bold HR and time only? Thanks in advance!

Just a proof of concept - I removed everything and kept just time and HR. It works fine with 1.0.6.16 FW.
I'm sorry but don't have an iPhone, so can't advise how to upload custom WFs to the Mi Band.

I find steps counter pretty accurate, online reviews and tests confirm that it's very accurate too, especially during continuous walking/running. Was your band over or under counting? What was the difference to the real number of steps? Please don't forget that the band will ignore short walks (less than 10 steps), so even if you make many short walks, they most probably won't be counted.
Once I had an issue with Mi Band 2 - after completely depleting the battery (forgotten in a drawer) it started absurd over counting, one real step showed as 10 or so. When I did another complete drain until "dead"/charge cycle, it got fixed. Probably not applicable to Mi Band 4 as it can be rebooted unlike Mi Band 2, but who knows..
