Custom rom + sony interface

Hello guys, I'm thinking about installing a ROM based on different kernel (cm etc.), to upgrade my super xperia S to newer android. But I hate nexus style. I love sony's one. Any ideas a about good composition? Rom which looks like sony interface, and with Sony apps? Appreciate it!

Try any rom with honami style and unlock your bootloader then install any kernel
you can install media apps for sony Z2 on CM11 but you cannot use all walkman features

You can try different ROM and use these themes to get the Sony UI look:

You can also install ported apps of Sony, most of them work. I'm on Carbon ROM and I have the ported apps such as Wlakman, Album which work very good.

I meant camera and video quality in non-Stock ROMs is not as good as Stock[-Based] ROMs.

Heay! Is there actually a Reason Sony removed them ? For the Keyboard, they replaced with Swiftkey with a Theme but for example the Home Menu just seems to be a older Version

All xperia devices already have a built-in answering machine/voicemail service plus your own network's. Sure you don't mean the call/messaging blocking app from the Japanese firmware z3 I think it was.

My XZ doesn't... If yours does please list the firmware version and region.
I'm pretty sure you're wrong though and no XZ has answering machine because I've already contacted Sony regarding this.

i think you are having problems because of Ads activity on the web page, please install an ad blocker extension for your browser activate it and then try the link again

Every xperia device I've owned Inc Z models has had this feature on every different firmware I've used aswell. Don't see why it would be removed from the flagship xz

Well it is, mate. I've owned an Xperia Z, Z1, Z2 and Z3C previously - I know where the feature should be, it's not there.

I'm keen on the answering machine too!

also another camera app OnlineRemote has been removed from the Xperia XZ
i installed it like an ordinary app but after using a few times it force closed

i'm sorely missing the small apps. that one has been really useful for me.

[Mod]Music 9.3.3.A.1.0 to Walkman Mod

Hi Xperian, Since the Walkman App become Music. I Started using Xposed Module of Nahael Azaway of Music to Walkman. But only Xposed User can use it. So i Modify the latest Walkman App 9.3.3.A.1.0.
This is Just a Simple Mod, that i change the app label together with app icon and notification icon to bring back the Legendary Walkman to our Beloved Xperia. I also Change the Landing pane on Home since i dont want the current png on that.

The Icon was provided by fellow xda member months ago and the rest is done by adavnced apktool by Bdfreak. If you have doubt then it is yours. It just simple replace name and replace drawable on my mod

Oh, Im sorry i dont see that but honestly my resources comes from the icon pack uploaded months ago and i also edited the landing pane if you can notice. But you can report it. Its not a problem since android is open source and i dont use your work. Its just we are the same only difference is landing pane. Also i know how to change app name by android manifest.xml with android:label="string/app-name" if that was the name you should go to res/values/string.xml and locate it. Sorry no offense also. It just i know the rule that you cannot use other work its just i dont know that someone already do what is my mod also

In order to remove red beta build text, you have to delete line 14 from music.xml, located in res/layout and res/layout-v21 folders

On my screenshot, this is stock icon, on eXistenZ, menu icon has a different name, that's why it isn't themed.

at least, you could say that it applies completely in an xz2, in the other dispsitivos with oreo does not apply completely

no..I tried to some weeks ago, but it didn't work (neither with Andromeda, my phone is unrooted), so I uninstalled everything

Your phone doesn't support full theming engine. Only XZ2 family and eXistenZ user does.
