Hello guys, I'm thinking about installing a ROM based on different kernel (cm etc.), to upgrade my super xperia S to newer android. But I hate nexus style. I love sony's one. Any ideas a about good composition? Rom which looks like sony interface, and with Sony apps? Appreciate it!

Try any rom with honami style and unlock your bootloader then install any kernel
you can install media apps for sony Z2 on CM11 but you cannot use all walkman features
You can try different ROM and use these themes to get the Sony UI look:

You can also install ported apps of Sony, most of them work. I'm on Carbon ROM and I have the ported apps such as Wlakman, Album which work very good.

I meant camera and video quality in non-Stock ROMs is not as good as Stock[-Based] ROMs.

Hello bro, im also working on timescap And everything is working Also enabled twitter no luck with fb yet, except widget im not able to add timespce widget to screen but its accesseble through the apk sortcut no fc u hv to try it..

are you using the same launcher attached in the post or some other timescape widget will only work in sony launchers and facebook fc can be solved by fixing permission in recovery but main target is twitter if timescape work i can release rom

it is a rom for sony xperia lover who miss xperia stuff .it is not my work purely.i am just porting it to our devices as a fast xperia based rom
as a alternative ui rom.we need different flavors of rom for our device.keep making new rom.....enjoy:good::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Till now everything is working like charm...
Gapps are not include this time in Rom so plz mention it in very first post so that we flash gapps manually...
Also keyboard is very nice....

I themed the stock XS Lockscreen.
I'm newbie & I don't know how to attach screen shots thumbnail. So I just make link for screen shot.
Just copy it to system/app and change the permission to rw-r--r--

Put the apk into the /system/app ,and set 644 permissions (rw-r--r--) or tick Read: owner, group, others / Write: owner)
or use the adb method "adb push UxpNxtLockScreen /system/app/UxpNxtLockScreen"

If u are rooted, then try eXistenZ UltrA.. Latest 1.3.5 ROM has Recently played in its Walkman.. Walkman is also latest version..

Yes but recently played is there.. Thats what this op was created for.. If u want all of them, u can switch to old version of walkman or try google with someone releasing a version with those features..

DEODEXED,so remove any odex files and push to system/app/home
Tested on Z Ultra 5.1 Gpe based rom

It's from AOSP based concept, mean this ROM doesn't have Sony framework, so no themes in this launcher.

Well, there is no source code, so all the modifications should be done in smali code, which is complicated.

You can put home.apk to folder Home Realease. Then delete home Realease.apk. Reboot
