HTC One M9 (Verizon)
To be more specific, I am not receiving texts from a specific person.
My texts go through, and when she responds her messages say the are sent on her end, but I never receive them.
She is on T-Mobile and she has an Android device.
So far this is the only person I have issues with. I receive texts from my other friends from T-mobile, At&t and Verizon. Also no issues with them whether its Android or iPhone. This seems to be a very isolated event.
She's not blocked as far as I could tell. I do not have any numbers blocked in any list I can find.
I saw some suggestions on a different forum about placing people on a spam list, but I don't seem to have that option. That suggestion was for a galaxy phone. I have also tried deleting her number and adding a new contact with that number.
If anyone has other ideas, please assist.
Thanks all.

Hey!
I am lately seeing this issue. When I receive international calls, I dont see the plus code (357) in the callerid. Also they dont get identified from my phone book who have the numbers with the plus codes (357).
Any help?
might be best to post this on the social microsoft pages and ask them directly. there aren't any settings at the moment to cater for this issue.
Thanks for the reply and advise
I sold my G-nex to a friend who then gave it to a relative, but she is complaining that she is receiving texts intended for me, even though I also am receiving them.
I have a new number, even a new carrier.
The SIM was replaced.
She says the google account is hers not mine. Which I am sure it is.
What other suggestions can be offered to help?
Thanks to anyone who replies.
are we talking about SMS texts? Gtalk texts? Whatsapp texts?.. troubleshooting this could be fun, but I'd just tell her to fully wipe the phone and start all over, probably didn't wipe correctly in the first place.
I am using a Dev Ed HTC m9 on ATT(unrooted). I am having this annoying issue where, seemingly randomly, I do not receive some text messages from some people in a group text. I would receive maybe 1 out of 5 messages sent by one person, and it switches between people so its not like it's one person's issue. One on one texts seem to work fine. One thing to note is that everyone in the group text has an iphone and probably uses imessage sometimes, but I'm not sure if that's the problem. I have had the same group chat with the same people while using my galaxy s3 on att with no issues like this, it only came up after I switched phones and sim cards(same number tho).
I made sure my APN settings were set to ATT and I have called att several times after upgrading from the galaxy s3 while keeping the same number on the m9, but it hasn't worked.
One thing that is interesting is that textra seems to receive all the messages (or atleast more than the stock messenger app, as far as I know), while google messenger, stock messenger, and hangouts sms all seem to show the same incomplete messages threads.
So I recently ported from Sprint to Verizon and now to ATT within a little over a month. After just completing the port to AT&T I am getting strange email notifications about a voicemail I missed which seems to be for totally different people.
No notifications are showing on my phone and when I check my phone it is saying I have none. However almost daily now I am getting email alerts and the voice message attached of a email to someone else.
When I hoover over the message on gmail it shows up as @smsvoice.sprint.com all coming from 724 area code. This didn't happen with the month I spent on Verizon, just a day or so after getting my number ported from Verizon to ATT and getting the phone up and going.
Phone is a LG G4, bone stock.
The software used to play the messages showing through email is called Smith Micro Software.
Would like to figure out why I'm getting these. If anyone has experienced this or knows what it is I would greatly appreciate it.
Hello,
To better assist you, your thread will be moved to your device Q&A forum linked below.

The experts there may be able to help. Good luck.
It's more likely connected to the operator, rather than the phone.
Hi,
I've been searching for answers about this issue, but I haven't found anything for my specific problem (though I have found similar). I'm hoping someone here can help me, because it's incredibly frustrating.
I've had my OnePlus 7t for a few weeks now. I rooted it pretty much as soon as I got it. So basically, I live in a black hole with very little cell signal. I can almost never get calls inside my house, and text messages are often delayed. However, I've been texting my mom and sisters in a group MMS for years and never had this problem before. On my old phone, a Samsung Galaxy S8, same network, the texts might be delayed, but they would download automatically and still end up in the proper order of when they were sent.
Now on my OnePlus, they are ordered by when they are received. This makes it so that I only get part of a conversation on time, and the rest of it comes in several hours (sometimes many hours) later. I can't keep track of what is being discussed when I keep missing important bits. I thought at first that photos were more likely to be delayed, but it's really a toss-up as to what will come through and what won't. It only seems to be affecting the group texts, not individual ones. I should mention, they all have iPhones. I'm the only one using Android.
As far as troubleshooting, I've tried using a different default text app, I've tried using my Google Voice number instead, and I'm currently turning off MMS in favor of mass SMS to see if that will work. I don't know what other details to give really. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
