Today my moto 360 start showing this message: "Unfortunately, Android Wear has stopped", unfortunately I can't pass this screen to do a hard reset, I have reboot the watch several times but is always the same, my phone is not connecting to the watch either.
IS there a way to perform a physical hard reset on the watch?
thanks

I installed a new ROM on my Note 3 and in order to re-pair it with the phone I reset Moto 360 and now I cannot get it paired again. In the Android Wear app it just shows as "Connecting" but I was able to pair it via Bluetooth settings. Now it is just stuck at a " Just a minute" with a circle going around. Before I started the pairing process Moto 360 was at 84% battery, so not sure if it's a battery issue.
With that said, is there any other way to pair the watch other then resetting to stock?

You may have to reset the watch a few times, I saw someone else having an issue with getting it to connect before resetting it three times.

Thanks, I got it working after resetting it few times.
Scribbled on Note 3.
Good christ mine has been a PitA to get up and running. The original update kept failing on me despite the fact it was charged to 100%.
Now, Ive reset it multiple times after the update, but i keep getting stuck on "connecting" on the phone and "just a minute" on the watch. This is after the pair code in the app and everything.
This morning I removed my SW2 device from the charger, and after noticing that my OnePlus smartphone didn't recognize it anymore I tried to reboot the smartwatch.
Since then it seems to be no longer working. The Sony logo appears, there is a loading bar for a few seconds, then the screen flashes for a moment, and it goes back to the Sony logo, and so on.
I have also tried to switch off my OnePlus completely in order to exclude any pairing bug.
I read from the web that it might be possible to force a factory reset by pressing the power button for 15 seconds, but this doesn't work for me - it simply switches the SW2 off.
By putting it again under charge I notice that it turns automatically on, but even then it remains stuck in the bootloop.
Please help, I feel like I bought just an expensive little wrist brick.
Something like this has started to happen to me to... when the watch boots the Sony logo can be either yellow.. .or blue.. or white...
Edit: Try the procedure described in this post. Only 5 mins since I did it.. but so far, so good. :highfive:
I've fixed the problem - by buying a Moto 360.
I would advise everyone to stay away from SW2. It runs a proprietary OS + proprietary software that is just not compatible with everything that is happening in the rest of the world with Android Wear, it's not compatible with all the apps released for Android Wear (and hence it's compatible with only few apps exclusively released for SW2), and in case something goes wrong for any reason (like my bootloop), it's not even possible to perform a factory reset.
Sony Smartwatch 2 stuck in bootloop after a normal reboot
anybody help????
So I noticed earlier today that the gapps were crashing on my moto 360... I couldn't use it. I did a reset of it and it repaired to my phone, which it was not pairing to earlier. Now... nothing is crashing but it's not pairing with my phone. Just says "Connecting..." Then says "Disconnected." Is my watch dead? I already reset it once and it's not working. Watch is very very hot and the battery is draining very quickly also. Dropped like 25% in ten minutes.
Everything on the watch is stock. No recovery or custom ROMs or anything.
I also have a Nexus 6 and man is my moto 360 been nothing but a headache this whole time. Im at the point where i simply hate the damn thing and would take $100 if someone wanted it. Android Wear has been nothing but a huge disappointment.
This issue stopped after I reinstalled the Wear app on my phone. Updated borked it.
My sw3 has worked for 6 months. I was having some connectivity issues with two of my apps so decided to do a factory reset and reconnect to force the apps to update. Done this at least twice successfully. But this time I go through the process...
-uninstall AW,
-reset my watch,
-reinstall AW,
-start the watch,
-open AW,
But the pairing code doesn't show on in AW...but it shows on the watch. I can connect in the phone bluetooth menu and get the "paired notification'' then the watch goes to the updating screen followed by 'syncing'. Usually this where I get the 'updating apps 3 of 23' but it just stays on syncing. At the end watch is not connected to my phone no apps are loaded. The phone is never visible in AW. Now if I go in and repair the devices it looks like they are connected but I can't.
I think something is wrong with AW.
update
I think its actually something in my phone... my wife's Samsung Note connects in AW. Why can't my Nexus 6 see the watch.
If you haven't done so already, try restarting the phone immediately after uninstalling Android Wear app on your phone. If that doesn't fix it, you may have to factory reset your phone.
working

What have you do to work again? My phone have the same problem...
Thanks.
I have to this every couple months when my phone won't connect with my phone. Some sort of bluetooth issue.
- factory reset watch
- go into android wear and remove the watch
- forget the watch in bluetooth settings
- uninstall android wear
- restart the phone
- install android wear
- restart the phone
- use wear to connect to the phone
Sometimes I have to do this twice and it might take 45 mins to update my apps.
Perfect for me.
The only issue remaining is the unexpected unlinking with the phone, but it isnĀ“t new.
Phone Bq Aquaris E6 4.4.2, watch Sony SWR50 6.0.1.
I had to send in my phone for repair (likely will take a good while since it's the holidays and all) so in the mean time I'm using an old phone but having major pains trying to get these two to work together. I get the FastConnect prompts from the PW app, though it always fails immediately after PIN confirmation, and the watch just mindlessly does that "circle going around the rectangle" searching animation, and the overlay on the phone says it failed to connect, and offers me the option to "open app." As long as the watch animation is going, the PIN codes on my phone just repeat, never going anywhere, so trying again just fails anyway due to "incorrect PIN" as they don't even display on the watch at that point.
Eventually, after maybe 5-10 mins, the watch gives up, says it "can't pair with devices," and presents only the option to "reconnect," which forces a reboot and the process to start anew once more.
I've attempted to pair it with the Bluetooth settings instead, only for it to fail there, as well.
ONE TIME I somehow got it to pair, then when I made it to the step to set up Assistant, it failed twice to do so before I opted to skip that, but it DID finish and I got to the main PW app menu. Unfortunately, I was distracted by something after messing with the Pixel Watch app on the phone, only to look back and see it was "disconnected" and my watch said it had "failed to connect," and now I'm back at square one, with a pretty paperweight strapped to my wrist. I'd like to be able to track my sleep and heart rate for the time being until my phone is repaired. Any suggestions?
Have you reset the watch to factory settings? I can only pair a watch with a fresh reset of the sotfware, I get the offer to connect and link without the reset but it always fails, and I had to remove the watch from the fitbit app as well.
Multiple times.
