Happened to me, can't remember exactly what I did to fix it... Pretty sure I charged it for a bit then held the power button down for a while. Kind of tough since the button is a pain to hold down. Should be fine, don't sweat it. Just mess with it.

As soon as it starts up drag from top right to bottom left. Follow onscreen prompts do wipe data and cache. Then re-pair the watch to your phone.

Nexus bricked after sim switch!

Hi, I hope you can help me with this...
So as I mentioned in the Header, I simply shut down my Nexus, waited for the vibration and then switched my Sim Card. Since then I wasn't able to either Boot/Fastboot it's just completely black.
I tried to take the Battery out for a few Minutes, Connected it to my Laptop without the battery(where it got recognized as Omap4400), tried to follow these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1760787 , but nothing has changed.

I'm really helpless right now, how can such a small thing like a shutdown have such consequences. I seriously did nothing else(I am on Jelly Bean/rooted).
Were have you tried pulling out the battery, put it back in, then water 10 sec then boot it to fastboot? It is almost impossable removing a similar card would brick a phone

Nope nothing. Tried now several times... had the Battery out for about 15 Minutes now and nothing happens, screen remains just black.
How old is it I would get it replaced as it sounds like something failed

This has happened to be before. All I did was take out the battery and continually pressed the power button really fast for about 60 seconds and hasn't reset on since. No reboots or sensitivity.

[Q] alochol damage

Originally had a bad volume rocker, now I have a wet screen and bricked phone.
The phone just says at this screen. I've rebuilt it several times, all the connectors are in. The only things missing are 2 screws and a rubber piece that came from behind the motherboard.
Any ideas? I get that the screen is wet, but why is the phone stuck at the logo? Recovery mode and bootloader work fine though

EDIT: I already tried flashing the custom rom again, and it took, but no luck

Note 10.1 2014 randomly dead

Hey guys, so I was just using my Note 10.1 2014 Edition (P601) today and I wanted to reboot into recovery so I pressed the power button and selected reboot into recovery. The device shut down and then I expected it to start up and go into my TWRP recovery but it did nothing. So I tried holding down the power button to start it but nothing happened, same with holding down the home+volume up+power. The tablet just does not respond and seems dead, screen or capacitive keys dont light up, nor do i hear any sounds, so thats not the problem. Ive tried charging the device even though the battery was about 70% when it died but it made no difference. Could someone help me out here, It was just working fine a few minutes ago. I dont know whats the problem :/
This may cause by cracked battery connector, some pins are open. You won't be able to boot, trying pressing on the back, near the center, location of battery connector while pressing the power button.
This is the black battery connector which may cause this problem. Re solder only takes under 5 minutes to get it done, just need to disconnect the battery cable.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus: Stuck On Emergency Recovery Screen, What Do i Do?

Okay, Well, First off, I am new here, so if i do something wrong, let me know.
I have a Samsung galaxy nexus i got from my friend a few months back, it was running android 6.0.1 marshmallow By Cyanogenmod.
Key word here: "was"
The device had been dunked into some water, (long story, dad did it) and when i pulled it out and dried it off, it wouldn't boot up android, it just stayed on the android screen for hours. i ended up removing the whole android image off it, at this point it wouldn't get passed the google boot screen (other users had this problem), so i plugged the phone into Odin and started the process of re partitioning the whole device with stock ROM and recovery. here is where buying Belkin cables caused my problem, the phone disconnected from the PC due to the cable being an ass. so now, Odin and Samsung Kies and even the nexus toolkit cannot recognize the phone cause it is stuck on this screen:

}
The phone stops me from Doing Button combinations, this screen is useful, but i need to know how to get it working.
Thank you XDA for allowing me to ask this question.
Any and all help appreciated. thanks guys!
