Problem connecting to my home wifi, NOT HIDDEN WIFI (Samsung Focus)

Hey guys! i am having som problem connecting to my home wifi with my Samsung Focus! ( my wifi is not hidden) i got my focus before 1-2 weeks ago, and in the beginning it worked about 1 hour! i mean i connencted to the wifi network! but after the conection failed and since then i can not longer connect to my home wifi ? it dose not even show the name of my network in the phone !!
If someone can pleas help me out

I had the same problem. For some reason, my wifi started to show up under different name and the phone didn't recognized it.

[Q] Unstable wifi issus in ics of arc(lt15i)

Hey guys,
I'm a user from China, so maybe have some expression problem of English, forgive this.
So, here is the problem.
I like JJ's HYBRID ROM(baseband 70) with Stock ICS Beta Kernel in the thread, but it came across that the Wifi is unstable in common use. I can connect to the router, but after some time, maybe 10m or 20m, it break into disconnect. So I went into the wifi config, the status was "obtaining ip address" or "auth", then it connected.
Also I tried other kernel like DooMKernel with wifi modules applied or Arc Night. But obviously it appears the same problem.
And I also tried the official rom. It still appears the same problem.
And I also searched the similar thread and install the wifix.apk, it also the same prolem.
Anyone can give me some help? It troubled me a lot.
Please share your solution, thanks.
Ps: There is no wifi problem in GB.

ya... many ics users reported problems regarding the wifi.

Any suggestion? It really really troubled me a lot. So yesterday I turned back to GB. But I'm still trying to figure this problem out.

Whatsapp messenger and wifi

Hi to all, i'm an italian writer and my english is too bad
I have a problem with whatsapp on my nexus, when i'm in 3G it works fine, when i'm over my home wifi is too slow to connect...
I thought it was a router problem but I changed it and the problem remained...
does anyone have any idea for that problem?

Mine is working just fine. I am running ICS Slim 3.5

I'm running stock rom 4.0.4 with the last update from google

Do you have any sort of firewall set up at your home wifi? Do you have any other problems with your internet connection at home?
I always use whatsapp in wifi and never had an issue

Any firwall at all... internet works fine everywhere in my lan. I try to use google's dns instead of provider dns and seem to works fine...

Try re installing whatsapp? That seemed to work on my friends nexus when he was having problems with it ?

[Q] Wifi problem with Touchwiz

Hi,
I've meaning to ask this a while ago but never had a chance to. I also tried looking for threads related to wifi problem with the note 3, but they all dont seem to be the same problem as the one i'm having.
Whenever I use touchwiz roms: Darthvader, Jedi, Hyperdrive. My wifi connects but would stop working after a while of not using my phone. The wifi icon says it's connected but nothing would load, I always have to turn wifi off and on to fix this problem, then when phone idle for a while then the problem would come back.
However when I use AOSP roms, the wifi is working great. Always connected like it should be. Anyone else have this problem? Is there any fix that I haven't heard?
P.S Sorry if what I said is confusing, English isn't my first language.

[Q] BIG problem! Random reboots

Please help me...
I have big problem with my phone, I bought HTC desire 816w (dual sim). After I start using it
I got some random reboots. I tried install 2 official roms which are here on xda.
It doesn´t helped. So I tried install romzj dot com/list/htc_d816w dot htm some roms from there.
It also did not help. So I was trying to figure out what the problem might be. And then I found that when I connected to wifi, and while I do something for example on the internet and the phone restarts. Therefore, the problem is when I connected to wifi.
Do you know somebody what can I do with it?

Did you ever solve this problem? I am having the same issue, as well as NFC does not work for me. Unfortunately HTC repair sent the phone back and said that since the bootloader was unlocked, they wouldn't repair it. Even though they are both clearly HARDWARE ISSUES.
