When I use my Moto 360 to send a text, at the end of the process (after I confirm to send) I get an error message saying "try again on your phone". Interestingly the text is actually sent successfully. This happens every time I send a text which is quite annoying. I tried resetting my Moto 360 but still the same issue. Anybody encounter this or know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
Mine succeeds if I try a second time (although it sends 2 texts) does that happen in your situation too?

you mean second time to the same person?
Yes

I get the same error.
I've now done a factory rest on my Moto 360 and reinstalled Android Wear and Moto Connect. After setting up everything from scratch, I still get the same error.
Is anybody else using the Moto 360 with HTC M8 here?

Hi there..
I am having a bit of trouble with messaging.. I don't know what happened to it as now every message that I send shows up before the last message received instead of being displayed after it in the threaded view.. Also the time automatically changes of the last message received in my phone instead of the original one being displayed..
Thanks!!
Are you using stock messenger or a third party app?
I am using stock messenger..

its a bug, not sure whether its Sense or Android.
download an app from the market "SMS Time Fixer", and set it to show the received message a short while ago. meaning: go to the app-> under Offset MINUTES,set it to -2 or -3, depending on how much the difference in time you usually see in your received messages.
hope this helps.
seems there's no other work around.
The difference I get is approximately an hour..

This was happening to me with the stock rom. I gave up and switched roms.

I was wondering if anyone else was having issues with the google voice app using their galaxy nexus on verizon..I am unable to send texts from the app. It just hangs at Sending.. with the little circle going around and around. It will stay at that screen for a few minutes then will say the message was canceled. I tried rebooting, uninstalling the app and nothing has fixed it. I also have tried it on 4g, 3g and Wifi. same result.

oh okay. maybe they are fixing the problem, but one platform at a time? idk
I'm so glad you posted this. I had the same issue! Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Seems to be working better though now but had problems all afternoon and into this evening.
I'm on VZW as well.

I had the same issue tonight and I just tried texting myself from GV and the text took 6 minutes for me to receive it. Something is definitely wrong at the moment.
I was also having issues last night (~5-8pm Pacific) with the app. Uninstalled, re-installed, cleared data and cache of app, all sorts of stuff. Gave up and sent from the mobile voice website and it was fine. Hours later it was working a bit dodgy. I have found that the app is much more problematic than the website or a chrome extension.
it does not work for me at all. For example, to send a text message. When I say "send text message to.....Message...Hello" there is nothing in the "to" field, everything is in the "message" field. I've seen this problem mentioned on google forums, but no answers.
I'm not sure if this is from the last update or not but I cant send a text message using the watch. It comes up, says it sending, then it says "message sent" but when I look on my phone, I don't see massage that was sent. I'm using Google hangout out app for text.
I have reset the watch and still no luck.
Thoughts?
I think this is happening for me as well. I'm on att with nexus 5.
Hummm....Maybe it after this last update?
Yeah it definitely was after the last update.
Are you using google hangout?
Yes I'm.
Its weird, it freezes my phone when I send a text. I have hit the "home" button to unfreeze it. Does this happen to you? I tried to uninstall the update but it didnt help. I even tried a different launcher instead of NOVA and still happens.
i think my next step it rest the phone, but that is such a pain!
anyone else having these issues?
Me too here. Definitely after the update. It doesn't let me reply by voice. It sucks!

I did try using it on my other phone and it seemed to work fine even after the update. Im currently in the process of wiping out my phone and restoring it to see if it fixes the issue
factory wipe and restoring with TB fixed my issue.:good:
Moto 360 and S3, Me Too...
I have just spent the most frustrating 2 days trying to get my wife's Moto 360 to send text messages.....it wont. All I get is to be told to use the phone... which loses the point of getting her the watch in the first place. It will send e-mails, but wont reply to them, it recieves texts and emails OK... and everything else works fine... I've tried everything I could think of, uninstalling, reinstalling, wiping phone cache etc, tried Hangouts, but nothing seems to work. I'm left thinking that maybe it could be the S3 operating system that is somehow blocking this? ...or maybe the standard messaging app on the Galaxy? if that's the case, is there an alternative ......that works properly! ? or could it be the mobile provider (it's 3).....or is this a UK thing?
And finally....HELP, HELP !!!!
mine works even after latest update... reply whatsapp.. but currently im looking for some kind of keyboard.. any suggestion?
I have an unlocked HTC 10 that I use on T-Mobile's network here in the U.S. The phone works great, but I notice my 10 has the same issue that the LG V20 and sometimes Sony Xperia phones have...............every like 12-15th MMS (group and/or photo) message I send out to a bunch of ppl will show that it's loading but never go through until I close my texting app (Textra) out, activate it again, and then resend it (no need to reboot fortunately).
My cousin who has the LG V20 also has this issue, and he said other apps like stock and Google Messenger still have the same problem come up too.
Is ANYONE else having this issue? If so, any resolutions?! Don't understand why it's happening cuz the majority of the time it's fine.
Thanks!

I've tried using Stock before on other phones and it usually doesn't help.
Textra (my texting app) sent an update a few days ago with bug fixes included. Since then it hasn't happened. If it does though, I'll try Stock perhaps.
Thanks!

Update: It happened again, so I switched to stock. Was fine for about a week or two, but it JUST happened again. So I'm gonna switch back to Textra. Oh well lol.............
I dont use this everyday but, for some reason my watch insists on "tap to open on phone" after issuing a "OK google, send text message to ".
It used to just confirm and give a couple of seconds to cancel the request before sending.
Anyone else?
I've already tried the obvious....restart phone and watch, also tried full unpair (watch wipe) and reconnect.
Few views but no replies, could anyone just confirm if its not happening to them?
Are you using the latest versiĆ³n of android Wear? Or are you using iPhone?
Randomly started working again, not sure what changed.
but there was an update to my phone. OnePlus 5T.
