I've been noticing that my alarm doesn't continue ringing in the morning anymore. The sound clip (stock sounds) go off for about 1-2 seconds, and then shut off. This only started to happen after Lollipop on my stock G2. The only thing that I've done to it is rooted it, but haven't messed with anything otherwise.
I have to now place five or six alarms at varying times to make sure that at least one of them goes off completely.

My Desire (Orange Uk) decided to stop vibrating the other day. Nothing could make it vibrate - I tried emailing it, changing the profile to vibrate-only, locking the phone and moving my finger over the little circles to unlock (the phone usually vibrates a little as you pass over each one), phoning voicemail (the phone vibrates as a call is answered) and powering off and on. Then, suddenly, about 15 mins after I powered on it started working again. Has anyone else had this? Perhaps you have a quicker way of getting it working again?
Update: Since then, it refuses to vibrate for phone calls/text messages/emails. I'm told I can do a factory reset and that might fix it. I don't really want to, though - not every time this happens. Any one else had this and managed to fix it?
I'll start off by saying I have a rooted R800x using the stock rom (but this problem stems back to before it was rooted).
When I turn off my screen and go to put it in my pocket, I sometimes notice the screen comes back on for no apparent reason. This is a problem because I use widgetlocker to replace my lockscreen. So, my leg will start up pandora or xiaalive unintentionally and then I have a dead battery in a couple hours because of the constant data stream (muted phone means I don't know it's running).
I'm curious if anyone else has this problem or has any solutions if they know what it could be. I don't think I'm sliding the phone enough for it to come back on. A lot of times, I notice it happens a couple seconds after I turn the screen off and move the phone down to my pocket. I always do a double take now just to make sure the screen is off before putting it in.
Thanks.
While in phone conversation I often use a speaker. For a last few weeks I have a problem. After few minutes the speaker shuts off and the phone goes to the standard (non speaker) mode. This causes of course problems because the other party can talk and if my phone is resting on the desk I cannot hear them. I haven't noticed any pattern yet but is seems like it takes about 3-5 min to turn off. This is standard phone (no root) but I have plenty of Apps. No sure what might have caused that. I was thinking about restoring to the factory setting or rooting, but this will require running some backups, etc and I really do not have time for that right now. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I've been running into a issue lately with my phone and my research has turned up nothing so I thought I'd post here. For some reason, every night my phone automatically turns on silence mode around the same time. Originally I thought it happened because of me accidentally hitting the volume buttons, but I have made it a point to make sure the the phone isn't in silence mode before putting it down and it still happens during the evening. It started happening after I upgraded Lollipop and after doing some research thought it happened due to the new interruption settings, but it still happens even after "Downtime Days" is set to "None".
I am running the stock ROM rooted. I have looked into the apps I use and none of them should be able to set the phone to silent automatically. I'm trying to fix this without doing a factory reset if only because I'm worried it won't fix the problem. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.
My phone is a non-developer version that I bought from the verizon store about a year and a half ago. I installed the OTA update from verizon a couple of weeks ago for Marshmallow and ever since I updated my phone no longer vibrates for anything. The haptic feedback vibrations have stopped, notifications and the phone ringing don't vibrate either. I've gone through all of the sound settings on the device and no matter what settings I use the phone just doesn't vibrate. Oddly enough the other day when I powered off my device and removed the battery then put it back in and turned it on the vibrations came back for only a few seconds before stopping completely again. Seems to me like there's some sort of hardware problem but I don't understand how that could've been caused by the update. Vibrations worked perfectly fine for me before updating and even though I like Marshmallow i'm starting to wish I never upgraded in the first place. I almost constantly keep my phone in Vibrate mode when i'm out and about but this update has forced me to keep my ringer on at all times now. Please let me know if there's any suggestions out there on how to fix this annoying issue!
You can do a factory reset, save what ever is important to you before do the factory reset..
