CM v11 M12 vs XNG3CAO1L7 vs NIGHTLY - Epic 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is anyone besides me still using this phone? I'm impatiently waiting for a 2015 Nexus or carrier neutral/Project Fi capable Motorola.
For the most part my phone works fine and does what I need it to do. I've been running v11 M12 since its release without any serious issues EXCEPT...
Lately I've noticed after a few days the phone will slow to a crawl. I'll open Running Apps and see a bunch of apps restarting at one time. Only a reboot will resolve the issue. I'm not running any obscure or obviously misbehaving apps and everything works fine for a few days. It doesn't appear to be 4G/WiMax related (turning it off doesn't resolve the issue).
I flashed the last milestone build, XNG3CAO1L7, without a factory reset and it seemed really buggy right away. I'm trying the latest NIGHTLY right now and it also seems a little buggy. I'd rather not factory reset, but I will if that is what it takes to resolve my issue.
Just curious about the status of anyone else running these builds. Thanks!

Galaxy Nexus Random Freezes and Reboots

I've got a Verizon G'NEX and I flashed DroidViscious's 4.1.1v1 rom with Franco's kernel about a month ago and everything was smooth sailing up until last week. I've been experiencing random instances of my screen freezing for about 10 seconds followed by my device rebooting. Upon startup right after a reboot I can enter my pattern lock and then it freezes immediately after and reboots (I can tell it's responsive during the unlocking of the pattern because of the haptic feedback). This will happen several times before I'm able to get back to the homescreen without it freezing.
I thought there was a problem with the rom since it was an older build Jelly Bean so I wiped the device and flashed the latest build of Pete's BuglessBeast using his default kernel hoping that would solve the problem. Unfortunately it didn't. I'm still experiencing these random freezes and reboots and the only way I can get it to boot without freezing is to pull the battery out for a couple of minutes and try again.
I'm wondering if the device is thinking it's getting too hot so it shuts down but I don't really have any way of knowing (it happens a lot when I'm in the car or when the phone is charging). Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is and how to resolve it? Or any ideas on how I can debug the problem myself? It's happening fairly often now when I need my phone the most.
The phone isn't even a year old so if relock the bootloader and return it to stock it should be covered under warranty still if there's a hardware issue.
Well, this problem seems to be exclusive to Jelly Bean. I reverted back to ICS and everything seems to be fine. Is anyone else having this problem with Jelly Bean roms?
yeah I get alot of random reboots and some freezes here and there. not sure what it is. but i have to gsm version gnex.

[Q] Camera keeps freezing

How do I thaw it without damaging the device?
Wild guess here, go to apps management and clear data?
Did you try any free camera app from market n check if that too is freezing?
I too have this issue with my camera app.
Tried a different one from the play store as well.
Tried not restoring apps from TB.
After I do a fresh rom flash, the camera seems to work flawlessly for around a day with some reboots in between.
Then after said time, I go to try it and it locks the phone up which I then have to do a hard reboot.
I've noticed this since the October AOKP releases, Paranoid and just tried the latest SLIM BEAN rom which are all built off of AOKP and CM so I wonder if its an AOKP issue for select (unlucky) users.
I've been trying to narrow it down as to when it happens or what changes, but so far its hard to pinpoint.
I suppose my next try would be to see if CM does it then perhaps that would indicate that its a AOKP issue

S3 Touch Jitter Problem.

So I've been having some touch problems. I've been texting, and doing normal things, but the problem still persists.
I am running Liquid Smooth RC2, JellyBean 4.2.2 with the latest GAPPS on the T999 S3.
I did not have this problem a few days ago and I was running the same rom. I got the problem yesterday so I reset, factory reset and everything with RC2 again.
Here is a video of the problem. This is just one symptom. I have other issues which includes random clicks on the touch, which activates random apps sometimes that are available on my screen, as well as jitters make things impossible to touch, as well as sometimes not being able to touch things as well. I tried moving apps on my desktop, but sometimes it wasn't responding and I'd have to wait.
Please let me know if you need anymore details.

Are you sure its not just the rom? 4.2.2 roms will have bugs since they aren't officially supported yet

CM10.2 - nothing but problems

I've been using nothing but CyanogenMod ROMs on my phones since my Epic, and have always liked the CM roms.
I was running CM10.1.3 until CM10.2 was released. Never had any problems with 10.1.3. In the past, even the RC's have been pretty much daily driver material, but with 10.2, when i flashed the RC, I had nothing but trouble. FC's all over the place. I figured it was probably because I 'dirty flashed' 10.2RC over 10.1.3, but since at the time, i didn't feel like wiping and reloading everything, i reverted to my backup of 10.1.3 until 10.2 Stable was released. When Stable came out, I wiped the phone, cache and davlik 5 times each before flashing 10.2, then re-installed all apps from play. I only restored my sms/mms and call logs.
Since going to 10.2, I have had nothing but FC's and reboots. It has spontaneously forgotten all of my email accounts, lost all my text messages and sometimes takes several tries to get it to boot (hangs on boot). There isn't an app that hasn't FC'd - dialer, messaging, gosms pro, e-mail, to highlight a few, have all had problems crashing, and when they start crashing, I have to reboot the phone for anything to work. If i use the built in torch function, i generally have to pull the battery to get the phone to work again.
BLE also doesn't seem to work, and with the overall problems, I don't know if its because it's just not working in CM in general or if it's related to the rest of the problems I'm having.
Is anyone else having similar problems, and/or does anyone have any thoughts as to why I'm having so many problems? How close to 'Daily Driver' material are the CM11 nightlies?

Just curious, you are flashing the correct gapps right? That gave me issues before.

Random rebooting?

I've had a 2013 Nexus 7 since it came out, and I never really had any issues with random reboots for the longest time. I had even rooted and was running a custom ROM/ kernel, and I had no issues.
It seemed to start once I had installed a different ROM/ kernel, while I was trying new stuff out just for kicks. I started getting random reboots, and I thought it was just the particular ROM/ kernel combination. Figured it was a bug that would get fixed in future updates, so I just tolerated it for a while. But, it persisted through the ROM and kernel updates.
So eventually, I switched ROM and kernel for something brand new, thinking I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. Nope, still got random reboots. I've jumped around to some other ROM/ kernel setups over the last couple weeks, and no matter what I'm on, I still get random reboots.
It seems to mainly happen while I'm using Chrome (though, in fairness, a majority of what I do is browsing the Internet, so...), but it's also happened once while in the camera app, and also once while the tablet was "asleep" while casting a video to my Chromecast.
It's just getting kind of annoying, at this point. Last night, it rebooted four times in the span of about 45 minutes. Is this a known issue? Are there any fixes for this?
I'm having a similar issue. I run default 4.4.4 and have found no pattern to why its rebooting.
I found a possible solution of switching to ART (instead of dalvik) in developer options. Not sure why this should work, but the tablet hasn't rebooted last day using this. Along with a factory reset (which hasn't helped), I have no real solutions. Next step for me is to reflash the default ROM again to see if this makes a difference.
Any extra tips would be appreciated.
