[EOS][ROM][UNOFFICIAL][5.1.1][jfltexx]CrDroid [Updated: 25 07 2015] - Galaxy S 4 i9505 Android Development

Hello guys! Here I am with a new ROM which I will support unofficially. This ROM is CrDroid and is very neat and fast. Got many features and luckily is BUGLESS. It took me 7hours to make it and it's totally worth it!
MIND THIS PLEASE:
Code:
#include
/*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear
* war, or the current economic crisis caused by you following these
* directions. YOU are choosing to make these modificiations, and
* if you point your finger at me for messing up your device, I will
* laugh at you.
*/
IMPORTANT:
THIS ROM IS ONLY MEANT FOR S4 I9505 (QUALCOMM EURO VARIANTS) DO NOT TRY TO FLASH IT ON ANY OTHER DEVICE IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! I WON'T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT.
BUGS:
-Ambient Display does not work
-Theres no keyboard in todays build. Please use a custom keyboard till I get the new build working
Download:
ROM
GApps: I personally prefer these because they're lightweight and have what you need; though you can use any with API level 22 (5.1.x)
SOURCE CODE:
CrDroid Android
Flashing instructions and remainders:
Please always do a clean flash when coming from another ROM
Code:
-Wipe system
-Wipe cache
-Wipe dalvik
-Wipe data
If you're upgrading then dirty flash will work
Code:
-Wipe system
-Wipe cache
-Wipe dalvik cache
Use latest version of TWRP

Ah! Sorted. Thanks for that.
Now a small bug - Settings > Display > Battery light. Go to the 'charging' setting. Just take the default colour and drag it to the bottom (red). Hit 'OK' and 'Unfortunately settings has stopped'. And the colour does not change.

To get halo working the phone must be in Phone or Phablet UI. Pull down the notification shade and you will see a new button at the top. Click it and you will have Halo. You can now switch UI if you want. If you are trying to install an app not from the Play Store you will have to disable Halo, install the app, and then enable halo; this is not a bug its security built into Android to keep any overlay from install malicious code.

Can't install Apps from unknown sources. If I have an app that I download from a webpage or via email it won't let me install it. The permissions screen will come up, but I cannot click install, just Cancel. It's a vanilla install with a full wipe, so there shouldn't be anything on there that isn't there in the install. Anyone having the same issue?

I was waiting on a gps fix i have been running Rootbox, but having reboot issues when I push the phone to its limits, I do a lot of things at once on my phone and sometimes running through apps like crazy it reboots itself, but i definitely wanted to see how halo is, i tried halo in the play store its ok, but then i tried floating notifications, and that was awesome but I don't want them to continuously sit on my screen, i rather have it not there then appear when i get a notification, kinda like Facebook's chat heads but for every app, that would be amazing, and i'm hoping this halo is like that....
No it doesn't stay in the status bar, just in the halo. That's what I was wondering though, thanks

SD Mounting works on Tim's, but network doesn't seem to work. It doesn't give you the normal options under mobile networks in settings, and going to the secret phone menu (*#*#4636#*#*) shows network mode as "Unknown," and when you try to change it there it just goes back to unknown. DHacker's build works with network though, just no SD card.
Dhacker29 has already tweeted saying that a build with working External SD will be out soon. Can't wait!

The first time I booted, yes. But usually after I set up my phone I go back and wipe dalvik/cahce one more time and sometime fix permissions. After that it has been very smooth, so far.
The only thing that I found that doesn't work is sending mms. Also no apn settings, so that might have something to do with it.

CatLog ?...

Hello I have a Noob question about CatLogs for all you I747 pros.. I am still very new to root due to some complications while rooting my device has become a bit sluggish and frezzes up quite often no matter what ROM I am on the same issue occur I all ways do fresh installs with Full wipes every time. I heard that a CatLog would narrow down the problem am kinda tired of having to factory rest in hopes of stability . Only issue is I don't know how to do or use..
Can someone please explain CatLog and Debugging are the apps or Via PC?
Am currently running Gummy ROM nightly 3/4 4.4.2 with its stock kernel have the Att locked(4.3 bootloader) this is where it all went wrong.. Wife took Att 4.3 OTA update and broke 4.1.2 root and locked in to Safe Mode and disabled Download and Recovery Mode. Dam Knox took me weeks of research to fix. I had rooted after buying it for her and could not decide on rom. Any who she now hold my S4 hostage till I can get this S3 under control. Thanks in Advance.

Nightlies started a few nights ago. Not all features are included yet and there are a few bugs. Check the existing pac thread in the original development section. If you try it make sure to go to call settings and disable the non intrusive setting otherwise you won't be able to receive calls.
