Hello.
HTC One M8, stock ROM.
When I do long press on HOME button, I got half a circle with icons to launch apps. How do I remove all shortcuts from there, or, even better, disable the circle completely ?
Got Exposed installed if it can help.
That ring was empty for one year, but my phone had a bug yesterday night, and some icons were introduced in there; forgot how I removed them all last year.
Thanks.

Hello, I recently installed htc home on my wm6 8525 (running At&t official wm6) and want to disable the clock that appears on the upper right corner of the phone while on the today screen. I used HTC Custom and under the "clock display" feature i enabled "none". Upon restart the clock gets disabled but part of my signal icon is also deleted so i see just half of the signal icon and a gap where the time used to be displayed at. Is this a glitch? or Is there another app available to try to disable the time? Thanks in advance.
One of my coworkers showed me the Verizon Gnex he had gotten the day before. I scrolled through the homescreens, went into the app drawer and scrolled through it, went back to the homescreen and pulled down the notification bar and swiped away the notifications one by one, said "Cool", and handed it back. A minute later he showed me his phone and it had no icons on any of the homescreens OR in the app drawer. So I rebooted the phone for him and handed it back. When it came up he said they were all back, but after a minute they disappeared again. You could still scroll through all the homescreens (evidenced by the aspect of the wallpaper changing) and enter the app drawer, but there were no icons anywhere.
I did not have time to look into it at the time since this was at a luncheon, and he left after lunch, but afterwards I searched the net to see if anyone else had a similar problem and only found a reference to an SGSII missing all the homescreen icons which was solved by doing a battery pull. I am not sure if he had already gotten the OTA update.
Anyone else seen this?
Hello,
my H815 finally received the Marshmallow upgrade this morning, and since then, every time it turns on the (now called) Do Not Disturbed mode, a constant notification appears both in notifications and the lock screen, which is impossible to dismiss.

Not to mention they moved the Star icon to the leftmost side, if Twitter hadn't changed their "favorites" to "likes", I'd have two identical star icons on the left...
Is there any way to dismiss this notification??
Thanks!

Hi everyone, i just bought my first mate 20 x phone and its been great so far, ive come from the samsung s8+, but im just having a few problems and hoping you guys have some ideas..
1. Can we change the Lock screen settings? ive noticed theres a camera shortcut on the bottom right, also ive tried a different theme which removes the shortcut but now leaves multiple shortcuts on the bottom when i swipe up, it has the calculator, stopwatch etc.. i could remove all this on the s8 lock screen settings.
2.The other problem ive been having is the android setup keeps popping up asking me to connect to my wifi, which it already is and will not let me press next, will it be okay if i just disable this?
thanks for your help guys
EDIT---------
ok so ive done some research and it looks like we cant mess around with the lock screen shortcuts etc, hopefully in a new update we can, as for the android setup problem, i just disabled this and the phone has been working fine so far.
A couple of days ago, my HTC 10's "swipe down to expand notifications" gesture completely stopped working in all apps except launchers.
In both my chosen launcher, Nova, and the stock HTC Sense launcher, it still works. Having found that some buttons in full-screen games which are right at the top of the screen are also unresponsive, it seems that the top strip of the screen has become unavailable, except in launchers.
This bug appeared spontaneously - the phone was bought unlocked and stock and runs an unmodified Android 8.0.0. It has survived a power cycle and a phone reset.
Can anyone tell me what has happened and how to correct it? I've Googled the bug but found nothing helpful.
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed.
