Hi guys i'm currently on CM12 and I get around 5 Hours SOT I was wondering if there is a way to get better battery life?
Thanks!
Open the case and remove the battery (cable connection too) from the tablet. After an hour or so connect the battery again; you will notice good improvement (8h SOT).

Hey guys,
I know that bump charging dramatically improves battery life. I also know that it kills your battery. However after doing just one bump I have dramatically increased battery life. Sitting at 70% when I would be at ~40% normally. I was just wondering if just doing 1 bump is as bad as the normal 3+ method. I am hoping it won't degrade my battery because there is still room left to charge.
Can anyone comment on this?
Hello guys,
I have a GSM Galaxy Nexus running the latest Android 4.2.1 Officialy from Google. I hae bought an original extended battery for it, but the issue is that it seems that it holds less juice than the original one, that came with the phone.
With the default battery, i get around 3 hours of screen on and with the extended one, i barely get 2:40 minutes. Tried this a couple of times.
What's the matter with it ? Do i need to calibrate it somehow ?
I have the same battery and had the same issue. After using it for about a week it started working better. What I suggest is charge it all the way up and then use it until it completely goes dead then fully charge it again. Do this a few times then you should notice the difference which isn't huge but I'm averaging about 4-5 hours more than standard now.

With Li-ion batteries, this should make no difference what so ever. It should get better over time. From what I've researched, you should never let a li-ion battery fully die. When it hits 20% - 30% fully charge and then don't charge again until you hit 20%. There are only so many charging cycles on a battery.
You might have something constantly running in the background that is eating your battery. Try juice defender, it drastically improved my stand by time.
What i was saying:
The stock battery holds a charge of ~3 hours of screen on time
The extended battery holds a charge that lasts less than 3 hours witch is strange because it haves a bigger capacity.
Is there any way to reset the baattery stats ? Or to reset the battery count ? Something like that ?
The whole "wipe battery stats" thing found in CWM is useless. Confirmed to be by a developer at google.

I see. Anything else i can try ?
I have installed Cyanogenmod in my S4 Mini Duos and everything works great but... my battery is draining so fast! From what I've seen, the major battery drainer is the "Standby Cell", as it takes out from 20 to 30% of all the energy of my phone. My cellphone's battery life was lasting 2 days when using stock Android, now it only lasts 20 hours. One thing to note is that: when in airplane mode, the battery lasts much longer, but I don't want to always keep switching the airplane mode on and off during all the day.
Any possible solutions on this?
Anyone?
Hi , i got a note 4 from rogers for now 2 years. My old battery was dead so i bought a new battery. I got a lexmar 3400 mah from best buy.
But i still got battery drain. Nothing was done today on the cell phone except. Sms, some internet search and 1 hour of songza music.
And im about 28% left for 3.5 hour of use...
Is the battery truly 3400mah? The only 3rd party battery that's trustworthy is anker so I'd start by seeing if the battery is legit before going further
Wifi is possessed, battery drain
My wifi is going crazy ! When I try to turn off the wifi it keeps turning it back off and on again. It can stay on with no problem. Because it keeps turn on and off its killing my battery life, anyone else experience this or better yet found a fix ?
Hi y'all,
I've flashed about a week ago the latest open beta of OOS on my OP3. For a few days my battery life was awesome in my regular usage (Browsing, Some social networking, a bit of reddit and some listening to music on roads and at work). I've been able to reach 6-7hr sot easily but after it came the fall, My battery life went inconsistent. Can't even reach 5 hrs of SOT on one single charge and my usage stayed the same. Now i know a lot of you saying SOT isn't a metric for battery life, but note that also my standby time/drain is worse.
Any ideas? I'm listening to music via spotify (offline) if that matters.
latest beta has pathetic battery life for ur info brother
Can you share your Battery Usage stats ?
I have heard many a times , after dirty flashing or upgrading some apps tend to utilize more battery .. the biggest defaulter is Google Photos .. Uninstall that and check again if you have .. this much of battery drain means you have wake locks ..
can tell better after seeing the consumption
the latest OB12 has great battery life for me, best i have had since i had the OP3 since launch day, I used to get about 1 day with about 4hr OST, i always had to charge every day, now i have about 6hr OST and about 2 days between charging, must have been a good flash, it sucks b/c i am a flashaholic
