Rooting Lollipop on Tab 3 8.0 - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm considering updating my Tab 3 8.0 wifi to Lollipop, but first I want to know if anyone here has been able to root their device after flashing a non-rooted version of Lollipop. I tried to find a rooted version, but all I could find so far was what looks like a non-rooted stock ROM for Android 5. Stock is fine for me because I have so many games on my Tab, I could use all the room I can get, which means installing on the non-safe side and only using nandroid for backups. If there are any who have flashed a non-rooted stock Lollipop, have they been able to root it, and if so, did anyone try the method that's been around for Kit Kat? Thanks in advance. Oh, on a side note, has anyone tried to mirror their Tab 3 8.0 to a Samsung smart TV, specifically the H series? In the past I've been able to mirror my device to Samsung's F series smart TVs, but for whatever reason, I keep getting a hardware error when trying it on my TV, which is odd because my S4 works just fine, even though it's been around for about as long as the Tab 3.

There is no stock ROM lollipop for tab3 8.0

Actually, I've found a couple links that lead to one, but I haven't downloaded it yet. This is the link I found: http://soft-business.com/androiddevice-31255.html.

The ROM file downloaded from this site is ".exe": probably is a malware

[Q] Official Samsung galaxy w i8150 jellybean please

I've been trying to find official jellybean firmware for my samsung G w i8150 but it proved very difficult till i found this file: Android 4.1.2 XXAMH2.zip only problem is the host (hotfile) has been closed
so please does anyone here have the update file or any other official firmware for sgw? (ICS or anything newer will do).
i have tried many custom roms and they're nice but i feel like going back to an official frimware just not the boring aging gingerbread.
thanks in advance
Latest official firmware for wonder is 2.3.6 jellybean, with value pack, which is an update to put some improvements and face unlock from ics, but it's still jb and Samsung won't update our w anymore. Here you can check for all official firmware http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-I8150&pcode=0#firmware

Don't EVER flash an ICS+ ROM that claims it's an official Samsung update on your Galaxy W. The last official update, like chris096 said, was 2.3.6 Gingerbread. You'll most definitely brick your device.
However, check around the Android Development section. There are some great ROMs around that look identical to Samsung's TouchWiz.

Xposed framework for LG d722

I would like to install xposed on LG g3s d722. But the official website link to the APK doesn't work ... You could give me the link to download it? (I have a custom firmware resurrection remix version 6.0)

MM .189, can I update ?

Hello guys. My zenfone is actually running Dirty Unicorn ROM. I'd like to go back stock. Doing this, I would actually go back to the original MM official version(.134).
I've heard that before flashing the latest .184, I first need to update to .144, then to the last one, but I also know that this version was released just for Brazilian model, which it's not mine. If I flash .134, then will I receive the OTA or I will be able to flash the update or I first need to update someway to .144 ?
Thanks.

Tab E Lite

Picked up a Tab E Lite (SM T113) which when connecting to the xda, says the tablet is a Tab 3..
Wondering how similar these two tablets are... (the 7" versions specifically). I was able to root my tablet using an autoroot within the tab 3 threads but wasn't able to get TWRP installed.
Any input?
Was able to finally load TWRP using Odin.
Any luck? I've got a stack of these Tab E Lites that need to get upgraded to support an app that I need, but there's no official update. Fingers crossed that I can actually get these working again...

Though the links state it is for SM T116 they work perfectly fine for SM T113. Have verified success on SM T113 using the links above with no issues.
After the above has been completed, recommend installing xposed framework for additional tweaks.

They're the same tablet but rebranded.
This entire conversation is depressing. Does anyone know what NEEDS to happen to get custom rom development going on this?
Please and thank you.

There needs to be developers (that are willing to compile ROMs) but there is a LineageOS 14.1 port for the SM-T113NU (basically the same tablet) that has everything (except the camera) working.
