[Q] [D855] CyanogenMod 12.1 - "Android is starting... Optimizing app" - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been using for the last few weeks the latest official nightlies on my LG G3 D855, downloaded from the CM site:
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=d855
At random times, every 2-3 days, the phone reboots by itself and I have to wait several minutes while the message "Android is starting... Optimizing app" is shown on the screen.
Has anyone experienced the same problem and has found a solution?

P930 nightlies flashed (05.25) stuck with bluescreen

Hi there,
I have a very big problem after flashing the nightlies from the 05.25.
The LG Logo shows up twice and no cyanogen bootscreen is showing up - instead i see a bluescreen. The mobile is not stuck, it boots into the system (I get text and stuff) but I can't see a thing.
I don't have USB debugging turned on nor is it possible to boot into recovery (holding down Vol-Down never worked - I always start recovery from within the app).
Help would be appreciated
i posted your fix on nightlies discussion page check there
i got the same error
i had try Pac-Rom and aokp nightly both result on a blue screen after boot
I currently running aokp_p930_milestone-6 HONO

Official KitKat update problem

So today my phone tells me there's a new official system update to Android 4.4 KitKat. It was already downloaded so I just started the install. After it finished my phone restarted as it's supposed to. When it gets to the screen after the boot animation that says "Android is upgrading" and optimizing apps, it just restarts. It's still restarting as we speak. Sometimes before it gets to that screen. Is there anything I can do to save it without wiping it and starting fresh?

Nevermind, after many many restarts it stayed on the optimizing apps screen and it's finishing it up now

[Q] LG G3 (D855) crashing.

Hi
My LG G3 (completely stock) seems to be broken after updating to lollipop (OTA).
After the update, the phone seems to function fine for a few minutes but then it freezes for at couple of seconds and then shuts down. I have tried to downgrade to 4.4.2, but the same thing happens. Has anybody experienced the same problem?

Nexus 5: Stuck At Logo After CM Update

Nexus 5 - Logo screen struck
Hi,
I received a notification about an update to my Nexus 5 running CM. I only realized the update was in fact a nightly build after I clicked to apply it (I had also previously downloaded that build). If I'm not wrong the build was "cm-12.1-20151023-NIGHTLY.." Anyway.. I left it updating and went to bed. Today I noticed the phone was stuck in the initialization screen, the one that appears right after Google logo.
Any advice to solve this ? Maybe reverting the build ?..idk. Don't feel like wiping my phone again :/
Cheers!

LG G3 d855 rooted (sudden demigod TZ-Kernel crash)

So..I have this d855 2gb 16gb variant.
It is rooted,it has cyanogenmod 13 nightly with kernel adiutor(with cpu governor set).It worked like a charm (3 months till the last update).
Today I launched youtube app and all of sudden it restarted..and it kept restarting in a bootloop.( he passes lg logo and enters the android one and after 10 15 sec it reboots.)
I tried to charge it,change batteries but with no luck.
I deleted dalvik cache and cache..but still nothing
then I tried to flash again the rom and there the phone gives me 35% of the times demigod:TZ crash with green screen.. and the other times demigod:Kernel crash.
I decided to delete kernel adiutor folders hoping for a luck..nein. ( using twrp)
I can access TWRP,it works fine but when flashing sometimes it gives me that demigod errors.
I can pass the LG logo but it gets stuck at android logo then restarts..or at finalizing/preparing apps.
baseband-modem: 21C

UPDATE:
Windows detects my phone as "LG Android Usb Device".
UPDATE2:
after leaving it resting one night it booted.
i still need help fixing it because it's not normal.
It worked fine from 6am till 1pm.
Now it freezes and restarts randomly.
need help guys..
Flash stock rom and test for crash couple days. If still crash, then if your G3 has still warranty to service. Probably MB broken.
If no crashing then root and flash rom

Unfortunately it gave me demigod: hw reset and no longer wants to load TWRP or download mode.
It restarts at the logo or at the android loading. I'll give a shot for the warranty.
