GS4 Camera Features?

Those cool features are software only right? Would it be possible to integrate them in the future?

Yeah, it would be possible. Just start porting it over! I'll try to work on it too.
Just got my GS4 the other day, and the camera is a hundred times better than the OG. The OG is a great phone but I don't miss the camera at all.

[Q] Chances of LG updating the G Pro at all?

What do you guys think, will LG even update this phone anymore? to any version, or even another OTA value pack that will bring the cool updated features of the LG G2. The reason I'm asking is because I'm fine with stock right now, but I would love to have the speed boost of a newer version of android, that's the only thing keeping me from rooting and "Roming"? again if they still plan on updating this awesome phone than I have no reason to root and rom. What do you guys think?

If I'm honest, I'd say we MIGHT, slim chance MIGHT, see an update to 4.2. Or maybe just a Value Pack update to bring over some features of the G2.
The advertising for our device was botched, and LG even admitted to it. So, the popularity of this device, isn't as high as it should. I wouldn't expect another update, but then again, LG has surprised me before.

I don't see Lg updating the gpro specially with the Lg g X soon to be out for sell, which is exactly the same phone as the gpro spec wise. I hope Lg proves me wrong but for now Im planning on rooting my gpro rather soon. It's a shame the phone was only an at&t exclusive here in the states or else it would have been much more popular and had more support from at&t.
Is there good support for CM out there? Because of the missing sources I assume, because LG isn't releasing them, I guess.

Yeah download DOT cyanogenmod DOT org/?device=e980&type= there is a stable release for CM 10.2 right now which is 4.3.1. and nightlies for CM 11 which is 4.4.2 or Kit Kat.
And can I flash them if they are not for my device anyway? Because the LG Optimus G Pro isn't supported yet is it?

I don't have enough post under my belt to give out links just yet but try this
download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=e980&type=
just highlight it and than right click it than go to link
Another option, if you don't want to flash a custom rom: stock rom + root + xposed framework ☺

What can I do with this xposed-framework?
Gesendet von meinem LG-E986 mit Tapatalk
There is a leaked version on 4.2.2 China version floating around the forums, but it is way too buggy to try on other variants. We may see an official 4.2.2 update in the near future, but due to US carriers like AT&T who do like like pushing updates to phones that are not their flagship device, we may nit see that update. But, we can only hope and wait.

You can get certain features that are available in custom ROMs such as Nav bars, Advanced power menus, tweaks to the status bar, tweaks to lockscreen, you name it. Be careful though some of these won't be compatible so I suggest using the gravity box module. It has everything you may need

there are a few models of the LG Optimus G and i doubt LG's update is a global release since some operators may want to change something before sending it out over OTA in their country.

That is correct, but as soon as they release rom developers can work on porting rom, making it available to all of us

yeah, but with custom roms i still get BSOD sometimes, it can worry alot during a week and it's annoying, that's why i may give the original rom a change again when LG updates til Kitty Kat.

I usually use those moded official roms on my phones. They are rooted and deodexed which gives me flexibility, but still they are stable since they use manufacturer's code

Can anyone port MIUI to HTC M9

Hi I would like to know if anyone tried porting MIUI to HTC M9
Miui miui miui ?
i want it also...
Very doubtful at this point, and even if they did the camera would almost certainly not work. You can get a launcher which looks just like miui but a full Rom is far from a reality .
can't find miui launcher...
I could certainly try

I'll try too but will probably end up with ms-dos

That would be fantastic....let me know if u need help.
Tried the APK from the official website. Need to make an account. Doesn't run, force closes straight away. Fyi the camera for non sense roms is now working so that's something. Also miui was actually ported to the m8 and the m7 before it.

That was thanks to the GPE models.
Since it's working here, it can be ported. Might take a while, but love the interface.
Is it not possible to port it from CM13?

yes because of "steady shot" feature in v10.. but unfortunately it works only in 1080p capturing

Where did you get that info? New chipset?...
It has nothing to do with hw, it is simply OIS like in G4, but in V10 it is paired
with DIS (digital image stabilization - a software feature). FYI, V10 has the same identical soc and camera like G4...

Not DIS.. it's EIS.. electric image stabilization.. and also it works with OIS in capturing video in 1080p in "steady" option
