Pebble - Connection Issues - Verizon HTC One (M9)

Anyone else using a pebble with their M9?
I seem to randomly have issues with the connection to my phone. If I turn Bluetooth off/on it will reconnect ok.
I just got the pebble for Father's Day and have only used it with my M9.
The Pebble is awesome by the way. Big time saver for me.

I don't have any connection issues between my Pebble and my M9. It disconnects when I get out of range and usually reconnects on it's own within a minute or two of getting back in range. I have had a few random disconnects with immediate reconnects (a few seconds later), but nothing that needed intervention to get it to reconnect. My Pebble is one of the original models (it's almost two years old now) if that helps any.

Thanks. I am thinking that the App I was using (Pebble AllinOne) was to blame for some of the issues.

A tale of 2 phones -data connection

I know this has been mentioned a hundred times over i just wanted to share my experience:
I'm lucky enough to have 2 galaxy nexus in the house. My wife got one from costco and 2 weeks later I got mine from amazon. I got to play with her phone for a couple of weeks and was excited about mine. Her phone had decent 4g coverage. Her phone had very few data connection drops in those 2 weeks, so when I got my phone I was expecting something on par with her phone. My phone data connection sucks compared to hers. My phone will lose connection several time s a day. The worse is at night when my phone will lose connection and won't reconnect and the battery will quickly drain...while sitting next to my wife's phone which has no problems.
I was just thinking there must hardware issues?? Her phone works quite well while my mine has a crappy connection.
We are both are on stock. Hers is not rooted, mine is. I just updated my radio today and it seems to have improved my signal. I never saw 2 bars before, but now I've seen it a couple of times. I never see two bars on my wife's phone but she hardly ever loses connection (I check her phone frequently everyday)
fyi...
I'm having amazon send me a replacement...
Do you have the same carrier?
Are you using any apps that run in the background? You seem to be a tweaker (having rooted and everything), so I'm wondering if you haven't overtweaked the device with apps. Any 'battery' management or data connection apps?
I had a similar issue. Wife's GN was fine overnight while my own,;sitting a few feet away in the same room, showed a complete loss off signal from 1am on, causing the battery to drain completely.
The VZ rep told me the phone was probably defective, so I returned that phone, got another one with a bad screen and am now on my third unit.
This third phone seems OK, but even it was showing a bizarre loss of mobile data. I say bizarre because the status screen would show a reasonable RSSI of -83 and eHRPD:13 for the network but it would sometimes take as much as 10 minutes to actually connect.
I was using Juice Defender when I was having issues with this third phone. On a hunch, I removed that app and haven't seen the problem since. I'll probably throw JD back on sometime this week to see if the problem reoccurs.

1X and SE MW-600 stream cuts off

Like the titel says... It cuts off randomly for a secod and then continues. Tried to wipe the profiles and re-pair them, no difference.
Anyone else got the same issue on this paticular model or any other BT unit?
I've only had mine for a couple of weeks but I use it every day. I haven't noticed it cutting off. My complaint is that they have the cord with the plug going upwards (towards the earbud) instead of pointing downwards since most people would clip the BT unit on their shirt.
Other than that (oh! and the stupid volume controller - WTF?!?) I like it and it's worth the $40 I spent on Amazon since I can always replace the earbud portion of it.
I know what u meen But I like this BT unit. The battery last whole day with heavy use, and I can be discreet hiding it. Some think it is an mp3 player And the range is incredible. I Can run around in my office complex 50m away from my 1x laying on my desk.
Did some diggin about my issue. Apparently, the stream clips when you have wifi on, transmitting data at the same. unless you are using 5GHz on the network. BT are on 2,4GHz, same as most wifi.
Edit: it cant be right... Have to do some more diggin
Mines seemed ok but my WiFi was off IIRC. I'll need to check.

LG G3 Blue tooth with fit band.

Well I got myself a fit band of the Garmin variety, only issue is I have to constantly reconnect the blue tooth by toggling the blue tooth on and off when I'm away from my phone for more than 2 minutes, anytime within the 2 minute or so it reconnects on its own......is there a setting I can add to build.prop that will automatically reconnect it once its lost for a longer period of time ?

GPS signal lost while navigation

I just did my first long drive after the Lolipop update, and while using the navigation I noticed that every few minutes the voice keeps saying "GPS signal lost" and the navigation loses its way for a few seconds.
This is happening on a road where I never had any issues while using navigation on Kitkat. Is this happening to anyone else?
I've checked my location settings and everything seems on, with high accuracy, so I'm not sure what else I can look for...
I have the same issue. I drive 5 hours a day and the GPS signal seems to get lost a few times an hour for a few seconds at a time. I did not have the problem with Kit Kat.
Happens a ton here. I went through 7 Note 4's trying to resolve it, they all did the same thing. I finally just accepted it and live with it. Some days it's perfect and no dropouts, other days it will drop out every couple of minutes and stay dropped out for a minute or longer, I've gotten lost/taken the wrong turn, etc. a lot when it drops during navigation.
Do you have a metallic coated windshield? I have an Audi with a metallic coated windshield and came to the conclusion that the Note 4's GPS is weaker than the Note 3's and that weakness coupled with my windshield is why I have issues. I haven't really had the chance to test it in another car with a regular windshield. I just ordered a GPS repeater for my car and will report if this helps when I get it next week.

It's a regular windshield, but this is happening with the same exact car as when I was on kitkat, so I don't think it's car related but Lollipop related. I hope we get some sort of OS update soon!
Could it be the battery saving mode that's causing this? I have the same issue on my S7 and it started happening after the OS upgrade. However, it gave me a notification about saving battery and I was messing around with it. Also I read on another forum that when the screen is off, people are noticing this? Anyone experiencing same thing? I am going leave the screen on tomorrow to see if it still occurs.

Bluetooth Concerns

I have 2 issues with Bluetooth on this phone. (Verizon version)
First, it does disconnect and occasionally with my Kinova head set. (Never with the M8)
Second, it has horrible range compared to my M8. I put the 10 in the exact same spot on my toolbox at work as my M8 with the same headset and I don't get nearly the same range as before. I honestly could go about 30-40 yards with the M8, I am lucky to get 15-20 with the 10, sometimes it even breaks up just 15 feet away! One of the greatest things I personally liked about the M8 was how far bluetooth range was.
Hopefully there will be an update to improve this.
I agree BT is kinda ****ty. It doesn't totally lose connection to my truck stereo but it starts to glitch out if I handle the phone while streaming music has to be put down to keep a solid signal

that's odd, I cant comment on the range. but ive streamed for a couple hours, while using as a mobile wifi hotspot along side the streaming, while driving on a long drive and it didn't have one hiccup, worked the whole time. also received a couple calls that switched over audio perfectly to the stereo speakerphone and then switch back to music without issue.
BT audio is used everywhere I go in my car, I cant stand normal radio.
I have Verizon version
It could be my radio i have an alpine 265bt but it also happened in my wifes Malibu 2015 on stock radio also. It will stream fine if i just set it down but once i start using the phone will streaming it seems to interupt the signal. Its weird i have to kinda shake the phine to stop the glitch

I've also found the range to be rather poor, and also sometimes connectivity is temperamental about what it will connect with.
BT has worked well for me. At least in my car, it's probably the best sounding implementation I've used to date.
My problems have been with the WiFi - all the problems you guys have mentioned.
BT Power
Another thing I'm noticing is that in the battery-usage stats, BT power consumption is considerably higher than the Screen's!
On my M8, it never mattered whether I left BT on or off as far as battery life was concerned.
FYI Alpine recently released a bt firmware update for my 149 that really helped. I've had excellent luck thru many portable speakers like TDK and SB roar2 but the car was glitchy. Now it's smooth and fast. No issues here

BT loses connection
I have a similar problem but it happens when
1) Phone lose signal due to poor cell signal.
2) When Wi-fi automatically connects (when I drive into my garage).
When this happens internal speaker kicks in. Only way to fix this issue is to disable and enable Bluetooth.
