Hi
Since i have rooted (S-OFF'd) and flashed my phone with the LeeDroid ROM my phone keeps turning off on its own. I know its not the ROM that is at fault, as i have flashed it to another DHD and it works fine.
Is there anyway i can flash the original ROM back onto my phone?
Also is there a way i can un-root my phone and turn off S-OFF?
Thanks
download the correct WWE RUU and run it, that will revert your phone back to stock and you can start again.
Good Luck,

hello everyone,
im having problem with my htc desire hd whereas i have owned for nearly 2 years warrenty is out so its all good.
recently rooted my phone and installed battery calibration to check if my battery is healthy and so so after that i want to unroot it so i can go back to my original rom unfortunately i could not be able to after my sd card has been formatted ...
before it got formatted i had 4 backups that i can go back to but all is same that has clockwork mod still visible and its not even going to let me clear it out ..
i have been going through this xda forums to find out any latest or original stock roms and all seems quite confusing..
can someone help... or point out where to go?

Is there a reason you want to unroot, especially since you're out of warranty? You can go back to stock without unrooting. The Desire HD Development forum has a sticky thread indexing available ROMs. At the bottom of the first post, there's a "RUU and stock" section. There are several rooted stock ROMs for the Desire HD available there, including this one (which I believe is the latest).
i dont mind if its unrooted or rooted..
but just want to keep a backup of the original stock rom for the htc desire hd incase
having it unrooted and install original rom of htc desire hd so i can get original updates ... and trying out how to delete all the bloatware im still new but still learning from it
just last night i installed jellytime 4.1.1 ... very nice android.. but camera paranoma isnt working perfect.. and i dont see google play on it..
so have to manually download .apk files and load it on sd card then install the apps i wanted...
HTC Desire HD won't get any more official updates from HTC, so the best best thing you can do is the keep it rooted or stay on a custom rom.

For Jellytime you need to install Google apps (including Play Store) separately. It's linked at the bottom of the first post in the Jellytime thread.
And like the above post says, we aren't getting any more updates.
To delete bloatware, get a file manager with root access (I use Solid Explorer) and delete them from /system/app.
Hello!
I own a HTC oneX since 2 months and i decided to flash a JB rom, the ARHD 15 one. But i wonder if i have to update my Hboot. My current Hboot is 1.12 and its not rooted yet, also not a unlocked boot loader.
If i flash 1.33, because my cid is E11.. can i downgrade if needed or isnt that needed in the future when i want to have the official HTC Jellybean rom?
and from which point am i losing my date which is on the phone? ofcourse when flashing a new rom, but also when i use a custom kernel?
Thanks in advance!
It'll wipe the phone when you unlock.
You do need the updated hboot.
You cannot downgrade it, but that's not necessary to install the OTA.
unlocked boot loader and it lost its data.. still need to know what to do with hboot. and when i lose data again!
Search the forum mate, there are very good guides to do everything you are after
From personal experience I would use my phone a bit longer before messing with it. My first one didn't workout of the box and my second one was fine.... For 7 months then suddenly died, completely... No charge, no turn on, stuck in apx mode.... Was working when I left to take my dogs for a walk but when I got home (had left phone at home) it was dead
Is in for repair now but waiting to see how I go warranty wise
ah okej.. thing is , i really need the extended battery life that comes with jellybean and a custom kernel cause its annoying.. even with 3 hours screen on time.
You won't get much better than 3 hours screen time

Correct me if I'm wrong, but only SENSE JB roms require updated hboot. (can flash AOSP JB roms on lower hboot)
Once you update your hboot, you can't go back. From what I understand, the main issue with that is that you can't flash AOSP roms on a JB hboot without using a special boot.img and even with that GPS may not work. Other than that, you can flash ICS rom while on a higher (JB) hboot.
FWIW, I wish I did not have an updated hboot (1.23).

Hi,
I've recently unlocked my phone, rooted it and flashed it with InsertCoin 5.0.3 attempting to convert it into a GPE but failed at S-OFF. I now want to convert it to the original state as I want to get OTA updates and I want it to be completely stock. I accidentally wiped the stock rom when I installed the custom rom. I'm not too experienced with this kind of stuff and would like to go back. Is there any way around my mistake? I've tried searching but not too sure what I'm looking for.
The guide I used was htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-to/convert-your-htc-one-m8-into-google-play-edition-0154471/
My M8 is a UK model on EE.

Trying to relock the phone and return to stock.
Started with just replacing the recovery with stock and was hoping to just do the OTA that bell made avail a few days ago.
Phone would not take the update since it's missing in my insert coin rom.
Downloaded

from stock nand back up section.
Do I just put that on the sd card and reinstall a custom recovery to restore back up then put stock recovery back on? Will it mess up since my build is different? Scared to tweak it any further. Gotta send out phone when I get it back to stock do to a camera lense issue.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Been looking thru the forum and too many variants.
***Restored that nand listed above. Phone proceeded to update to 4.3 then 4.4. Now on 5 and all seems well. If someone else does this, I lost wifi when 4.3 update went on. Regained wifi on the next update. ****
