[Q] Can I convert my VM SIII to sprint - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm not sure if it is possible, but can i convert my virgin s3 to sprint throgh odin?

What do you mean? Do you want to activate your VM s3 through sprint? If so, just call Virgin Mobile and ask them to unlock your phone, and then activate it through sprint.

Doesn't work that way with cdma phones. They will let you add a sprint phone to virgin or boost, but sprint won't let you add a virgin or boost to sprint. The only way it would work if the s3 was originally for sprint. Same phone, but the mei numbers are what get you.

No, I meant the software. like NJ3>ND8 virgin software to sprint

Sprint Diamond On Vzw

Hello is it possible under verizons open network policy to activate a sprint diamond on VZw? Or no because of the Pri? And it not having a vzw rom equivalent?

Unlock Inc for use on Sprint?

I did a search but didn't see any recent information.
I have the Droid Incredible on Verizon, rooted, S-off, custom ROM installed. Is it possible to unlock it and use in on Sprint's network? If so could someone lead me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
Does sprint use sim cards? If so, than no you cannot.

What you need to do is to flash a sprint prl and have sprint add the ESN to their database.
Flashing prls is the easy part, having sprint add the esn to their database is the "not going to happen" part.
Other methods involve delving into the underground worlds of cloning, e.t.c, which is a no-no around here.

Only AT&T or T-Mobile are GSM in the US but not sure about their policies on activating phones you did not buy from them. I think you also have to unlock the phone from its current carrier. Not sure if you could buy a sim card for Virgin Mobile or other pay-as-you-go providers and use it or not. Not even sure sim cards are available in the US to just put in a phone like they are overseas?
GSM vs. CDMA
The few phones that I know of in the US that are GSM (Sim Card company's) are AT&T, T-Mobile, Nextel, And Boost. The CDMA ones are Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular Virgin Mobile and tracfone straight talk and a couple other pre-pay guys. I do know that in some parts of the US that you can use a straight talk phone on verizon and vice-versa. Sprint and Nextel phones can be used on boost (Nextel if you can get a sim card from boost. ) Tracphone, Net10 and Straight talk are "leach" phones to the best of my knowledge. They use whatever service is around according to a built in code list. Hope this helps! Google is great for this kind of research.

Cricket wireless

I have a Samsung Galaxy s3. I plan on making Cricket wireless as my carrier. They are affiliated with AT&T. My question is how will i be able to root and flash roms with Cricket as my carrier? Do I use the AT&T thread for the s3? Anyone's help would be appreciated.
Cricket is indeed a At&t subsidiary so by all means a att s3 will work on cricket. And just continue to use your phone as you normally would......just keep those cricket apns with ya and the cricket Sim and you should be golden.....and yes if you have a att s3 then continue using att Roms like you normally would

No, unfortunately the GN4 is not unlockable in the U. S. It can be unlocked for international use but not in the US. Your stuck with sprint.
Not possible
No, sorry. Sprint phone's are CDMA locked, so, they can only be used on CDMA networks. This includes the Note 4. Hope I helped. :good:

Will Sprint Tab S4 work on T-Mobile Data Plan

I am on TMO but I got a great deal on a Sprint S4. Given the proposed merger between Sprint and TMO I was wondering if the Sprint version will work on a TMO data plan. If not, will Sprint unlock a non blacklisted IMEI to allow its use on TMO?
Thanks
I believe Sprint is CDMA and TMobile is GSM so I don't believe you can use it on TMobile today. You'll have to call TMobile to confirm. If they do merge most likely they'll quickly have SIMs to support the tablet. So I'd hold onto the tablet.

Doing some additional research, LTE is based upon GSM, not CDMA. The Sprint version has a sim card slot. If I can get it unlocked it should work fine on any other LTE carrier using the same frequencies. There's a store in town that charges a fee to unlock devices. I'll stop by and see if they can unlock my S4. It is also interesting that the Sprint version does not have the word "Sprint" printed on the back. I wonder if the Sprint version is the same as the international version locked to Sprint.
