I got my phone on Monday and it has been working extremely well. The battery has been fine. But since yesterday (I haven't downloaded any apps) my battery has been dying really fast. I've lost 10 percent in the last 35 minutes. This is the first time cell standby is draining more than the screen. I also disabled sprint connections optimizer.
Here is a screenshot of the battery stats

Do you actually have a data connection? It's grey'd out. If you find that's probably why. Weak signal draws a lot of power
it has nothing to do with signal. my g4 lasted twice as much as this g4. i also have the sprint g4 and I'm about to just go turn this in and go get an s6 piece of junk with no removable battery or sd card slot. this g4 has worse battery than any android from metropcs.

I've been having some pretty crappy battery life. I don't know if this is due to the fact that it's on LTE/CDMA or what. I've been using Android since April 2009 when I got my Droid Incredible. I generally keep most settings on and can get a full days worth of use.
WiFi - usually always on, unless it nags me about new networks. I always keep the setting to 'always on' too.
GPS - always set on.
Email - 15 minute sync time.
Anyway, you get the picture. I'm gonna try setting it CDMA only to see if that helps.
Post your thoughts, is this a 4G issue? I don't get 4G at my house so... I dunno if it's searching for it or what. In the picture I have about 6 hours of sleep or so factored in.

I installed the 2.3.6 update using Kies. I have fewer apps installed now than before the update and the are no apps installed now that weren't before.
I checked my battery life under about phone and found that in 8 hours and 7 minutes of up time, my phone has been awake for 7 hours and 59 minutes of it.
I'm not sure what's causing it, but I've started deleting apps one by one to see if I can find it.

I have the same problem and my battery life sucks pretty bad.

Battery life got shtyier and so did internet speeds. New update sucks
Mine isn't doing that. I'm getting days on a charge. Leaving wifi on does drop this to one day only.
My battery life seems to be better than before. Sorry guys.
i've been using T-Mobile WiFi calling for a few weeks now, and for the most part battery life seems good, maybe even better than without.
However, last night it sucked 30%+ of my battery with a partial wakelock overnight without me even touching my phone. Anybody seen this before or have an idea on how to keep it from doing this?
Oddly enough, under Better Battery Stats, it's listed as AlarmScheduledService, but just to make it clear I had no alarms scheduled. Under Android's native battery usage display, it first showed up as *wakelock* before resolving into IMS Service.

Ive noticed the EXACT same thing... id go to sleep and wake up with like 40% battery missing... stopped using wifi calling problem went away :\
So... I bought a cheap "extended" battery for my glorified wifi hotspot and I plug it in and this is what it says. I found it funny, so I thought I would share.
I'll report on battery life as I go through the first few charging cycles
I use my OV for Pandora and as a wifi hot spot at work. So take my numbers with a grain of salt.
For 10 bucks, if it even does an hour over my stock battery, I'll be happy. I planned on using both anyway.
If the battery life is fantastic, I'll be buying another one, and an external charger. If anyone has a recommendation on a external charger, that'd be awesome. Preferably one thay is universal so I can charge all my extra batteries with it. (Note 2 stock, Rezound extended, Rezound stock, misc camera batteries)
My friend is giving me his Rezound and says that it has a hard time charging, so I figured an external charger would be best until I ca diagnose the problem and fix it.

Hello,
I'm nearing the end of my 14-day return/exchange at T-Mobile and just wondering if these pictures and these battery stats are similar to what everyone else is getting.

Here's my regular battery life.
I started a little low due to a cache wipe. Around 90%.

Well, these days I haven't been anything close to that. Been only getting like 2-3 hours of screen time but I do have Spotify one for about an hour though.
