i've been using T-Mobile WiFi calling for a few weeks now, and for the most part battery life seems good, maybe even better than without.
However, last night it sucked 30%+ of my battery with a partial wakelock overnight without me even touching my phone. Anybody seen this before or have an idea on how to keep it from doing this?
Oddly enough, under Better Battery Stats, it's listed as AlarmScheduledService, but just to make it clear I had no alarms scheduled. Under Android's native battery usage display, it first showed up as *wakelock* before resolving into IMS Service.

I've been having some pretty crappy battery life. I don't know if this is due to the fact that it's on LTE/CDMA or what. I've been using Android since April 2009 when I got my Droid Incredible. I generally keep most settings on and can get a full days worth of use.
WiFi - usually always on, unless it nags me about new networks. I always keep the setting to 'always on' too.
GPS - always set on.
Email - 15 minute sync time.
Anyway, you get the picture. I'm gonna try setting it CDMA only to see if that helps.
Post your thoughts, is this a 4G issue? I don't get 4G at my house so... I dunno if it's searching for it or what. In the picture I have about 6 hours of sleep or so factored in.

What is the deal with these modem_usb wakelocks? I've had this issue with CM9/franko and AOKP/stock and can't figure out what the problem is. Even with the extended battery I'm hard pressed to get over ten hours with an hour or two of screen time. I lose roughly 10% battery an hour with or without the screen.
I've tried freezing programs with titanium backup to no success.
Is there something I'm missing? I toggled usb tethering on and off but nothing changed. Searching for these wakelocks on google and XDA has turned up nothing.
If someone could shed some light on the issue I would appreciate it.

Edit: I completely reflashed AOKP with no additional apps besides dropbox, cpuspy, and better battery stats. And I still have the same wakelocks as described above. Does no one else have these wakelocks? I can't think of anything I could possibly do differently to prevent them.
Hey guys there seems to be some sort of a problem with my phone now.
It has never happened before.
I realised that my phone was pretty hot last night, even on idle! It's as if it's running a Tegra game or something. And the battery goes down at a rate of about 50% in 3 hours.
I checked the task manager and couldn't find anything that is fishy.
What else can I do?
Thanks in advance

Took this screen shots after I charged the phone to full, lock its screen, and went to bed. Got up 3 hours later and saw those
It's happening again: http://db.tt/NFKuvmd8
Anyone had any idea what seems to be the problem?
Thanks

I got my phone on Monday and it has been working extremely well. The battery has been fine. But since yesterday (I haven't downloaded any apps) my battery has been dying really fast. I've lost 10 percent in the last 35 minutes. This is the first time cell standby is draining more than the screen. I also disabled sprint connections optimizer.
Here is a screenshot of the battery stats

Do you actually have a data connection? It's grey'd out. If you find that's probably why. Weak signal draws a lot of power
it has nothing to do with signal. my g4 lasted twice as much as this g4. i also have the sprint g4 and I'm about to just go turn this in and go get an s6 piece of junk with no removable battery or sd card slot. this g4 has worse battery than any android from metropcs.
So I've noticed my battery life pulling in at just about one day lately, which is a lot worse than it used to be (I cycle different batteries regularly so no single one is super worn out). I started checking my battery info, and a service com.oculus.horizon:fbns seems to be culprit. Thing is, while it's a Gear VR thing, that service doesn't even appear under the applications and services information in the all list. Many other com.** things do but not that one. I can't stop it, disable it, and disabling the gear VR applications doesn't seem to stop it either. Is there anything I can do?

Oculus Battery Drain here too
I am having the same issue. Very frustrating... There are only a few phone models that this software is designed for, why cant they get it right?
Here's a suggestion. I've never tried it since I use Titanium Backup. Maybe it'll work.
