Hellow everybody i have ZTE v9a reliance 3g tab(india) . I rooted it using iroot software in windows then its only get root permission and the device name changed v9plus . Then I tried to install the fonts in system font file. When i copied those file in system file its restarted automatically and then it keep on restarting .. please. Tell me what to do.. plzzzzzzzz tell
I have tried to flash a custom in it by the files from xda named v9arom.zip. When i bacup NV its get pass but when i put action mode to download and the start it says line1 fail please reset the modem manually.. and in the the box says download " armprg.bin fail" . I have search everywhere for this fix but unable.. plz tell me what to do.. I think you really fix it plz .. that vey kind of you...

i tried to solve my problem for 1 day before i make this thread.i have an unbraded ls ks20 with english rom v10c.i tried to pass a greek rom (v10g vodafone).after flash it and the phone start setup shows me a message "illegal use" so i went back to english rom.since then my phone doesn't conect to the network "no service".everything else works fine .what should i do?did i kill my brand new lg ks20?

Never flashed before - but you need a special file (nv?) that is unique to your phone. If you didn't back that up, yes you killed it ! If you did search XDA for instructions on how to restore it.
You can do this step to find your signal.
1.backup your ks-20 NV file,the file you can backup from firmware.
2.firm ENG rom and chose ERASE ESF.
3.complete the flash,you can go in the system,and find Windag_open.cab install on the device,and open engineer mode.
4.open firmware,only flash nv file,since reset ,you will find the signal.
I do this to find my signal
lol, He loss calibration data from handset!!!! If there is no service after flashing without NV backup, only way to resolve that problem to flash the NVRAM with backup of another handset and correct IMEI and BT address.

If u need .nv2 file, pm me with ur imei no. and email address, i can generate one for you, but the last digit, which is calculated by your phone, would likely to be different and also i can only generate branded .nv2 since i only got branded .nv2 file. It could be work in unbranded phone but just u need to flash a branded rom or hybrid rom to use with it.

I have managed to write the IMEI to the phone with QPSt; do i need to do something else?
If i conect back with QPST shows the IMEI (without the last digit)
Unfortunatell i don't have a valid backup for the nv file

I still have my .qcn file... but what I'm trying to do is a little bit different: put a KS20 rom on a MS25 mobile (similar mobile that we have here in Brazil).
I tried to recover my network config using my qcn backup but I couldn't...
My phone always shows "No Service".
Tooo bad...

What does ERASE EST do? Why would you think this whole procedure will help find the signal? I asked because my KS20 doesn't find any signal in a lot of places but my wife's KS20 does. I am wondering if there is anything I can try to resolve my problem. Thanks.

I have one LG KS20 here..
Version info:
ROM - v10b
Bootloader - v10b
Modem firmware - v10b
ROM date - 2008-03-07
So - I have a problem here.. When I put the SIM card inside and power ON the phone - I can use Wi-Fi but there is no Network... I read a lot here in this forum and find that if somebody flashes the mobile without backup the NV file - problem... So I did not flashed this mobile.. I just take it and when I insert SIM card just nothing happened... After that I checked the IMEI number - its something like 0000023000000<0
Can somebody explain me what and where is the problem and how to solve it...

i have the same problem.for three days try to solve it.i use avery way that appears in the forum and general in the internet.i didn't make it.finaly i send it back to lg for service.i wish you good luck.

It seems like ur NV is not there.Try using QPST to restore back ur nv2.If u said u didnt flash or reflash ur original ROM then just send it back to LG

LG KS20 Network Problem after i flashed a EN ROM

I have a strange problem. I have flashed the Enghlish ROM, and i have managed to recover the IMEI number bach with the QPST tool but still no network.
Any ideea???

You can't simply use QPST to repair your imei complete, you can't repair no network problem in this way to, you must hv a working .nv2 file with you and restore it back, read the posts in my signiture pls
I've just got a new ks20 ... had the rom V10b-00-262-02-10-OCT-21-2007 (OS 5.2.1626.3) ... I tried to update my rom ... but the "LGMDP_1.5_Build_12.13" always show "No phone" under the phone columm ...
I have done the same as the thread " [How To] Connect KS20 with LGMDP + Free Unbranded .nv2" of raykisi ...
I don't know which step I had fault ... plz help me ...
Here what I've done :
1. Install "LG Corona USB Driver" in computer
2. Change necessary settings in engineering menu
At device:
-Enter this code to dialpad: 2676625720#
.....4. Port Setting → 1. Diag Setting → 1. USB Set for Diag → “OK” → “Back”.
.....4. Port Setting → 1. Diag Setting → 2. USB Switching → “LG Composite -DUN, DIAG”.
-press Done and soft-reset the device. (by turn off and on, I did)
3. Install "WinDiag_Open.cab" in the device and soft-reset it ...
4. Plug the usb cab to PC, at this step the PC found 3 new hardware and Installed completely (A port, A usb and ... something i forgot)
5. Run LGMDP_1.5_Build_12.13, click Select port, the LGMDP_1.5_Build_12.13 can found the port COM5 but there's always "No phone" under the phone columm and NONE the Model
I tried 2 time on a XP PC and a Vista Laptop ... Help me ... plz ... I need my nv2 to play with my new device ...

I just powered on my PDA and there it was ... blue screen and nothing happens...
didn't tried to update didn't try to do nothing.. just wanted to use it regularly and it died...
So far I've downloaded the update file of my language from asus site which is ZIP file with 3 files.. upgrade tool.exe , Update.Img , update.dat.
what should I do from here?

yeah , I've already saw this thread but since I want to Install hebrew version I thought It will be complicated...
so here is my problem...
I've downloaded cmonex DIO file and managed to Install it on my device.
the status now is as follows : It's now working in the english version , but somehow when I try to open the upgrade tool.exe , the one I got with the zip I've downloaded from the ASUS site it says "please connect to AC adapter" wheres my device is connected to the AC adapter and charging light is def on.
could someone provide a fixed upgrade tool.exe file?
or explain to me simply how to change the hebrew img file so that I would be able to install it on my device with the Rom loaded option (like I did with the DIO) ?

i bought my DHD few days ago , it is shipped with the last GB update , Android version 2.3.5 , Sense 3.0 , software number 3.13.415.2 ...
i know how bad that looks , cuz rooting the GB shipped dhd seems to be pain in the ass ...
i started to look for it before making a new thread, i found 2 solutions , AAHK and HTC DEV TOOL .
starting with htc dev tool , i read that it has many disadvantages , and a lot of custom roms wont be able to be flashed after using this method in rooting , so i decided to choose the AAHK which seems much better , but i faced a major problem , the downgrading of the dhd ...
i started to root using AAHK , did every thing was written in the notes ,disabling av , installing drivers , usb debugging ....etc
1- connected the phone
2- pasted the password
3- pressed 1 to start hacking
4- i was asked to downgrade , i chose yes
here comes the problem , cuz the aahk started trying to download the PD98IMG , it completes 20 try then stops .
i took the link of the PD98IMG , and downloaded it myself , its a zip file sized 256 mb ... i put it in the file that has the same name in the kit , and started over again , nothing happened .... pasted it to the sd card and started again , nothing happened also , and the kit tries always to download the PD98IMG with no result .....
did i make any mistake ?
did i miss a step ?

it's not a big deal... just take the downloaded ROM "PD98IMG.zip" and copy it to the root of your SD card, then go to hboot "turn off the phone and then start it with power+vol down " it'll take you to the hboot menu " white screen with few options " it'll scan your sd card and automatically prompt you that if you wanna install the discovered ROM or not, choose yes and you must be ready to go.... hope that what i said is helpful and guys correct me if I'm wrong..

thx pal , the problem was in "PD98IMG.zip" downloading step because of the internet proscription in Syria , i used a proxy bypass software and everything wnet perfect ... it took some time to download the image but it deserves waiting .... lol

mine transfers the file to sd card but hboot wont show any option to press the volume up key to start the downgrading process please help
looks like you have a problem with downloading the downgrade ROM due to your slow internet speed?
I suggest that you should download and install this stock rom

This is an old stock rom but it will make the AAHK be able to root without downgrading the ROM. Since the link above is a direct link, you can add it to any download manager which can accelerate your download speed. It is faster than letting the AAHK download the old rom by it self.

Can anyone tell me how to install the driver correctly from the AAHK pack. I go to tools then win and install from there. Then I run the program and it gives an error message. Can anybody tell me what seems to be the problem. Thank you for your help guys.
