Depends on preference. PET vs tempered glass.

I am not a huge fan of tempered glass protectors, I have seen them break screens underneath the glass without breaking the glass. They can do more harm than good.

i bought the case and also the anti-explosion screen protector! (the case has one nillkin screen protector but not the tempered.)

Just get the Original Nillkin Tempered Glass Screen Protector for my oneplus one from aliexpress.com. Just want use it to protect my phone from dust, scratching. Nice product.

Nillkin or Orzly, which can you recommend? (I only had exim (now nexxaScreen) and dipos till now).

I have the Nillkin. Feels a bit lower quality than a high end Spigen one. The transmission isn't great. you can visually tell there's something between the screen and your eyes.

I totaly agree with the nilken one being cheap. I ordered it from aliexpress and it arrived broken. i ordered it from ebay and then returned it as it was square edged and looked quite universal. Did a google search and came across a youtube link with the orzly video (type in orzly one plus one glass screen) and then found it on amazon. The packaging, the manual and everything about it looked the same as a spigen one and it looked like its from the same factory
at $14.99 from amazon.com i was chuffed to bits with it. I also brought a orzly one plus one case as well.
Anyway the video on youtube does a good job in showing it of and i hope this post answers your questions and helps.

A third on the nilken... the window for the ffc and ear speaker is a slot going all the way across from the right side of the speaker to the left side of the ffc port. in between, there's a gap that doesn't need to be there. I'll try the Orzly when the time comes to replace it.

Ordered the Nillkin Tempered Glass Protector too - for me it's working fine since two weeks. Never had such a good screen protector. If you can wait the two weeks shipment from Hongkong (to Germany), you can't go wrong with it. And: it's only around ten dollars!

I mean, if you take Nillkin or Orzly, etc. they are all 0.3 mm..... and if you look at the pictures in the ali listing, the difference in thickness could be a real deal breaker...

i have the nilkin on and its not cut properly !

I use the Nillkin, but you can't really go wrong with either case. A majority of people seem to like both of these cases when it comes to screen quality. I can't say much about the cutouts though, since some people think it's too long. Consider the Orzly too!

I bought both screen protectors at once, since I was expecting my OPO in the mail and didn't know which SP would arrive in time. But since my Nillkin does have rounded edges and is cut correctly, I won't have any reason to try the Godosmith unless or until the Nillkin shatters.
I'd love to know why some Nillkin SPs have sharp corners and others do not. My assumption would be that the sharp ones are counterfeit. There's a code on the packaging of official Nillkin products that you can check.
I've checked codes for Nillkin cases in the past and they've always proved authentic. I didn't bother with the Nillkin SP because it fit correctly and the edges were rounded.

Nillkin rocks.

Im not sure about the Nillkin but I purchased and installed the Godosmith on my OnePlus, looks and feels great, no complaints here.

I have also bought one of these and it's an excellent product (as I 've found with all Spigen cases). I have not bought a different brand than Spigen in the last 4 years. Highly recommended

you didn't get the TPU case in box with P20? I have bought P20 in UK and there was a case inside the box and screen protector already on screen.

Yeah, it was the same here in Germany when I got my P20 from my carrier. But the stock screen protector sucks hard because its attracts fingerprints way more than the plain screen itself or the 3rd party glass screen protector I'm currently using.

That's true. I have ordered Nilkin amazing h+ pro glass. Now i'm waiting for it. This glass is scratch resistant i had it before on my nexus 6p

I just switched to this spigen case two days ago:

Makes the device bigger than the stock protector but adds more cushioning around the edges and also a little protection for the front. I've had spigen cases for my last 4 smartphones and I'm quite satisfied with the quality. Design and protection are both very good (at least with the cases I've been using). Never had any damage to the phone.
(I've been using at least two dozen smartphones in the last 10 years and never had a spider app installed by accident on any phone...)

Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Post pictures with proof of fit if you're going to claim no Halo etc.
I was very disappointed that I could never find a good tempered glass screen protector for my LG V30.

I just received my lg g7 today and apied the screen protector you posted. it feels fine, but the sides and the bottom have an air gap . I am assuming it may be slightly rounded at the sides which is why it's not sticking down completely. It works for now since I can't really see it too badly. But I do wish to find one that sticks on the phone completely flat

bummer I was hoping it would lay flat. My protector arrives tomorrow and my phone arrives on the 7th

All 3 arrived with smudges and scratches on them already so I will be returning them. I tried one of them anyway and it seems your application has to be really precise because of the curved edges.

I'm only rolling with one kind of protector... I have them on both my phones I use daily now... I don't mind paying the extra cash bc I know the quality will be top notch... No pun intended..

GPEL is the best out of the 5 other brands I've tried for the LG G7
Every other brand that I’ve tried had either adhesive only around the borders that caused touch sensitivity issues and some other clear screen protectors were too small and it did not cover the whole display area.
GPEL’s LG G7 tempered glass is the first glass I've used that actually seats perfectly with full adhesive on the entire screen, had no bubbles, no sensitivity issues and it was super easy to install.

I'm sure that screen protector has Halo.. it just has a black border to hide it
Someone on Amazon reviewed the ringke invisible defender and said it has no Halo so I ordered that one to try. I will be returning the Mr Shield protector

I’ve not installed it yet as I’m waiting on phone ...I expect it to cover the chin with minimal space left to the edges ..it looks complicated when you watch online videos but I’ve installed 3 of them so far with no issues ... take your time it will go on smoothly ...

Unfortunately one piece was broken in the kit I received from Amazon it looks to be either how they stored or during delivery... I have to do a return and reorder...

Granted that's for iPhone but the tests they did should be the same. I've got it installed and it was super easy, no bubbles, no problems.

Oh that sucks, are they doing an exchange? Was hoping to see that bad boy on the G7. Just curious, do you know if Amazon tends to sell all the Spigen cases?
I checked and it looks like Spigen site has the Slim Armor but no Tough Armor, while the Spigen store on Amazon has the Tough Armor but no Slim Armor

Is the cause of the halo due to curved screens? I thought the G7 didn't have a curved screen like the V30

Can anyone recommend a tempered glass or other quality screen protector for the outer cover display? Something that you've personally used and can vouch for.

Yep. Mine was basically destroyed on day 1 with normal use.

Whitestone has a ez screen protector and also a liquid adhered protector. I have installed ez one without trouble since a few days before official release and it's still holding strong. You also get 2 for like $10 so you can't really beat it

Looks like it might have trouble fitting properly if used with a case. The black border looks problematic. Have you used it with a case and, if so, do you have any pics or comments on that? Thanks.

I'm trying to figure out the best front screen protector as well. I would prefer tempered glass but have only seen a couple and not in stock at the moment. Still have the stock one on it but it's starting to bubble and peel/Crack on the sides.

I'm using these white stone dome front tempered glass screen protector. I got two of them for $10. They work decent with a case. But make sure it is a minimalistic case like the Samsung carbon fiber.

I am currently using samsungs silicone case and there is no problems with it coming off. Have not tried with a heavy duty case but I honestly don't see it as a problem

I got my leather case (samsung one) today and love it. However as soon as i applied it the cover screen plastic protector came off in the edge so i just removed it.
since it seems pretty thick on the inside - is there any 9h glass available yet which fits with the case? Or can i go to a samsung store and they reapply the plastic one on the cover screen?
i dont mind paying

I'm using the Whitestone glass screen protector. NOT the EZ. I've used it on all my phones since it was first released, including I Note devices and the Z Fold 2.

I'm waiting on these to get delivered to me today actually. The stock one on my front screen is starting bubble and peel up on the side. My case kinda covers it up but the stock one is also picking up quite a few scratches. Hopefully these will do the job. Isn't that easy to fine a good tempered glass screen protector for this device. Spigen looks to be coming out with one but not available yet.

I had Spigen EZ for front screen and it is crap. Peeled off next day and applied Whitestone Dome.

I'm using the Ringke Slim and I really like it. I ordered the Spigen S Pen case, but it won't ship for another week or so. Looks bigger than I'd like, but definitely need something I can switch to when I really need to carry the S Pen and don't want to have it loose in a pocket.
I also ordered the official Samsung Aramid case (which also won't arrive for another week or two). Based on the reports I've read and the pics I've seen, the Aramid appears to be the slimmest case available for the ZF3. I hate bulky cases, especially on a device that's as large as the ZF3, so I'm guessing I'll probably settle on the Aramid for 90% of my daily use.

Thanks buddy, how are you finding the ringke slim? I was keen on that until i read a few amazon reviews mentioning the case had scratched their devices? Have you had any such issue? Would be good to hear if you used the sticky pads and if they are easy/hard to remove.

Great case. No scratches. Not sure how anyone scratched their Fold with this case. You'd have to be pretty damn careless to do that. I used the adhesive strips.
