Problem with recovery

Well people i have problem with my recovery because i wanna install a rom and when i choose apply update from sdcar show me this error Faile to mount /sdcard ( No Such file or directory ) E: Can't mount /sdcard. Install from sdcard complete. I need help plz what to do?

Need a bit more info mate, do you mean CWM recovery or stock recovery? Also are you using a custom Kernel like Merruk? Which ROM are you trying to install? Tell us and we can help you

Or you could just remove and reinsert your SD card and try again.

or you could just have used your phone to format your sd card

CWM Recovery Issue

Hi,
I want to install surdu petru's TWRP to install CM10.1
but my cwm wont open my external_sd and also not internal storage.
It gives: unable to mount external_sd
I cant install anything.
Please help!
(P.s. I tried reflashing many times!)

Have you tried taking out the SD Card and put it back in?

My tablet won't mount my sd card

So,I have rooted and installed my sm t210 with the SEAL v4 rom,and i want to try another one,the svelteNole,but when I get into the philz 6 menu,it won't mount my external sd card,where I have my ROM. It says ; " E:Cannot mount custom path". And when I try mounting it :"Error mounting /external_sd!".
Please help and thanks in advance.

Why do you want to Mount your ext.sdcard.I never Mount my sdcard1.
Go to install ZIP.
Install ZIP from sdcard 1 ( its your ext.sdcard ) then select the folder and select the Rom.

It's all good now
Now it's good. I installed twrp. Then installed SEAL.
I wanted to mount my sd card because I had all my roms and kernels in it. It seems that Philz isn't for me.

Yeah.. I too ended up replacing Philz with TWRP :good:

PLEASE HELP ME!! :'( ROM error :'(

Hello dear community. I really need your help. I was on DN3 5.2 lite and I wanted to move to CM11S M9 ROM. I wiped everything(including internal storage) but after installing ROM and gapps my phone is stuck on bootanimation forever. I tried to install with TWRP and CWM 6.0.4.3 from ROM manager (play store). Also when using CWM I cant wipe preload for some reason!!!(it says "failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p14 Error formatting /preload!) I think I'm using MK9 bootloader if that even matters. PLEASE HELP :'(

Download TWRP 2.7.1.2 and put in your SD external. Flash.
Download ROM and put in your SD external, flash.
If dont enter in recovery, try kies to restock.

I tried with TWRP 2.7.1.0 but same thing :/

Hello,
I need someone to help me make my phone work again.
here are all the steps I did before:
1- I downloaded HTC all in one kit
2- I unlocked my bootloader
3- I installed TWRP from HTC all in one kit
4- I downloaded this ROM : htc_m8_generic/da67a982c7dbf1dd45f8e34735eb591ac8d56b11.OTA_M8_UL_M60_STOCK_UI_MR_Google_WWE_5.07.1700.6-4.04.1700.10_release_454832.zip
first of all, when I booted to my current OS and I connect my phone to computer, the Internal storage not 16 GB anymore !! it's 10 GB and not a single folder inside, and I can't write anything there..!!
anyway I copied that ROM to my SD card and booted to TWRP recovery, I press Install and choose my zip file from my SD card and swipe to install ..I get this error:
mount: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/userdata at /data: Device or resource busy unkown command
I wiped everything and now I can't boot to my OS it's not there..so I want to install the ROM I mentioned above.
Few doubts :
1- does it or doesn't matter to be rooted to install that ROM through TWRP ?
2- does it matter to be S-OFF ?
3- does it matter if the zip file on SD Card or internal storage ?
4- does it matter if I'm not using the last TWRP version ?
I need help correct me if I'm wrong..
