Tell us exactly what you did, and how far you got, as there could be more than one reason for bootloop. most common reason is not flashing the boot.img or not flashing the correct boot image for the rom. another reason is not erasing cache in fastboot after flashing boot.img. Don't worry too much, 99% of problems can be fixed quite easily.
Edit: Haha, beaten by @robchongke

nope you just need to wipe data and cache after that install this zip and if you want it include gapps too, after all installed successfully turn on your phone wait it. for first boot it take a while and if this very longer / stuck in black screen turn off your phone and flash the boot.img from this zip with fastboot mode from your phone and turn on again and it will be worked
And how do i acess recovery to install the rom? Do i need to flash a custom one? And so when before flashing do i have to delete any of those files that are in the root of the zip? And the boot.imh what is, the rom? The recovery?

Yes boot.img is for recovery mode , you need to flash that from fast boot mode after you flash cm12.zip and gapps.zip too and don't forget to wipe data and cache after install both of them
But do i need root to flash the recovery? Isnt impossible to flash the recovery after flashing the new OS? Lolll

I doubt that any stock rom will flash with twrp recovery....in the past with oppo phones (n1, 7a) its always needed stock recovery to flash stock roms...I guess we just play the waiting game until someone can upload the boot image from the updated rom. I'm pretty sure flashing that alone will get wifi back up and running. 07 Or if someone has the stock recovery they could upload....I am unsure if you can just rip it directly out of the rom and flash it....Also on oppo forums they have posted the rom for 5207 I am also unsure if you can flash that to the 5206.
The zip in that thread is images to flash in fastboot?
...
I would think you would have to flash each image individually.... system, boot, recovery ....unless if we start by flashing only the unmodified boot.img to see if it will fix wifi....but i doubt it because i suspect the wrong boot image is what screwed up wifi in the first place...someone please correct me if im wrong

Yes, you're right; the boot image is not compatible with the upgrade; so downgrade to get root. I'm working on trying to upgrade again with the OTA upgrade and then getting the new boot.img and rooting that. More soon I hope!
FYI I tried your images, Lum_UK and found that I couldn't flash boot.img with fastboot, BUT I could dd them from within recovery, so I got myself up and running again.
Yes you'd have to flash all the images by hand one after the other.
edit: Replied before seeing babelmonk's response, please ignore this post.

Seems there's only about 4 or 5 people actively working on this phone here, so I'm sure we'll all end up helping each other at some point.

Thanks for that, though I haven't tried it yet. Can I ask what it changes? Is it worth the upgrade? My original firmware +root seems to work pretty well already so I may well leave it alone until L or CM comes out.

I have no idea what it changes as it's the firmware my International N5706 was shipped with when it was released last week. It may be different to the US model (though I believe the only difference between the two is the baseband) and is definitely different to the N5707 for Chinese users.
Dude, thanks!!! You saved my life!

How to reverse/undo latest OTA update?

Hey guys,
Ever since I updated my Wileyfox a few days ago, it's gone to crap. Half my apps don't work, and they've removed features I really liked.
Is there any way to reverse this dreadful update and restore it to how it was?
Thanks in advance

Thanks very much Robin. Is that the cyanogen/android version prior to this latest OTA update? I'm looking for the official cyanogen, not cyanogenmod.
Do you know if I need to root my phone to be able to install it? Presumably I'd lose all my data?
Sorry for all the questions
EDIT: I think you sent the firmware for the Storm?

No its a signed Zip so should install on a stock ROM but be careful if you are downgrading the bootloader as that has been known to brick phones.
As far as I know the swift won't be bricked by this. But if you are worried I would use the fastboot zip and use a script to make sure everything is wiped first.

You don't need a custom recovery that is the whole point of it being a signed zip
unzip first?

if you can find the 12.1 fastboot zip you can revert back to factory reset stock by fastboot flashing:
Code:
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash hyp hyp.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
and
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash system system.img
PM me if you cannot find cm-12.1-YOG7DAS2FI-crackling-signed-fastboot-07863145a7.zip
Hi, could you please confirm if this worked? I'm on a completely stock Swift with OTA to Cyanogen OS13. I'm finding the battery life disappointing so want to try downgrading to 12.1

How did you accomplish this? I can't get RSD Lite to detect my phone (although fastboot devices shows it listed) and I can't flash the full firmware via adb because I keep getting "Image not signed or corrupt". I'm really confused.

If not try unlock ur bootloader than try it ll work
From what I can tell you will always get the "Image not signed or corrupt" error, but it works anyways. Idk why but it doesnt matter as long as it works . Motorola(Lenovo) has the instructions to flash stock firmware on your device, just download the firmware for your device and follow those instructions.

Did you only flash the stock rom or did you try to flash everything? If you didnt try to flash everything I would try that and make sure you have the correct stock firmware for your device before you do that. Theres not really much else you can do other than try flashing in twrp, but idk if twrp supports space chunks, but it does support images. If it really comes down to it, you can force flash the system partition in twrp, but you would need the whole system image and not space chunks.
