Hello, I would like a copy of the build.prop file from the system folder from/for Froyo OTA for the HTC Incredible. I have searched and searched, but I can not locate anywhere. I have found build.prop.p file in OTA pushed file, but can not decode.

I'm looking for the build.prop file for froyo, so I can patch my 2.1 build.prop file and stop the nag screens being pushed, for me to update to 2.2. I just not ready because of corporate email issues with my Exchange server and 2.2. Thanks

I am new to the forum and don't know if posting a request in this section is appropriate but... Anw, I use Android Revolution and Rom Cleaner. Never thought that RC would delete the My Files. I couldn't install it even when I put in system/app and change permission and reboot.
Found the solution: pull the file directly from the custom/stock rom and use it for installation.

this is a fix/update for the TimeZone for android,
please update the files attached in this thread,
the files representing the 2013d update of the timezone data,
if you want to make your own files, go and read on this url: https://www.iana.org/time-zones
the files need to be copied into this directory /system/usr/share/zoneinfo/ the version of the update will be in file zoneinfo.version.
also, updating the zone files is one of those small services you can do to your devoted users.

Then clear tha data of battery and performance in manage apps in settings. That's it
Extract this zip and do the following steps.
Unzipping got me a file named game_patch etc. Thats not it right? Am I supposed tk do something else?
Paste that patch file in the location provided above.
